A/N: Once again, hello there! The second chapter of 'Answers' is finally fully-translated and available for everyone.

This is the second part of a three-part series, as you all know it. Either way, I hope you enjoy this chapter! I gave all my best to make this translation great and just as impactful and dramatic as the original story, only available in Portuguese.

Without further ado, let's get right into it.

Classes' period was over for the day, and the young Izuku Midoriya was free from his school, at least until his next classes, set to begin next day as part of his daily morning routine. Wearing his traditional black school outfit as his backpack's straps were hanging on both of his shoulders, the boy walked through his school's open gates, being one of the various students fleeing from the educational institute at that moment. Voices could be heard from everywhere, coming from the discussions of the various topics that certain groups of friends were talking about. Midoriya wasn't part of any of these discussions, nor he bothered to listen to any of them. He kept looking straight to the ground, carrying a tired look on his eyes, an outcome of certain events.

Being part of a school where everyone has some kind of quirk except for you would never be a positive situation, and no circumstances could change that. In a society where 90% of the population bears their own special quirk, the 'quirkless people' were the ones that suffered from the biased view that they are not part of the modern society, as if they were strange creatures that had nothing special. Not only Izuku suffered from that biased thought and had no friends due to that, but he also faced the turmoil caused by one of his classmates every day, one that utilized threats and insults to achieve such end. Nevertheless, Izuku always managed to overcome these challenges for most of the time, and have a supportable daily routine at school. It wasn't so important for him. After all, the boy's dream was to become a superhero, so he should be used to problematic situations.

With those things in mind, everyone could come to the conclusion that Midoriya's day at school wasn't what caused his tiredness. The true responsible for that were actually the occurrences of yesterday.

"Hey, weirdo! Pay attention for where you're going!" A taxi driver shouted alongside his car's horn when he almost ran over Midoriya, as he walked without paying attention to his surroundings. The boy's gigantic-yet-messy mind was focused on the simultaneous thoughts he had in his head, taking away his awareness from real life.

As the young student fought against some negative thoughts, he also tried to resist the sleepiness that had not abandoned him since he woke up. The green haired boy found trouble that stopped him from sleeping, causing an impossibility for him to rest well at that night. He couldn't forget the discussion he had with his mother since he felt like he was the responsible for letting that situation happen. Due to how it was his fault, Izuku got emotionally affected by it, although this feeling wasn't limited to this particular situation. Since he woke up, Izuku barely talked with his mother. He felt ashamed of himself, especially after noting that Inko still expressed dissatisfaction and sadness, just like yesterday. Now, Izuku did not know if he should tell the truth for his mother or not. Should he finally open up about his mysterious trainings, his master, and about the quirk that he had not truly developed it yet?

Izuku couldn't simply start getting home later than usual due to his trainings without a convincing explanation for his mother. He had no choice but to tell half-a-truth by altering an important aspect of it. Yes, Midoriya was training for the U.A's exam for the entire afternoon, just like he said; however, he wasn't doing that to 'strengthen his quirk', but to strengthen his body. The boy had to be ready to receive a quirk, another thing that he had told his mother: he would be the next one to manage his powers.

After a long, long walk, Izuku Midoriya finally arrived at his destination: a soulless beach that had once been a charming place, but was ruined by the extreme pollution nowadays. Behind the giant quantity of trash lying around the ambient, a beautiful view of the contrast between the ocean and the horizon could be found. Unfortunately, the same extravagant ocean was also responsible for bringing all the trash thrown into it for the beach. As time passed, the municipal beach of Takoba had become home for all the trash that belonged to the ocean. No one from the city took the first step and started cleaning the beach, until Izuku Midoriya took the first step. Carrying all the objects laying around for other places daily, the boy was slowly bringing back the ambient that had once been an attraction for people looking for somewhere eye-catching to hang out. This practice was the training that Midoriya was having, and he did not do that difficult task alone.

Near a dirty and big refrigerator stood a tall and muscular man with a short blond hair that had distinct tufts sticking up above his head, wearing a white t-shirt and olive green jeans. With an enormous smile on his face, he gazed at Midoriya as he entered the junkyard they currently found themselves in. He quickly waved his left hand, welcoming the young man to the beach.

"You have finally arrived, young Midoriya! Are you ready for another day of the operation… erm… I… I don't think I gave a name to this training! Haha!" The man had just said something simple, but that was just the enough to bring a glow to Izuku's eyes, along with a small chuckle.

"Heheh… you bet I am, All Might."

The man who was training Izuku Midoriya was no one other than his idol, the number-one hero and the Symbol of Peace, All Might. He was not only his tutor in the task to clear the entire municipal beach until U.A's exam, but he would also be the one to give Midoriya the quirk he would receive at the end of the training, one that All Might himself carried: the One For All, passed from various heroes to the ones that most deserved it, such as people with a pure heart, that was brighter than what they could ever imagine; A heart that Izuku demonstrated he had when he saved his class colleague months ago in an impulsive-yet-heroic act, when no one else did that. Seeing how Izuku Midoriya almost sacrificed himself to help someone who needed support even though he did not have a quirk was enough to convince All Might of one thing: he needed to train the boy and pass the torch to him, so he could become the new Symbol of Peace. It was the right time for that. After all, his days as a super-hero were coming to an end.

The green haired boy did not waste much time, and went straight to a small, rusty and wheel-less tow truck. As he got near the broken vehicle, Izuku took his backpack out of his back and opened it, grabbing two ropes from it before throwing his backpack somewhere near All Might. Afterwards, the boy spent some time wrapping the truck with those ropes, and then he wrapped their ends on his shoulders. The broken vehicle would be the first thing that the young Midoriya would try to remove from the location before progressing to other objects there, worrying All Might quite a bit. The boy wasn't that strong yet, and if he did things that crossed his body's limits he could get hurt. Besides, why would he start his training for the day with something that hard to move? Izuku never started his beach cleaning task the hard way; instead, he always started with the simplest things until getting to harder ones. Those sudden changes of habit lead to All Might expressing his concerns.

"Midoriya… you don't need to start with something that heavy." The hero said, expressing his worries, but still not letting go of his traditional smile.

"I... am… fine, All Might!" Izuku cried as he was not in a 'fine' situation.

"No, you're not."

"I-I am!" The boy insisted, as he painfully dragged the truck, making a small progress as each second passed.

All Might sighed, and walked towards the boy. He was clearly exaggerating in his training today, for a reason he did not know. The man took his hand to the boy's shoulder, removing the focus he had on his task as his eyes met his idol's eyes.

"Young Midoriya, please, don't overwork." The number one hero gave his warning, with sincerity.

The man's sincerity was responded with a confident smile coming from his apprentice.

"Don't worry, All Might. I'm being careful, and I know what I'm doing." Izuku proclaimed, trying to imitate his trainer's honesty.

"Are you sure about that?"

"I… I am sure of that!"

"Are you really sure about that?"

"Y-Yeah…"

"Are you really, really sure about that?"

"… I don't know." The honesty in the boy's voice was no longer present, as it vanished along with his confident smile.

"Look… just be careful, alright? You have to be stronger in order to carry the power of the One For All, but don't break your bones or something similar before that happens." Unlike the boy, All Might was still holding on to his sincerity and his smile, and was trying to lighten up the situation a little bit, as well.

"Heh… I'll never break a bone, and you know that, All Might." With these words said, Izuku's lips formed a little smirk.

As the conversation ended, All Might took some steps back, and let the young Midoriya proceed with his training. Standing near the same refrigerator as before, the Symbol of Peace kept observing the green haired boy as he did all he could to take out the tow truck from the beach. However, even with Izuku's reassurance that everything was going to be fine, All Might's concerns weren't gone.

Midoriya was an intelligent kid with lots of motivations, and he was the kind of person that would never give up as long as a light of hope continued shining in his horizon. His efforts at almost everything were admirable and inspiring, and there was no doubt that he was the right person to carry on All Might's legacy. Nevertheless, he still had lot to worry about the boy's future. These concerns weren't new because the hero had them since Izuku's training started; the Symbol of Peace was afraid that Midoriya wasn't ready to be a hero, or that he somehow got into a dark and cruel path, among other things. Right now, All Might's biggest concern with the boy was the possibility that something happened with his apprentice, affecting him to the point that he's taking his training quite differently today. Besides, the boy was quieter than usual today, although he still kept showing his habitual smile that always defined his positive state, as if he was hiding something that was the contrary of that state.

Obviously, All Might could not let this continue. Otherwise, Izuku would not only get hurt soon enough if he did not stop with that kind of intensive training for the next few days, but he would probably also be continuously affected by whatever happened to him. However, the hero wasn't entirely sure if these suspicions were nothing more than his increasing concerns, as he had no idea if what he was thinking was in fact happening or not. The Symbol of Peace only had one idea: he should pay attention on Izuku's acts until he finishes his training for the day. It was the only way he could know if his suspicions were right or not. If All Might was right, he already knew what he should with the boy. If not, then he'd just need to make the young Midoriya slow down with his trainings.

Either way, only time would tell All Might if his concerns were just plain foolishness or not.

To be continued…

A/N: And that's it for the second part of 'Answers'! This chapter may have been quite shorter than the first one, but trust me, it's all building up to an emotional conclusion, which is arriving in the next chapter, out next weekend!

Either way, I hope you liked this chapter! Thank you for reading.
