AN: I have decided to make this a multi-chapter. This and Guiding the Saviors will be my ONLY current stories. I plan to REALLY REALLY stick to it. Nothing new except one shots from time to time. I am working on Guiding the Saviors, and should have a nice chapter no later than Monday 4/22. I need a system anyhow. I have two weeks off from school next week until summer classes and plan to upload a chapter each Monday alternating stories. EX: 4/28 will be "The Day After Tomorrow", 5/5: "Guiding the Saviors" and so on. I think that works. Gives me a week. I start my new classes on the 6th and I may do every two weeks, I will definitely see once I get there.

Thank you.

This is all done in third person, and most likely wont be a first person point of view.

Also a special thanks to Anastasia91, for helping me get this going in a direction and talking it out some with me. Thank you! I really love hearing ideas and I truly try to take what you guys have in mind into consideration.

I looked into the timeline of Twilight and Bella jumped in the middle of March, the 16th, and I'm not really sure when "Tomorrow" took place, but I will follow in terms of the months, going off of SM's timeline.

I might follow Angel's timeline starting from when he gets back taking the next chapter to the episode of "The House Always Wins". I will have Lorne leave in this chapter.

Without further ado...

Chapter 2: A New World

Connor was gone for the moment and Angel never felt so conflicted. The woman he loved was somewhere lost to him, and his son hated his guts with a passion. Not his fault though. Angel wasn't surprised Holtz teachings still followed Connor. He knew that he still had a duty to L.A. and that was to save people. If they had to roam the streets looking for danger, then that's what Angel investigations would do. First though, they had a teeny tiny problem. Upstairs sat an 18 year old girl who could have visions at any moment if possible and she knew nothing about this world of the Supernatural. Angel also wondered about any family Bella may have looking for her. She didn't say much about her father. If she turned up disappearing, no one would really look in L.A...well except for the fact that this was the Cullen's cover story. So this would be the first place to look. Angel needed to talk to Bella as soon as possible about it. He didn't want any problems with a cop..again.

Angel wasn't sure what to think of Bella. She was very interesting, almost reminding him of Fred. They were two very observant females. She knew some of the supernatural, but she wouldn't understand the new world she was in now. The Powers must really need her. He'd have to make sure she knew how to fight though. Maybe she could stay at the desk for a while. Angel hummed to himself in agreement. "Penny for your thoughts?" Lorne's soft voice had Angel staring at his green friend. "Yeah. I'm just thinking about Bella. She's new, she'll have to learn the ropes. I'm just worried about if she'll have visions too and if.." Angel trailed off looking to the stairs in thought. He turned towards the desk grabbing the few papers that lied around. "She'll be sleep walking muttering some mombo jumbo?" Angel almost nodded until he realized what Lorne said. "Yeah..wait what?" Lorne pointed to the stairs as true to his word was a sleep walking Bella. She walked down the stairs perfectly as if she knew every step. Angel and Lorne rushed forward, not knowing what to expect. "1256 Westbrooke Road." An address. Bella kept repeating the address three times more. Angel grabbed Bella by the shoulders gently, hoping to not startle her. "Bella." Her name did nothing as she kept repeating the address. Angel led her to the lounge chair finally noticing something he was familiar with. Bella grasped her head in pain muttering more than an address this time. She wasn't really sure what she was seeing. Just flashes, but she knew everything going on. She could faintly hear Angel asking her what she was seeing. "A big..wait huge monster with..crab like claws and slime?" Bella felt like she was being thrust through time and out of her body. It was like a rubber band being pulled and in seconds she was back in her body with a Angel next to her and Lorne.

She flinched backward getting a look at Lorne. She could see his red eyes flash with understanding. "I'm sorry...I'm not used to..Angel?" Bella swallowed stuttering slightly, still in a daze looking to Angel for answers. "Hey. This is Lorne, a friend." He explained and Bella nodded remembering his tale of the demon. Bella stuck her hand out shakily. "Bella." She introduced giving a shaky smile. Lorne smiled kindly shaking her hand already getting a vibe from the girl. "Oh honey. The heartache will pass. No need to be scared anymore. You're under a roof with a protector." He reassured and Bella seemed to relax a bit as her body caught up with what was going on. "What happened? What am I doing down here?" She asked scooting away from them both to give herself some space. "You were sleep walking and had a vision. I need to get going. Lorne can explain things. Will you be okay here?" He asked Bella making sure she wouldn't be too freaked out with a demon such as Lorne. He could be quite intimidating but a sweetheart. "Um..yeah, go. I'm fine. So Lorne?" Angel left the pair grabbing his coat on the way out. Lorne was the only one in the building as Fred and Gunn were out having a retreat of sorts for the weekend and Wesley was back home. Angel still hasn't recovered from his betrayal either, but has tried to put differences behind him. His most trusted were becoming his enemies. Angel shook his head shaking that thought. He went through the tunnels, grateful for the distraction.

"Well I don't remember any of it per say...I remember seeing you and Angel." Lorne hummed. He wondered why she had no memory of the vision taking place. Maybe the PTB was being generous. "I'm not sure, but you've got it easier than our Cordelia did. It used to throw her for a loop. She felt everything." Bella looked saddened by the thought. "I don't remember, but I feel like I've been stabbed a few times." Bella admitted poking at her stomach. "Side effects." Lorne mumbled knowing there was something she had to experience. "Well..what do you do for Angel?" Bella asked hoping to get to know the second nicest person to her while waking. "I fight I guess. But lately I want to do more." Lorne stated excitedly, his face lighting up. "Like?" Bella asked laughing at the joy that seemed to flow through her.

"Show biz baby. I think I want to go to Las Vegas. Yeah, be a star. This sun isn't cutting it you know?" He joked and Bella chuckled nodding and then laughed. She sobered up quickly noticing a figure at the entrance. He was no older than she and looked badly beaten. She stood quickly gasping. "Oh my god, are you alright?" Lorne looked over frowning. "Connor." He stated with disdain and disappointment. Bella pursed her lips not sure what to do. According to Angel he tried to kill him. "Who are you?" He asked looking Bella over. Before Bella could speak Angel's voice floated to their ears. "None of your concern. I thought I told you to go." Angel murmured, coming from the tunnels. His face was blank and his weapon was dripping with green goo. Connor gave a dry, humorless chuckle. "Look, I'm sorry." Bella could tell the boy didn't really mean it like that. "I bet. Connor I tried to be there for you. You have to understand that not too long ago you were a baby, and I sat holding you. Back then, Angeles was a savage beast. I had no soul. I regret the many killing I did in my lifetime. I'm trying to atone for my mistakes." Angel explained. "But I can't have you here." Angel admitted. His eyes flickered to Bella who was looking between them. Connor caught the slight glance and scoffed. "It's always them over me isn't it?" Bella could catch the movement but it was till much faster as suddenly Connor had Bella by the neck, positioned that one snap could break it.

Angel tensed leaning off the wall. "Connor...let her go. This is between you and me." Bella stood still. She could feel the anger vibrate off Connor and she let out a shaky breath. "He won't kill you." Bella rasped. Bella knew nothing of these two, but she could tell from Angel that he wasn't the type to harm the people he cared for, regardless of the tension. "You don't know him." Connor snapped keeping his eyes trained on Angel. "That may be, but who would kill their son? He could've killed you the moment he saw you right?" Bella reasoned. She won't lie, she was scared and all supernaturals in the room could hear her heart rate elevate slightly.

Conner let go, looking a tad guilty. He stepped away. "I'm sorry." Bella rubbed her neck stepping away from the boy, claiming her spot next to Lorne. Angel relaxed somewhat as well and he gave Connor a look. Connor left quickly and quietly shaking his head. Angel grabbed his battle axe and started to clean it off. "Are you okay Bella?" Angel asked scanning her over. She gave a silent nod more shocked than anything.

"Well now that everything's all solved, I'm thinking about hitting the road Angel cakes." Lorne stated flashing a pearly white smile. Angel smiled sadly although happy for his friend. "Alright, where to?" Angel asked. "Las Vegas baby! I think I can host. You think so?" Bella smiled as the two had a conversation, Lorne lighting up like a Christmas tree.

Bella wasn't really sure where her room was so she decided to explore the Hotel some. She walked through the halls getting an old timey feeling from it. She touched the walls smiling faintly. It was then that she remembered her life back home. She probably had a worried sick father looking for her. She finds her way back to the lobby going for the phone. Angel glances at her momentarily but resumes his conversation with Lorne hoping to give her some semblance of privacy.

"Swan residence." Charlie's gruff voice answered. Bella breathed a sigh of relief. "Hey dad." The line went silent momentarily. "Bella?" Charlie was confused. Alice said she was dead. "Yeah, I'm sorry I haven't called...a lot has happened and I'm not sure if you would believe me if I told you." She responded. She wanted to tell the truth, she knew that her relationship would not stay the same if she kept secreccts. She could hear Charlie's sniffling. "Jesus Bells. Alice came by last night, she told me you were dead." Bella purses her lips. "No Dad, I'm not dead. I don't know why she told you that, but there are some things we need to talk about." She answered chewing on her bottom lip. "If this is about The Cullens, I know. I know everything. The boys too." Bella's brow furrowed. "You do? How? When?" Charlie took a few breath and she imagined him running a hand over his face. "Jacob turned into a large..dog..thing when Alice came by and she was fast..like really fast. I know." He sounded flustered and overwhelmed. "I know it's a lot, but there's more now, I..how do you feel about moving?" Bella's asked. She found that solution easier to be close to him and this place had plenty enough room.

Charlie was hesitant at first, but soon gave in. "It's time for me to retire anyway kiddo. I notice this is an L.A. number. I don't even want to know how you're there but I'll be on a plane next month, just give me the address." Bella nodded and holding the phone away from her ear, she tapped Angel on the shoulder. He turned raiding his brows with a small smile. "What's the address here?" She asked smiling. She noted that whoever this Cordelia woman was, she was a lucky girl. Angel wrote it down for her and Bella smiled repeating it back to Charlie. "Alright kid. Am I able to reach you this way? Your phone and everything else is here. Did you want anything special from your room? A lot of this stuff is going to junk anyhow." Bella made a list of what she wanted and told Charlie to pack lightly and that they could replenish. After hanging up, she noticed that Lorne and Angel's conversation was over and Angel was off to the side staring into nothing.

She hung up the phone and timidly walked up to Angel. It took her a moment to realize that underneath was a vampire. "I didn't ask, but I felt it better to have him near. Do you mind?" She asked, her eyes wide realizing that she should've asked first. Angel chuckled and shook his head facing her. "No. He can stay here. It depends on what you want him to know. I have no problem with him knowing what I am. How about we get you to bed, it's late and tomorrow you can meet the team." Bella nodded and followed Angel up a flight of stairs. He showed her to her room and Bella smiled in thanks taking in the bland wallpaper. She turned seeing Angel outside her door just watching her reaction. "Do you have any paint?" Bella chuckled. He nodded pointing over to a corner. She went and looked at it, satisfied with the colors presented. "So do you want to walk in or what? It's kind of weird having you stand outside the door." Bella commented.

Angel rubbed the back of his neck laughing. "Only if you invite me." Bella let out a laugh. "Wait..I really have to invite you? So cool." Bella laughed softly. "Well I invite you in." Angel walked through seconds later and looked around with her. "You really get a kick out of this don't you?" Bella nodded sitting in her bed. She finally glanced at her clothes. "So whose clothes am I wearing?" Angel leaned against the wall. "Cordelia's." He answered. "Oh..well I hope to tell her thank you tomorrow." She smiled, then frowned noticing Angel's expression. "Is everything okay?" Angel sighed. "Lorne didn't tell you. She's missing. We think to a higher plane." Bella's eyebrows raised. "Jesus I'm sorry. Is that gonna happen..to me?" Bella breathes out. Angel was quick to reassure her. "No. We won't let it happen."

Bella nodded and after a goodnight to Angel, she fell asleep, dreaming of fire and darkness.
