Be Mine Till the End of Time

HI my lovesss! so this is part two of I story I wrote a longgg time ago. LOL

There is just going to be one more part to this :D

She's My Princess

"Daniel, oh, Betty is going to be so surprised" Hilda said grabbing his arm enthusiastically.

Daniel grinned placing the small jewelry box in his blazer pocket. "I feel like my heart is going to burst. I can't wait to see her" he said feeling his heart pound just thinking about seeing her dazzling smile.

"Seriously D, she is going to flip when she sees this" Justin stated as he held the larger white satin box that held a sparkling diamond encrusted crown up to him.

Daniel smiled as he took the box from him.

"I hope she says yes" he said with a smile and his big hope-filled blue eyes.

"SHE WILL" Hilda and Justin stated at the same time. Daniel felt like he was on top of the world. He was also positive that she would say yes.

"Where is Mr. Suarez?" Daniel asked wondering where he went. Mr. Suarez was the first person Daniel told of his plans for Betty, especially since he asked for her father's permission to marry his youngest daughter. Mr. Suarez was completely supportive and even went above and beyond in wanting to help Daniel with everything.

"Oh, he'll be back. He said he had to run an errand" Hilda answered vaguely. Daniel looked at her curiously. "Hilda..."

"What?" she replied

"What is he up to?"

"N...nothing. What makes you think that he's up to something?" she asked back which earned a smug looking smirk from Daniel.

She stuck her tongue out at him. "Oh, shut up." She said as she slapped his shoulder playfully. Daniel laughed shaking his head. "Whatever. Just tell him to cool it. I've got things under control."

"You know how Papi is. He's just happy."

Daniel smiled "I know"

"Marc and Bobby are on the way from...the place" Justin said secretly. Daniel chuckled. "It's ok. Hilda knows" he said with a smirk.

"Aw man. I thought I was in on a secret" he said disappointed. Daniel and Hilda laughed.

"So, come tomorrow, you're going to be my brother in law?" Hilda said with a bright smile as she placed her hand on his shoulder. Daniel grinned widely "Hopefully"

"I can't believe how much you're doing for her. Well...actually, I can...it's just...wow" she said looking at him amazed. Daniel smiled placing his hand on top of hers. "She's my princess" he said feeling like the luckiest guy in the world to just even be friends with Betty. It had been a few months since he'd came to London to be with her.

He never told her that he was in love with her while he stayed with her that whole month he was here or even when he left. He somehow wanted to test time.

He didn't know why, but he figured that time wasn't an enemy, but on his side and the right time would come. And that was now.

He could tell that Betty felt something for him with all those times he was with her. He could feel the love and admiration they had for each other deepen the more he was with her. He was confident that he was her prince.

Hilda and Justin shared happy smiles. "We can't wait" Hilda said hugging him. He smiled.

"As soon as Marc, Bobby and your father gets here we'll head out" he said starting to feel his pulse quicken again.

Hilda placed her hand on his shoulder. "She loves you. I could see how she always looked at you. There was always this spark in her eyes whenever she spoke about you or talked to you or looked at you. Ever since you came into her life it's always 'Daniel this, Daniel that, Daniel, Daniel, Daniel" she said with a laugh.

Daniel smiled. "I could see how you looked at her. You always did things for Betty...even the small things you did for her, just being there for her. You're a good friend. I'm happy that she found you" she said rubbing his shoulder.

Daniel placed his hand on top of hers. "Thanks Hilda. I'm just happy that you all think I'm somewhat decent enough for Betty."

"You're a great guy"

"Thanks" he said with a grin. Hilda shook her head.

A short while later Marc, Bobby and Mr. Suarez walked into the suite. "Thank God...I'm ready to go!" Daniel said eagerly picking up the box with the crown about to run out the door.

"I cannot believe the day has finally come when Daniel Meade is proposing to Betty" Marc said with a squeal. "We've been betting for years how long it would take you two to get together."

Daniel laughed as he was standing at the door. "I know."

"YOU KNEW?"

Daniel rolled his eyes "I'm not an idiot...well, okay, not a COMPLETE idiot, but I always heard the rumors about me and Betty. I even heard the ones where people thought we were already secretly married and that Betty was pregnant at one time"

Everyone's eyes bugged out. "I even heard all those rumors of us sleeping together. It never happened. Although, hearing those rumors made me think about that stuff, but then I thought that was stupid. She was Betty, she was my friend. Why would she ever go for a rotten guy like me?"

"Uh...but when she left that was like a slap in the face to wake up and admit that I...well, that she was more than a friend to me."

"Well, I have $3000 on the line. As soon as you kiss that money is mine!" Marc said with a grin. Daniel shook his head.

"Wilhelmina is even waiting for me to text her back!" he said with a smirk. Daniel's eyes went wide "Really? I didn't think she'd care"

Marc smiled "She does...n't" he said with a smirk. "We've joked about it for years when you'd finally get the brains and realize you're in love with her."

"WHAT? You're kidding?"

"NOPE! It was one of the things we talked about when she would actually laugh and we'd make fun of both of you and tell each other when you two did stuff."

Daniel shook his head. "Ok, can we go now?" he said anxiously.

"YES LET'S GO!" Hilda squealed. "YAY, my baby sister is getting engaged!" she said happily. "Mom, she has to say yes first."

"SHE WILL!" everyone else in the room said. Daniel laughed. They all made their way to Betty's work. Daniel told everyone to wait underneath the staircase so she wouldn't see them just yet. He wanted that part to be a surprise, along with a few other things.

As Daniel waited for Betty to come downstairs his heart was racing. He thought back to the time he was here in London and asked Betty a simple question that led him to this point.

A couple of weeks before he went back to New York he and Betty were watching a movie at her flat one night. Her head was rested on his shoulder as they sat on the couch. The question just seemed to be waiting to be asked. "Betty..."

"Hmm?" she responded distractedly as she continued to watch the movie.

Daniel looked at her and watched her eyes for a minute, and then spoke with a smile. "How would you want to be proposed to?" he asked mindlessly. Betty's eyes went wide as she turned to look up at him. "Uh...um...huh?" she responded dumbly, her heart starting to pound mercilessly against her chest as she sat up.

Daniel's eyes softened and looked so gentle and calm which was completely the opposite of how she was feeling "wh...why um...do you ask?" she stuttered.

Daniel smiled and shrugged "just curious. You're a writer. I'm sure you've thought about it before. Or have a dream of how you want someone to propose to you." He stated. She looked at him for a few seconds and smiled.

"Well...I...I don't know." She started but looked down at her hands, her facing turning a light shade of pink. Daniel smiled. "Don't be embarrassed. We're friends."

She looked up at him and smiled. "ok...uh...I...I would want him to..." she looked at his eyes and smiled "If I was with the right man I wouldn't care what he did or where, because I know he'd make it special for me" she said, then looked away.

"Hm...But, isn't there something...that you would want?" he asked trying to get more from her.

She smiled slightly. "Well, I would like him to treat me like I'm his princess." She said blushing. Daniel watched her eyes that had a sparkle and the light smile that was on her face; even the blushing made him feel tingly in his heart.

"That's so girly" she laughed at herself

Daniel smiled as he looked at her. "You deserve to feel like a princess" he said before he looked back to the TV not needing to hear any more.

As Daniel looked at the top of the stairwell waiting for Betty, his heart was pounding. He was anxious and didn't know what to expect from Betty. What he really didn't expect was how he'd react when he saw her.

As she stood at the top of the stairwell his heart practically exploded at the sight of her. Seeing her standing at the top that sparkly look in her eyes and that surprised and thrilled smile on her face made him see more than ever that she was his other half.

There's my princess, he thought to himself.

He was in a daze as he watched her. He laughed when he saw Amanda push her down the stairs practically dragging her behind her.

When he saw Betty in front of him he knew she was his whole world and he would do anything to keep her in it. When she said yes to him he immediately sought her lips and kissed her. When his lips met hers he felt ecstatic that he was finally kissing his Betty. And when he felt her reciprocate the kiss the feeling he got was unlike anything he'd ever felt. He was beyond happy. He truly felt like everything was perfect and he couldn't wait to be married to his beautiful princess, Betty.
