Hey LouisexRaph! I'm sorry if you don't like it, I'm new to this stuff, so please be gracious. Thanks again for asking and being the first request! Here ya go:
Dana continued to wrap a soft, clean cloth around Raph's wrist, cleaning up the blood as she wrapped.
"You could've just left me behind." She mumbled.
"Why?" Raph answered. "You most likely would've been killed."
"Maybe that's a good thing." Dana said softly, with tears coming to her eyes.
"Why? Tell me how that would be better." Dana remained silent and refused to answer him. She had just lost her parents, and her baby brother. And she was only 15, just like the turtles were. Raph sighed at her refusal. "So stubborn."
"Coming from you!" Dana snapped back. She let go of the cloth and ran out of Donnie's lab, and out onto the rooftops above. Dana sat down on the edge of one of the roofs, and watched the sunset. She hugged her knees to her chest and cried. The recent battle with Karai had not gone as planned. She tried to help the others, but ended up putting Raph in danger, leaving him gravely wounded. He might not ever be the same again. Dana was devastated with what she had done, and now Leo, Mikey, and Donnie refused to speak or be around her anymore. She had even overheard them last night, saying that they should throw her out. She could remember the fight now:
Dana kicked Karai back, drawing her swords in defense.
"Ha!" Karai had laughed. "How futile, oh! But what is a child to do?" Dana had clenched her teeth in anger.
"Then come at me, fancy pants." Dana had growled, preparing for the worst. Karai had lunged as Dana had evaded swiftly, just as Leo had taught her too. Karai had lunged once more, and this time striking Dana down. Dana had lost all concentration, and fell to the ground. Karai had risen to strike, but Dana had become unaware. Raph had jumped up, and taken Karai's blow for her. Raph's scream had ignited an angry spark in Dana's heart, as she rose up and struck Karai down once and for all. She had turned around to see Donnie gently pulling Karai's sword out of Raph's throat. Raph had clenched his teeth, and groaned in pain.
Suddenly, a strong hand around Dana's waist jolted her from her thoughts. She elbowed her captor in his stomach, but her elbow hit something hard, like a, shell?
"Raph!" Dana gasped. "I thought you were supposed to be-"
"Wounded at the lair?" Raph finished. Dana nodded. "Look, I'm sorry I snapped at you."
"It's okay." Dana answered softly.
"No it's not okay." Raph answered, taking both her hands in his. "The guys told me to tell you their sorry the spoke about you that way. You need a family, and we promised to be one to you." Dana smiled warmly. Raph pulled her closer, and the next thing Dana knew, Raph's lips pressed passionately to hers. Dana wrapped her arms around his neck, and returned his kiss. Raph pulled away and showed a rare smile. "I love you Dana, I always will, no matter what happens or whatever you do." Dana smiled with happy tears in her eyes.
"You know what Raph?" She said. "I've been waiting a long, long time for you to say that."
