Hey, it's the author.

I don't own artemis fowl.

*holds back sob*

FOALY POV

See, a few years ago, I was researching weird fairy

sicknesses, and I found one that had all the same symptoms

that holly had been having. It was called loves ailness. It

was a sickness that was supposedly started by the greek

goddess Aphrodite. The only cure is true loves kiss. Man,

holly would have my head if she wasn't unconscious. The

problem was that there was a deadline. If she wasn't kissed

by her true love by midnight, (wow, how cliché!) she

would die. Now the problem was to figure out who her true love is.

I need to call Artemis

Artemis POV

I was eating lunch when I got foaly's phone call.

"um, artemis?" foaly said.

"what's the problem foaly? You sound nervous!" I said.

"yeah, don't mean to worry you, but holly has a illness that could kill her and the only way to cure it is by getting true loves kiss and I think her true love is you so can you come down and kiss her before we lose her forever?"

He said this all in one breath.

"oh yeah, sure foaly…." I said, but then I realized what he said.

I choked on my sandwich and gagged.

"WHAT!!!!" I screamed.

"great, see you soon, bye!" he said, and hung up.

After thinking about it, I decided to go to haven, just to see what he was talking about.

HOSPITAL, HAVEN

Oh. My. gosh

He was serious. Holly was on the hospital bed, pale as a ghost.

The last time I was this scared was when I watching butler die.

Just then, foaly walked in.

"well, come on, arty, kiss her!" he said, smirking.

"could I at least have some privacy?" I asked.

"Wha? Oh, yeah, sure. Goodbye, lovebirds!?"

Then he walked out, chuckling.

I took a deep breath, and walked over to her bed. I sat down beside her, slowly leaned in, and our lips connected

HOLLY POV

As soon as our lips connected, I felt a jolt of electricity,

And I knew I was back.

My hands sub-consciously wrapped around his neck, and his slipped around my waist, pulling me closer.

Suddenly, I felt us rise into of the air.

I looked down, shocked.

We were 10 feet above the floor, surrounded in a blue glow.

Foaly was just staring at us through the door, a grin plastered onto his face.

I've always hated fairy-tale, true love kiss stuff.

Until now.

The end! Hoped you liked it! constructive criticism is welcome.
