Collisions

Collisions are what they're made for. Seven characters, Seven quotes and Seven lines from a song. Dominique, Lucy, Lysander, James, Fred, Roxanne & Molly.

Dominique
"A witty saying proves nothing."
'But even at our swiftest speed we couldn't break from the concrete' – Brothers on a hotel bed
;;
She's always coming out with something to amuse the crowd, while she's tearing someone into pieces (w i t h o u t even realising, 'cos she's not that smart) she's always mindful of her audience. Making sure that she comes out on top, that she wins because she can't lose.
Because she's going too fast and there's no one there to catch her. She pushed everyone away years ago with carefully careless words and a reluctance to trust.
Everyone thinks she's so bad, takes everything for granted, doesn't here them when they yell. They're wrong. She's just another broken kid. Overshadowed by her {perfect} big sister and {loveable} little brother. Everyone professes that they still love her despite all her faults but she disagrees.
They never truly loved her. If they had she wouldn't be who she is today. She'd be playing Quidditch not sitting in detention, she'd be pranking not fighting, she'd be writing letters home not a journal {in some pathetic hope that she'll be remembered}. No. They never loved her. They never stopped her getting hurt in the same way as they had the others.
No one ever protected her from the big bad world.
That's why she can't lose. Her ego, her reputation. It's all she has left.

'All you are is some pathetic little kid who thinks she knows everything.' The older girl's mouth tipped upwards in a smirk as she looked down on her prey. 'D'you think your Dumbledore or something?' Dom turned around, about to depart in the opposite direction but then something unprecedented happened. The girl spoke back, "And who exactly are you? You're no one. You think you're so brilliant with your ego and your drinking. To cool for anyone. Well you aren't. You're nobody.' The expression on Dom's face was all shock.
It'd been a long time since someone had thrust the truth at her like that.
Too long.
She'd forgotten. She'd begun to think what she said, what she did proved something to people
It didn't
She'd lost.

a/n: in case anyone feels sorry for Dom she's one of my favourite characters and i always write her and Lucy as quite close friends but she's the Slytherin Weasley, the badass
