Peter shook his head to try and clear his thoughts, this was not right, was it? Negotiating with a Dominatrix by offering Neal for information? Something just wasn't adding up. Oh yeah, this wasn't moral or legal in any way!

"No! What in the hell, what are you thinking?" He stood up and leaned in close, eyeballing the other agents nervously. He held his finger up for emphasis, raising his eyebrows. He kept his voice low and urgent. "I can't just trade favors with you, this is not a negotiation Mistress Anastasia!"

Neal grinned at the formality. "See I knew you'd come around." After the warning look he got he quickly turned away, smiling to no one in particular.

"Actually it is legal, agent Burke was it?" He blinked for a second, when did she hear his name? "As long as we abide by the rules of this establishment it's perfectly fine. A few papers need signing and some practices clarified but other then that, on my end, we're ok. Just remember, you need me and I'm offering you everything at no expense to yourself. Just tell me we have an agreement, agent Burke, or I don't know what I'll do." Anastasia turned back to the adorably innocent looking young man at her hip and straightened his tie for him, running her eyes discreetly up and down his body as she did so.

Neal couldn't be more pleased with himself.

Peter stared off into space for a second, trying to ignore the pair, and scrubbed his face with his hand. What was he getting himself into? Or rather, what was Neal getting himself into? He mustn't know what they did here or he would be running from her. But he was a smart kid, maybe Peter should let him get into a mess that he wasn't saved from. A small smile tugged at the corner of the agent's mouth. This could be good.

"Alright, fine. But just one night! And the next morning we'll come to collect you, Anastasia, and bring you down to the precinct for questioning which you will enthusiastically participate in. Do we have an understanding?" Peter held his hand out and tried to look serious while Neal beamed out of the corner of his eye.

"Yes, Agent Burke, I believe we do." She shook on it and the deal was sealed. Anastasia turned to Neal and pouted up at him. "I guess I'll have to wait to see you, but it wont be too long. Dress nicely, I love the suit." She slipped him a business card and then she took her leave.

Neal pocketed the card without so much as a glance and stared after her until she was completely out of sight then he elbowed Peter. "Hate to see her go but love to watch her leave, right?"

Peter rolled his eyes at him. "Real tactful, guy, classy." He stalked off, done with the deal and done with his smooth criminal. When Neal caught up with him he did growl out some reminders though.

"Make sure you stay within your 2 miles."

"Yes Peter."

"And you at least need to have a recorder on you, in case she says something incriminating or just something important that you might not catch at the time."

"Yes Peter."

"And Neal,"

Neal raised his eyebrows, waiting for him to continue.

"don't get carried away."

Neal smiled brilliantly, "Oh Peter, I thought you knew me better." At that he turned smartly on his heel and sauntered off, throwing up his hand in a brief wave as he disappeared.
