"So how did Sasuke take the news?" My mother asked sweetly over the phone as I paid for the groceries.

"Don't know." I walked out of the store. "I really don't care anymore." Pressing the button for the trunk it popped open.

"Honey, I know it's hard that he's not around much, but understand that he's just trying to make a profit so you can live a good life." I loved my mother and all, but couldn't she be a little more supportive of me?

"I don't know. I kind of avoided it." I admitted.

"Honey, I don't thing he's cheating on you anymore. Naruto confronted him about it the other day." My mom sounded really defensive about Sasuke lately. Wasn't she my mother?

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Mom I have to let you go. I can't drive and talk." I clicked my phone shut and slammed the trunk to the my cerulean blue car. Sasuke should be home by now. I hadn't seen him last night or this morning either.

"Hey." I felt strong arms encircle my waist as I reached up to put the cereal away. "I want to talk to you." He kissed up and down my neck.

"About what?" I wasn't sure I wanted him to admit he was cheating on me or whatever it was he wanted to talk to me about.

"I…slept with my secretary." He whispered quietly. I closed my eyes. "Only twice though, and I fired her yesterday. I'm sorry." His grip on my waist tightened slightly. "I wanted to tell you personally, and…I hope you can forgive me. I promise it'll never happen again."

He was rambling—which he only did when he was nervous, and that wasn't often. "I know." I stated and leaned back against him. "I caught you once."

"You did?" he sounded panicked. "Why didn't you confront me? Yell at me…why?" he turned me around to face him.

"Sassy, I love you more than anything. If I brought it up we'd have probably fought about it." I cupped his cheek. "We do tend to argue about most things." I pecked his lips. "Besides, I think I'll be abl to keep tabs on you from now on."

"How?" He was a little nervous—which was kind of cute.

"Let me become your secretary." I said. "I'm bored doing nothing all day. Well…writing can only happen so often. I need something else to do."

"So…you can start in two weeks…I had kind of planned a vacation." He smiled softly. "If you don't mind."

"Not at all." I grinned and I pushed his shirt up. Yes…I think I could forgive him…
