Hiya! Thank you so much for the support I've received so far, it means so much you don't even know! I forgot to mention, BP was an all boys school, with the exception of.. one student ;) Here's the next chapter, I hope it doesn't disappoint! Enjoy and review!
The dorm room was bland, the walls grey, the furniture black and the carpet white. The bedsheets, one set dark green the other prune, provided the only splashes of colour. It hurt to look at, the dorms at BP had at least tried to be brighter, livelier but here it was like they wanted it to feel like a prison. Drew almost felt bad for the girls that went here. Almost. Then again at least they got to keep their school, their lives.
Drew was far too bitter he surmised.
After they finished unpacking the few belonging they had which was really only some regular clothes and a laptop each, they had lain down, stared at the ceiling and waited for their friends to free them from their silent misery. Both were close to kicking themselves at how pathetic they were being. Honestly though the entire experience was like being punched in the gut. It hurt, it came as a fast shock and it left them breathless. They couldn't come to terms with it no matter how much they tried.
A knock at the door broke them from their thoughts. The door slammed open and Ash stood at the door, grinning from ear to ear. Gary was behind him but he was in a much darker mood than his best friend. Drew sat up but Paul just growled. 'Arceus, what the hell do you want. If its anything but to tell me this place is burning to the ground I will kill you.'
Ash did not cringe as most would when facing the terror that was an angry Paul. Instead he bounded into the room and grabbed the purple haired boy by the arm. 'Come on Paulie, we got Registration, first day of school so hurry uuuuup!'
Drew gave him a confused look as Paul tackled him in a fit of rage. Gary smirked. 'He found out the mysterious Misty was in our class so we are apparently going to have to turn up 20 minutes early to make sure we get there before her.'
Drew chuckled 'seriously Ash? Where's the logic in that?' Paul finally let up on beating Ash and the black haired boy slid out from below his friend, springing to his feet.
'Okay so envision this. Misty walks in, nonchalant, unsuspecting. And I'm sitting there, looking bored. She stops, and her mouth drops open. I smirk and say' he flipped his hair and dropped his voice a few octaves '"Hey Mist. Did you miss me?"' his voice returned to its usual pitch 'And she like, falls into my arms.' His eyes shone at his own idea. Drew and Gary shared a look before they burst into hysterical laughter.
'Oh, Ash' Drew sang in a high pitched voice 'oh Ash yes I missed you sooo much!' Gary was gasping for air and even Paul let out a little chuckle.
'Lets go then' Paul said with a smirk.
All three of his best friends looked at him, shocked into silence. 'W-What?' Gary asked.
'I said lets go. Ash has got a girl to catch.'
They all laughed together. The pain of having to be here subsided to the feeling of being together with their best friends. They would survive.
The classroom was empty besides a tall, blonde woman writing on the board. She turned as the door opened and gave the boys a pointed look. 'I assume you are the students transferring into my class from Blackquill? Drew Hayden, Ash Ketchum, Paul Shinji and Gary Oak?' they nodded.
She flicked through the binder in her arms then pointed to a group table for six on the right side of the room. 'You can sit there. The increase of staff has increased the number of classes so there are only 5 other students in the class. My name is Ms. Platinum and I will be your Guidance and Registration teacher for the rest of the year.'
Drew and Paul sat facing the front of the class and Ash and Gary sat facing the door. As soon as they had settled the door opened and a girl with short strawberry blonde hair in a side ponytail and sea foam eyes jogged in. Ash lit up like a Christmas tree and waited for her to notice him. But she didn't. She looked right through him and his friends. His face fell.
'Misty, how good to see you. Have a nice summer?' Ms. Platinum smiled softly at the girl. Misty beamed back affectionately.
'Yeah it was amazing. I got in so much swimming and running practice. I just got out of the first running club meeting of the year. It was a breeze.' She bragged.
'I'm sure it was, for you.' Ms. Platinum said 'and I can see the desperation for knowledge but you'll just have to wait till everyone else is here.' Misty groaned and sat in her seat, eyes trained on the door.
A few minutes later a tiny white-blonde haired girl with large brown eyes trapped behind large black glasses walked in, her face almost buried in a book. She almost walked into Ms. Platinum's desk but was caught and stopped by the teachers arm around her waist. She looked up finally from her book and squeaked, jumping back. 'Sorry Miss!' she said frantically, her eyes growing wider if it was possible. Ms. Platinum laughed and shook her head.
'Evelyn its quite alright, what are you reading that has you so enthralled?' she said, her eyes reflecting the obvious affection she had for the tiny girl.
'Oh its the Great Gatsby-'
'Steven got it for her!' Misty said matter of factly. Eve blushed deep red and started to stutter out refusals but Ms. Platinum nodded knowingly.
'I assumed so, tell me where did Mr. Stone take you on holiday?' Eve opened her mouth to deny once again but a smooth voice cut in.
'I took her to Italy. It was fantastic, loved it.' A silver haired, silver eyed, young man leaned on the door frame, smirking and nodding. Eve gasped and shook her head frantically.
'Steven shu-'
'There's no point in lying. They all know and no one gives a crap, so stop denying it and brag that your awesome boyfriend took you for a fortnight in Italy. I've got to go start my class so be good.' He said, pulling her into his chest and kissing her head. She nodded, pecked him sweetly on the cheek and went to sit down. Steven winked and walked out.
A girl with long blue hair and dark blue eyes came running in, squealing loudly and pounced on Eve. 'OMG! You guys are so FREAKING CUTE! My OTP is cannon AHHHHHH!' Paul winced and covered his ears.
'Troublesome' he muttered under his breathe. Not quiet enough though, because the girls dark blue eyes glared at him darkly.
'WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME YOU PRUNE! YOU ARE-' Ms. Platinum put her hand over the girls mouth, the girl struggling strongly.
'Dawn! Dawn stop!'
Dawn stopped struggling and gave up. Ms. Platinum let her go and Dawn went to sit beside Misty with a sharp glare thrown over her shoulder at Paul who frowned back. The three girls talked happily until once again the door opened and a slender brown haired girl with tired green eyes walked in, when she spotted Gary she cursed softly, her shoulders tensed and she averted her eyes, sitting with her back to them.
'Leaf?' Eve questioned softly and Leafs shoulders dropped. She nodded to signal she was okay and put her head down on the desk. The guys looked questioningly at Gary whose eyes had almost fallen out of his head. He gave them a strong look that promised an explanation later on.
The bell rang to signal classes beginning but Ms. Platinum and the girls stared at the door. 'Wait for it...' Dawn said playfully. The boys gave each other confused looks.
Then there was a smash, the door opened swiftly and a light brown haired blur dove in and sat beside Eve. The girls tittered with laughter, and Ms. Platinum smirked in amusement.
'You're early May. Did your alarm go off today?'
May smiled sheepishly, her sapphire eyes lowering to her lap. Drew found himself staring at her, unable to tear his eyes off her. Ms. Platinum cleared her throat. 'Alright class, lets all introduce ourselves.'
Wow! Never written something that long before. Just couldn't stop after I started. Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed it!- Lace
