Inuyasha peered over the counter, waiting for the perfect moment. He raised his hand slowly to the counter, his hand going straight to the cupcakes. He kept sneaking a look at Kagome, making sure she wasn't watching. As soon as he almost had the cupcake, Kagome smacked his hand.
Kagome glared at him, and pulled the tray of cupcakes away.
"No," she said firmly.
He gave her the puppy dog eyes, which forced her to look at a nearby flower Inuyasha had gone out and picked for her.
"Inuyasha, you know Rin is having a bake sale at school, and Sesshomaru can't cook to save his life. They asked me personally to make these and you are not going to have any," she mumbled through gritted teeth.
Kagome smiled behind the table adorned with sweets and treats of all kinds, handing someone for mint chocolate chip cookies.
"Have a nice day," she beamed, for what seemed to be the upteenth in less than an hour.
"Can I have one now," Inuyasha whined, continuously reaching to take a cookie.
"When you can give me 25 cents, then yes you may," Kagome growled. She had dealt with Inuyasha all day and all night for the past week and they still couldn't figure out why he was small. She had even contemplated that he ate her special vitamins, but brushed the thought aside when she remembered he didn't know where they were.
A/N: Oh mu god, thank you my first two reviewers! I love you both, you both will have a chapter dedicated to you :3 This one, however, is dedicated to my late grandma. This is an actual memory form when I was a little kid and she baked cupcakes for the bake sale that occurred. I love you Granny :)
