It was a rainy morning. Tigerstar was ordering two of my warriors to go on patrol. My heart filled with sorrow.

It's my fault. I brought them into this. I thought with grief.

My clan was falling apart. RiverClan was falling apart. All the cats agreed with Tigerstar for him to join his almighty TigerClan, when we can rule the forest and never go hungry again. With BloodClan on our side we would be invincible. But now, it feels like everything is gone…

Tigerstar. The cat I loved, stalked up to me. His strong shoulders piling up as he handsomely walked. His bright amber eyes gleaming and aiming right towards me. He was beautiful. I tried to look as graceful as I could taking a few strides toward him with dainty paws, then sitting carefully and wrapping my tail around my spotted golden paws.

"Leopardstar." He greeted with his heated voice, but it also gave me a chill down my spine.

"Tigerstar." I mewed back.

"I just sent your", he stopped himself, "The Clan's warriors on patrol. Make sure they don't catch fish. Only those flea-brains think that slimy slop is delicious." The dark leader said in sort of a snarled tone.

"I'm sure they know what they're doing if they take orders from you." I replied to Tigerstar, circling around him then plopping down again, "Do you think we need a Clan Meeting about it?" I teased.

He didn't seem amused.

"Of course not!" he growled softly, then a touch of warmth came into his eyes.

"Im-I'm sorry Leaoprdstar. I just thought this would be more stronger of a Clan, I just guess I don't know what to do."

My eyes boggled. I was completely surprised by his tone, the way he acted so gentle.

"But I mustn't show my weakness. I need your help to make this Clan work. We are both leaders, after all." He said it a bit awkwardly.

"How about tonight, we have a Clan meeting?" I suggested, "BloodClan will be arriving."

I don't know why, but then I all of a sudden thought about Bramblepaw. He was so young, and I would feel terrible if I heard about my father in nursery tales, in a bad way. Then I looked at Tigerstar. He looked angry. He always looked angry. He murdered several cats. And, he had massive claws. It would be easy to rip a cat's throat out with them. Then I panicked. With his terrible actions and short temper, he could kill one of his "Clanmates" easily. My Clanmates. Being a loving leader like I was, I looked Tigerstar in the eyes, fearless. What was I doing!

"Damn it,Tigerstar! I know you've done terrible things to get where you are know. But cats don't respect you, they fear you. So what I am saying is…stay away from RiverClan, my Clanmates."

I didn't want to see his reaction, so I whisked away as fast as I could.

My heart was beating so loud, you could hear it rabbit-lengths away.

But I still loved him.
