So here it is! The first chapter, I hope you all enjoy this book, and thanks to DogLover645 for reviewing my first chapter (That also makes you my first reviewer ever) Anyways back to the story.

Disclaimer: I don't own Wicked OR Hairspray!

Elphaba woke up to the blinding light shining through her window, she got up and walked over to open it and turned on the radio.

She got her school uniform on, did her hair, and raced downstairs singing along to the radio.

"Oh, oh, oh, woke up today, feeling the way, I always do!" She sang through the kitchen and then opened the fridge.

"Oh, oh, oh, hungry for something that I can't eat, then I hear that beat!" she sang closing the fridge with just an apple in hand.

"That rhythm of town starts calling me down, its like a message from high above!" she sang as she danced down the hall, into the lounge room. Her mother was already up and ironing clothes for her customers. Melena looked up and sighed when she saw Elphaba dancing down the hall. She walked over and gave Elphaba a kiss on the cheek, then went back to work.

"Oh, oh, oh, pulling me out to the smiles and the streets that I love!" Elphaba sang as she grabbed her school bag and ran out of the house.

"Good morning Baltimore! Everyday's like an open door! Every night is a fantasy, every sound's like a symphony." She sang as she ran down the streets of Baltimore, she opened the door of her father's Magic and joke shop and gave him a wave goodbye then closed the door and continued walking to the bus stop.

"Good morning baltimore! And someday when I take to the floor, the world's gonna wake up and see! Baltimore and me!" Elphaba sang. She danced around the streets, no one seemed to care.

"Oh, oh, oh, look at my hair, what 'do' can compare with mine today?!" she sang to her reflection in a shop window, then she turned around and danced down the streets again.

"Oh, oh, oh, I've got my hairspray and radio, Im ready to go!"

"The rats on the street, all dance around my feet! They seem to say Elphie its up to you!" she said pulling a few bread crumbs from her bag and throwing them out for a few rats that where on the sidewalk.

"So, oh, oh, don't hold me back cause today all my dreams will come true!"

"Good morning baltimore! Theres the flasher who lives next door!" She pointed out, he waved at her and walked down the street again, then flashed a group of woman, they looked mortified.

"There's the bum on his bar room stool!" she waved to a man who looked very tipsy he slowly waved back then passed out on the counter of the pub. She shrugged.

"They wish me luck on my way to school!" she sang merrily skipping down the streets.

"Good morning Baltimore! And someday when I take to the floor, the worlds gonna wake up and see! Baltimore and me!" she belted out. She saw a poster of the Corney Collins show and ran over. She could see Corney with all 20 of the dancers behind him. Oh how much she wanted to be a part of it!

"I know every step, I know every song! I know theres a place where I belong." she sang touching the poster, she ripped it off of the wall and stuck it in her bag. She kept walking until she saw the studio in the distance.

"I see all those party lights shining ahead! So someone invite me before I drop dead!" She begged no one in particular.

"So, oh, oh, give me a chance! cause when I start to dance Im a movie star!" she sang dancing along to her voice.

"Oh, oh, oh, something inside of me makes me move! When I hear that groove!"

"My Ma tells me 'No!' but my feet tell me 'GO!' Its like a drummer inside my heart!" she stopped for a few seconds for a short dance break.

"So, oh, oh, don't make me wait one more moment for my life to start!" she sang holding the last note for a while.

"I love you Baltimore! Everyday's like an open door!" she sang her heart out.

"Every night is a fantasy! Every sound's like a symphony!" she sang doing her own dance moves that she had made up.

"And I promise Baltimore! That someday when I take to the floor the worlds gonna wake up and see... gonna wake up and see..." She sang building up her voice.

"Baltimore and me! Baltimore and me... Baltimore... and... ME!" she sang every last word. She turned around and got onto her bus smiling widely, she had the perfect dream, and as soon as there was an opening on the show she would go for it!

I really liked this one! Good morning Baltimore is one of my favourite songs from hairspray! but then again every song is amazing! If you haven't heard this song I suggest you listen to it after you read this to understand the song more. And if you Have heard this song before i suggest that you listen to it again to get a feel of it again. I listen to this soundtrack every day seeing as though I'm in Hairspray in a month XD but I still listened to the song while I wrote this to get a feel of how she was feeling. (I hope thats not weird) Aaaaaannnyyywaaayyysssss...

Until next time
