2. Number 9

Ronald set his alarm the next day so he wouldn't forget to get up. He didn't know what to wear. He knew it wasn't important but he couldn't help but to fiddle through his closet. Soon there was a tap at his front door. He was really confused at who was at his door this early in the morning. He grabbed his faded red shirt and headed to the door. He yanked the door open and was almost about to holler when he realized who it was. He immediately became embarrassed when he realized it was Felicity. There he was standing shirtless in front of her. The scent of Magnolia's hit his face. She always smelled of flowers. She wore a sports tank and spandex shorts.

"Sorry, I didn't put a shirt on..." Ron said, half panicking, and half thanking the lord he worked out religiously after the whole fiasco with Voldemort.

"You look fine Ronald, you shouldn't worry." Felicity said, not trying to hide the fact she was staring at his chest. "Um, I made breakfast and I was wondering if you wanted to eat some before going out to New Zealand."

"Oh, I'd love to." He pulled his shirt on and proceeded out his door. He noted how her hair was today. It was pulled into a high ponytail then braided all the way down with a purple bow at the bottom. "Your hair looks nice today Felicity, how did you manage the braid by yourself?"

"Oh, thank God for magic." Felicity said then opened the door to her house.

Ron was taken off guard when he saw Harry there already. "Hey...Harry..." he said trying not to feel a little upset that his best friend was in the room. He was angry because he couldn't show a liking for Felicity while Harry was in the room. He knew Harry had a serious crush on her. Ever since their school days at Hogwarts. Just seeing her from a distance drove him crazy, as well as himself. Hermione was the one that was really close to her. They were the top academic pair in Hogwarts. Ron always told himself not to go for her if Harry was still head over heels, which he was to this day. Harry was his best friend, he couldn't let a woman get in between that.

"Oops, I forgot to tell you. Harry came over yesterday after you went back and I asked him... I hope that's alright?" Felicity said immediately feeling the tension between the two.

"It's alright, no problem at all." Ron said forcing a smile to his face.

"Splendid!" she said throwing one of her award winning smiles at him. "Now, for breakfast, I have..." she walked over to the kitchen.

"Nice for you to tell me you were gonna be here Ron." Harry whispered over to Ron. "It's gonna be harder to talk to her with you here."

"Well, I didn't know that my presence would cause you such dismay Harry." Ron spat back.

"You two listening?" Felicity said. The two immediately looked at her.

"What?" they said together.

"I said, I have vanilla pancakes with your choice of syrup. Bacon, sausage, smothered potatoes, and scrambled eggs with ham, chives, olives, and cheese. Go ahead and dig in. I'm gonna go shower real quick. I went running this morning." Felicity said he walked upstairs.

Felicity was kind of disappointed in the two. She had heard them talking. She forgot Harry liked her so much and she was hoping to talk to Harry about Ron but it was hopeless if Harry was going to be this way. And it seems Ron doesn't have an interest in me... But he treats me so different. Like I'm not going to break if I jump. I mean, when I wear low cut dresses he attempts to look instead of not looking directly at me. Felicity thought as she began undressing. She decided to wear something not so flowery today. The muggles had some very provocative perfumes and body washes she was dying to try. Felicity had trouble with men. Some may have found this surprising but to the world of beautimus' it was not. It also didn't help that she was half Veela. Her mother hailed from England and her father was South African. A very wealthy South African. The life of a beautimus was to find a partner that could see past the beauty and gentleness and see a person. Ron possessed that trait. Harry had always tried to shield her from danger like she was going to break. Felicity demanded that men looked at her like she was a sexy female, not a worshipped goddess. Fred could have been the one but he went too far. He treated her like she was human, but he flaunted her too much, like a toy, and then he cheated on her, like he couldn't lose her.

Felicity searched through her cabinet and pulled out very irresistible. It was a perfume she had bought and never tried. She sprayed some on and then went to her closet. She pulled out a faded yellow tank and frayed denim shorts. They were borderline daisy's, but she didn't really care, today was a test on both of them. She headed toward downstairs again when she decided that she was fully ready. Her hair blew behind her as she rushed down the stairs. When she made her entrance, the two seemed to be standing. Harry looked angry and Ron looked fearful. What's going on in here? Why does Harry have his wand out? Before she could say anything, Harry pushed Ron a few ways back.

"Harry! What's going on down here? What are you doing? Are you threatening him?" Felicity hollered.

Harry turned suddenly looked at Felicity. Her face was in an expression he had never seen on her before. She was furious and disappointed. "Felicity...I..." he stopped. He looked at Ron. "I'm sorry Ron..." he looked back at her. "I'm gonna go Felicity...I never meant to disappoint you." and with that, he apparated.

"What was going on?" Felicity asked Ron.

"He, got a little upset, at me." Ron said then looked up at Felicity. His heart almost skipped a beat. What is she wearing? Is she wearing that on purpose? And her perfume...its sinfully good. He couldn't stop staring at her, even her hair was billowing behind her like one of those super models in the muggle world. "Um, I like your perfume, its intoxicating...I mean, it's beautiful." he said turning redder by the moment. "I guess I'll eat now, since I never got a chance, with you know, him waving his wand in my face."

"Oh, then I'll join you." She said smiling then went to the kitchen with Ron.

Ron couldn't figure out why he felt so nervous at this moment. He went to reach for the salt but noticed it was in a peculiar bottle. "Um...is this salt?"

"Oh, no! It's a sleeping potion...what's it doing out here...? LeAnn!" Felicity stood up. "LeAnn!"

Before Felicity could go toward the door, a woman came out wearing goggles and a hot pink robe. Her curly pink hair was swirling around her feet. "Yes City?"

"You left the sleeping potion on the table."

"Ah, there it is...who is this wonderful specimen?" LeAnn said now noticing Ron.

"Oh, this is Ronald Weasley. We went to school with him remember? He was a Keeper in our school days... For Gryffindor..."

"Oh the nervous chap! Hi!" She rushed to him, her pink eyes sparkling. "LeAnn Pink. I was Seeker in Hufflepuff. I was good but Harry Potter had the run on me." LeAnn said. "Me and Felicity here make potions as a hobby. That sleeping potion right there in the wrong amount could put you to sleep for a month! Good thing you found it Felicity. Felicity made to much luck potion... You want some?"

"What? Luck? Sure why not..." Ron said slowly. It couldn't hurt. He was usually nervous.

"You don't have to if you don't want. She's a little pushy, but there is some down there. Along with a whole bunch of others. We sell them as a hobby, but you can have it for free." Felicity said. Felicity ignored the curious look LeAnn gave her.

"Sure, do you have any gnome repellant...they tend to raid my yard." Ron asked.

"Yes, I just made some, it sells like candy!" LeAnn said.

Ron followed the two women down the stairs. It was an array of scents. It ranged from retched to fantastic. Then he noticed the Luck potion bubbling nicely. It was the same color he had remembered it, that golden color. He absentmindedly stuck his finger in at then quickly took it out because he didn't know how hot it was going to be. Of course it's hot its boiling. He then stuck his finger in his mouth to calm the feeling of pain down. The he realized he ingested some Luck potion. Oh...well, I guess she was gonna give me some anyways. He suddenly felt a rush. It was good rush, like nothing could go wrong for that moment.

"LeAnn, hand me the spray bottles we use for the gnome repellent." Felicity looked over her shoulder and grabbed the bottle from LeAnn. "What happened to the bigger ones?"

"They were all bought out." LeAnn answered.

"Hmm, give me two more bottles then." she said. "Ron, I'm gonna have to give you three small bottles."

"It's good Felicity, I don't care." Ron said smoothly.

Felicity's heart skipped a beat. She wasn't prepared for him to speak so seductively. "Uh...LeAnn, give a bottle for the Luck potion... Where's the small ones?"

"They are gone! It won't hurt him to have a big bottle. Hell, as nervous as he gets he'll probably need it." LeAnn said. "I'm gonna go home and take a shower."

Ron was amazed that LeAnn actually left, he was actually waiting for her to leave. He walked up behind Felicity and got close enough to see what she was doing with the bottle. He moved her hair around so he could see her bare neck. "You smell really nice today Felicity. It's different from the flower scents you normally wear. " he said then intentionally grazed his hand on the back of her thigh, but to her it felt accidental. Then Ron backed away, he felt suddenly extremely embarrassed. The potion obviously wore off, besides it was just a lick of it.

"Wow, Ronald, I didn't know you were so bold. Drive girls wild that way." Felicity said throwing him a smile even though inside her heart was pounding. Her skin was even showing goosebumps. Ron caught a glimpse of that and was quickly proud of himself. She turned around and handed him a rather large bottle of luck potion. "If you need anymore, feel free to come right down here and get some." She said eyeing him, like she had a hidden reason, but she threw a smile like she didn't mean anything, but it didn't stop Ron from being suspicious even more.

He reached out to grab the bottle. "Thank you Felicity."

"No problem." She said, a little disappointed he didn't react the way she wanted him to. Must have been a luck moment, she thought. "So, you ready for some moving furniture."

"Yeah, after that amazing breakfast, I'd be ready for anything."

"To be honest Ronald, it's really not that much things to move. I left my pets there. All four of my little kitties, and my bed." She said looking at him. It was only a glance but there was so much meaning it that glance. "Also, my dresser. Well, my large dresser. You'll understand why I call it my large dresser."

"How big is your bed? Is it like massive?" Ron asked.

"Yes, everything I'm naming was something that I can't apparate by myself. I need a second person." she said. " Plus I wanted to apparate my little kitties at the same time, they get lonely apart from each other. They tell me all the time."

"You can speak with cats?" he asked amazed.

"Yup, all kinds actually. It's really rare cuz its usually just one breed of cat creature, but I guess I'm just special." she shrugged. She took a closer step toward him. She could see his face redden. "You ready? Give me your hands."

Ron couldn't understand why he was acting the way he was. She had just wanted to apparate but he was hoping for something else. She grabbed his hands and dissapparated with him to her old home.

Ron hated aparating, but the experience with Felicity was actually quite pleasant. Usually he felt like he was folding into himself, but this felt like flying. He even got glimpses of the scenary as they flew over oceans. Then they were standing in front of a quaint home with a white picket fence. He still couldn't believe she lived in such a small house. He hadn't actually been inside yet but he couldn't wait.

"Okay, so we are here for my kitties, my large dresser, and my bed, which is huge, i love comfy things."

"Alright, so what first." Ron said smiling at the scenery.

"We'll start with my bed." she said leading him into the house. Once inside Ron let out a big gasp. "What? What happened."

"It's huge in here! How much stuff do you actually own? Why not live in a mansion?"

"Oh, haha. I just liked the way it looked from the outside. I have yet seen a huge house that i just looked at and wanted to own. Apparently they quoted me on that and now people are trying build a house I'd love."

"Harry showed me that. It's a whole paper about you really..."

"They did a paper on me? That's a bit extreme. It's like I'm famous or something." She just laughed. She led him toward a winding hallway. With a sharp turn they ended up in a large bedroom.

"Oh my lord…that bed."

"It was specially made for me. LeAnn, Kristlyn, Scielur, and I can all fit and still have some room. Sadly they are the only ones to have shared my bed." She said laughing.

"You haven't dated…since my brother?" he asked, quite surprised.

"Nope, I've been single for 5 years. So that means I've only dated one man. He was more of a boy really." She said. "Ok, now you get on that side, make sure you hold it tight or else you will splinch the bed when we leave." She looked up at Ron. "What's wrong?"

"I'm still surprised you've been single for 5 years."

"Why is that so surprising?" Felicity asked.

"Because you are gorgeous." Ron turned red as soon as the words left his mouth. Idiot!

Felicity gave a nervous laugh. "Ron, you shouldn't play like that. Embarrassing girls like that."

Ron was now confused. Had she never seen herself in a mirror? "I'm not play…."

"Can you grab this side and we will be off." Felicity kept her eyes hidden, scared to even look at him.

Ron felt sad for her, not realizing how beautiful she actually was, like no one had ever told her.
