I whip around in fright. Had I been discovered? A large human male was standing there. His main features were his balding head of hair and the glasses which covered his glittering eyes. He glared at me before bursting into laughter. "Gotcha! Seriously, Amit, you gonna help us finish up here so we can burn this ship? We've still got a small group of Yeerks in the main pool." I blink in confusion, before hurriedly making my hosts eyes smile in that Andalite way. I nod, a human gesture Andalites had picked up from the humans after the war. «Sure, Jay, I'll be there.» I give my newly acquired tail a flick in the equivalent of a cocky grin/nod. He nods and heads toward the pool room. I quickly turn towards the direction of the control bridge and flat out run.

I reach there soon, luckily passing almost no guards. I seal the door to the bridge and run my fourteen new - and very nimble - fingers across the controls. The outer doors to the ship seal and I power the engines. I can hear the thought speak yells from outside the ship- stuff like «Power down!» & «What are you doing?!». I try and ignore the growing panic, but my host wasn't letting me, fighting my control & taunting me. «Can't you just... Stop!?» I yell at her. She mentally grins and does a innocent shrug. «Nope.» The ship is now making its way steadily into space through the atmosphere, but I can see in the view screen I called up that the Andalites have already figured it out and are giving chase in their fighters. A banging on the door interrupts my concentration. "Amit! What are you doing? Put this ship on the ground!" I set auto pilot for a far away sect of space and open the door. Jay is standing there, out of breathe. "Amit... what-" he is cut off as I whip my tail around an slam the flat against his head. He crumples. «Jay?!» my host yells in my head. It actually breaks through into real thought speak before I clamp down on my control again.

Jay and Amit were old friends, ever since Amit had starved the Yeerk out of Jays head & Jay had covered for Amit whenever she was late or did something wrong. «Maybe something more?» I prodded. If she could have blushed, she would have. «No! If course not. I am an Andalite. He is a human.» she stuttered in my mind, embarrassed. I laugh. «State the obvious all you want, Andalite.» I say as I drag him towards the pool room. «It doesn't change the facts- your relationship with said human is as obvious as a Yeerk with the fugue.» We have reached the pool and I lock him in a cage. «What a silly name for a human, anyway. Why would anyone name their child after a letter in the alphabet?» I snort. She sighs in my mind. I turn and clop the pier. The pool looked empty as a Hork Bajirs brain, but if I squinted I could see a few brother Yeerks swimming dejectedly around the bottom. I reach in and scoop one up at random. Almost immediately it began to squirm, but then slouched, depressed with the knowledge of its hostless future I guess. I cloppped to the cage and walked in, closing the door behind me. «What? No!» my host shrieked. «No, no, no! No!» I pressed the Yeerk to his ear an she broke down, fighting my control desperately. "Amit?" He groaned, waking up. The Yeerk slithered in. He yawned, stretching. Then froze. His expression froze. "Andalite!" I grin. «My name is Atmine 773. You?" His whole expression changed. "You have an Andalite host?" He asked. I nod. "Well, congratulations. My name is Harklin 8744. Primary." He adds. «Who else is in the pool?» I demand. "Uh... Harklin 8744 lesser. Millay 9503. Altran 6579. A few others, I suppose." «Good. Please go and alert the other Yeerks in the Pool of our escape. I'll be down in a few minutes to lock up your host.» he nods. I leave him to do that.

As I'm walking down the hallway to the bridge, I let my fingers trail on the sides. I enjoy the sensation in this body: touch, sight, sound, smell... As I enter the bridge, I see two beings there. Arguing. «What are you doing here? Who are you?» I demand. One steps forward. He seems to be made from the air itself and held the form if an elderly male human. "I'm Ellimist. This is Crayak." The other one, a cyborg eyeball on a throne, seems to grin.

I stumble backwards, but they've already transported me somewhere else. I can see the inside of my host. I could see myself in her head with my stolen stalk eyes. The two being were there. The old human male began to talk, and his voice resonated everywhere and nowhere at once. «You have a destiny, Atmine». He began. The eye interrupted in normal thought speak. «What Ellimist is saying is that you are our pawn. I trust your host knows the stories of Ellimist & Crayak?» he asks. After a quick search of her memories, it turned out she did. I nod. He continues in that sinister thought speak. «We made sure she slipped. We made sure you were there when she did. We made sure the Blade ship was accessible. You two will either conquer the galaxy- as I decree- or-» «Bring about new awareness. A new alliance». The Ellimist interrupts.

«Just do what you will. Your choice will make the future. You know what I want you to do. I have faith.»

With that parting remark from Crayak and a sinister grin. I am on the bridge again, half asleep. «We must've fainted. Weird dream.» Amit remarked. But I could tell that neither of us thought that it was a dream.

We began to head down to the Pool Room, grabbing a Shreddar on the way. It was empty of people except Jay. "I'm going now." he said. "My host's consciousness is still sleeping, so you wont need to restrain him much." I acknowledge that with a grunt, and he bends down and leaves his host. Jay crumples. I grab him with my weak Andalite arms and pull him to a cage, locking it clumsily.

"Why, who's this?" Said a voice from behind me. How had I been snuck up on again?! I twist my stalk eyes around, then freeze and turn my whole body around. It was Diesel. A friend of Jay and Amit. And he was holding a Shreddar on me.
