Wow guys! There was a ridiculously great response from this fic! I'm so glad you all like it. I do have things planned for this fic so hopefully you like it. Also thank you for all those who came from my other fics too I seee you and I love you guys loads. Let me know what you think of the chapter!

It started on Tuesday morning. And like every other Tuesday morning, Chloe had dragged Beca out of bed an extra half an hour early to go get some coffee before class. Beca was grateful in a way because it would mean she'd get coffee before having to sit through her lectures but she would have much rather obtain coffee in a way that required much less effort.

"Tell me again why we couldn't just tell the others that we're fake dating. You saw their faces. If they find out we lied to them they'd neuter us. I'm pretty sure Amy is going to man a parade for us." Chloe unlooped their arms and opened the door of the café for them.

"Because we have to be believable. If our closest friends can't believe we are together, how would anyone else believe it? If word got out we weren't actually together, not only would Sebastian hold it over my head for a million years he would also try to use it as a ploy to get me to date him. How? I do not know but I know him all too well."

"Well if you insist." Beca let Chloe step out in front of them to order their coffees. Chloe had a certain charm with people that often got them discounts with the baristas.

"Hey there." The girl's smile beamed at the guy standing behind the counter. His eyes perked with interest. She leaned forward slightly and toyed with the ends of her hair right near the opening of her button up. She knew exactly what she was doing. Beca smirked with intrigue. That sucker.

"Can I please get a long black with 2 sugars and a French vanilla latte with soy milk?" Before she could finish the final touch of her spell so to speak with a hair flick Sebastian called out to her from the doorway.

"Hey Chloe. What a fine morning it is." He approached the pair and scanned Beca over. "Nice to see you with your… girlfriend again." Chloe looked at the barista and she could tell the spell had worn off. Beca mustered as much energy and charm as she could and slipped between Chloe's arm. Her arm rested on the other girl's waist and she brushed her finger along Chloe's jawline directing her attention towards herself.

"It is quite the fine morning indeed." She gave Chloe a smirk and winked at the barista. As much as the classic straight guy stereotype sickened her to death she couldn't help but try to use it to her advantage. Guys love lesbians. Besides if Chloe had lost her discount she'd never hear the end of it. So really it was for her own benefit. She could see the mental cogs running in the barista's head. Eventually he got there he grinned smugly and spoke.

"That'll be $5.50. I'll be sure to leave you a special something." He winked and left the three of them standing there. Beca was mentally chucking up her non-existent breakfast because that wink made her feel filthy though Sebastian's next comment certainly didn't help.

"I see that you've had an interesting start to the day Chloe. I could always double that fun." He smirked.

"Actually we are going to have to decline that offer. Besides Beca is more than enough for me, in every which way." She winked, pulling her closer. Beca blushed furiously.

"You're not too bad yourself Beale." She gave her back a playful nudge. Their eyes met and Beca couldn't help but stare into her blue eyes. She never noticed how piercingly blue they were. Like the ocean, deep enough for her to dive in. She had forgotten Sebastian was there for a moment until he cleared his throat.

"Right." Chloe straightened up again after being equally distracted by Beca. "Well it was nice seeing you again Sebastian. Hopefully we'll see you again." They walked to the other side of the counter and soon enough their coffees were ready. Hand in hand they walked outside together and Chloe was edge. It was not from the caffeine.

"Why did he have to be there? Honestly. I can't believe we almost lost that stupid discount and then had to parade our relationship just to secure it. Some people are sick."

"Well I mean it is the only good coffee place near campus Chlo. You can't blame him from wanting coffee."

"Are you defending him?" She gasped a little dramatically.

"No of course not. Never milady." Beca bowed sarcastically.

"Good." She laughed and pulled the girl under her arm, resting along her shoulders. After all they were publicly dating now.

Beca had spent most of the day holding Chloe's hand. She'd meet her after her class for lunch or to bring her some much needed coffee during her breaks. If she was being honest, Beca didn't particularly mind finding the redhead's fingers between hers. It was nice to have that level of physical contact with someone after Jesse, not that she lacked all that much with Chloe by her side. But it almost made her miss the little touches shared in a relationship. They walked into the only class they had together when it happened again. Sebastian sat in one of the chairs in the circle of their music theory room. The two seats that remained together were beside said person. Chloe groaned under her breathe and Beca pulled her closer to whispered quietly, faces inches apart.

"It's ok Chlo. You got me ok." She touched her cheek and her blue eyes met her own stormy ones. Beca saw comfort wash over the fear in her eyes and smiled. "We got this." Beca gave Chloe's hand a light tug before leading them to the chair next to Sebastian. She put herself in between the two of them. Chloe needed more saving than she did.

"Hey ladies." He tilted his head with little effort from his slouched position to give a slight nod to Beca and Chloe.

"Sebastian." Was the only acknowledgement he got from Beca. Chloe on the other hand didn't say a word. Instead gave him a strained smile.

"So I asked around a little and apparently some people didn't even know you were together."

"It's none of their business. They don't need to know if we're together or not."

"Oh I know but it's just curious… How long have you guys been together for?"

"It was pretty recent actually."

"But you guys have known each other for a while though right? What changed?"

"We don't need to answer any of your nosey questions." Beca was getting annoyed at this point. Chloe's hand gripped tighter around hers.

"Oohh someone is getting a little defensive. I'd think someone in a relationship with the ever so riveting Chloe Beale would be able to tell me why they are in a relationship with her." He grinned like the Cheshire cat. Wide and smug. Beca took a deep breath and sighed. Go big or go home.

"It's none of your business but it took this long for us to be together because I had my head stuck up my ass for too long to realise that I should've been dating her rather than my ex the whole time. Being around him felt like a chore and being around Chloe felt like home. So yeah. It took us a while but we worked it out eventually. Now we are here. And happy." She looked Chloe in the eyes. It almost felt like it wasn't much of a lie. Maybe it wasn't. Chloe's eyes were searching. What for Beca didn't know. But she couldn't stop giving Beca this look. Like she was going to wrap her up tightly and never let go. She gave her a smile. Her look said I told you. Together. Chloe brushed her thumb along Beca's cheek before she kissed it. Beca could feel the heat rising in her cheeks, particularly when Chloe kept looking at her as she tucked a strand of hair back against her hairline. Sebastian definitely shut up after that.

A few weeks into the semester and it got better. Being in a fake relationship with Chloe felt like second nature to her at this point. She didn't even need to think about resting her head on Chloe's shoulder or lacing their fingers together anymore because it was just their new normal. It was another one of Chloe's favourite days of the year, audition day. Chloe was ecstatic. She practically skipped to the auditorium, dragging Beca behind her. Beca was surprised that her arm didn't fall off by the time they got there. The Bellas being the reining Champions sat near the front of the stage. Beca and Jesse were still pretty friendly so of course trash talk ensued across the aisles.

"Hope you guys can find a bass in the sea ladies." He called out knowing that the group struggled with the their bass lines. Chloe could only do so much with her screwed up vocal chords. It didn't matter anyway they still beat the Trebles every time.

"Hope you can read the name on the Championship cup because I'm pretty sure it doesn't say asshats."

"Then how'd you get the trophy?"

"I spent all that spare time I had after dumping you to practice." The acapella groups joined in a united "ooooo" and it was clear that Beca had won the battle of wits for the day.

"You guys are like 5 year olds." Chloe shook her head with a slight curl in her lips.

"He started it!" Beca defended only to earn her a look from Chloe.

"An actual child."

"You better watch it Beale. Don't make me spit in your morning coffee."

"You wouldn't."

"Try me." Before Chloe could respond one of the aca-fellows came on the stage to announce the auditions. So instead Beca earned herself a little jab in the ribs.

"Oww."

"Be good and I'll kiss it better." Chloe teased and kissed her cheek. Those were becoming more frequent too. Not that it was a big deal or anything. Beca just happened to notice is all. From the few short weeks of fake dating Chloe she had a feeling that it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to date Chloe for real… Of course hypothetically. The other Bellas cooed at their small sign of affection, all bickering and snickering about what a cute couple they were.

"Guys shhhhh it's starting." Chloe sat up straight and wore a blank expression of professionalism. This was serious business. The first person stepped out onto stage and Chloe could not believe it. Beca's arm shot to the redheads, holding her down.

"This can't be aca-happening." There stood Sebastian, tall and polished wearing his complacent smile. He had just entered the war zone of Acapella and Chloe was the one aiming the missle.

Ooooooo what do you guys think will happen? honestly if Beca wasn't holding her down lol who knows what would have happened. Stay Tuned!
