Before the manager left, he handed me a strange mask. "Use this whenever the animatronics get near you. They'll think you're one of them." He explained. The mask looked just like Freddy's face. I nodded in understanding. The manager left.

I looked at my watch. 11:59 PM. Just about time for my shift to start. I picked up the tablet and began to flip through the cameras, surveying the area. I breathed. All you've gotta do is make sure they don't get near you. That's it. I thought to myself. I kept flipping through until I reached the stage. The animatronics sat on the stage, a ghostly stare on their face. They seemed haunted. I shuddered.

I looked at the clock. Three seconds to go until my new job started.

I looked at the stage through the tablet. Immediately, Bon-Bon looked up at the camera. It scared me. He looked back towards the others and started to talk to them. I couldn't make out what he was saying, though. The camera was video only. I sighed and flipped to the other animatronics in the Parts and Services room. They seemed to activate in a certain way that made me quiver with fear.

I watched the original animatronics (Bonnie, Chica, Freddy, and Foxy) carefully, making sure none of them were getting up. None of them did. I sighed with relief, but kept an eye on them just to be sure. They were the ones I was mostly afraid of. I flipped back to the stage, just to make sure the others were there. Chi-Chi and Fred stood calmly on the top of the stage, almost as if they were waiting for something. But Bon-Bon was nowhere to be found.

I flipped frantically through all the cameras, searching to find where he might be. "Oh, god, where are you?" I asked myself, worried. I finally spotted him in the right vent. "THE RIGHT VENT? THAT'S RIGHT HERE!" I shook nervously. I walked slowly over to the vent, my whole body quivering in fear. I pressed the light button. Bon-Bon's head stuck out from the vent.

"Ah!" I jumped back and landed on the floor. I pushed back quickly, and ran into the wall. I sobbed heavily into my knees, making my jeans wet. I was scared. "Don't hurt me Bon-Bon!" I yelled through tears. I heard him climb fully through the vent, walking towards me slowly. "Please!" I cried.

I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked over at it. It was blue. I looked up, confused, tear streaks staining my face. It was Bon-Bon. He looked at me with a sad smile on his face. Then, out of nowhere, he hugged me.

"I missed you." I heard him say. "I missed you, Sean. I missed you so much." I sat in silence as he wrapped his arms around me. He remembers me. Bon-Bon actually remembers me. I thought.

"Y-You're not gonna hurt me?" I asked slowly.

"I would never hurt you. Trust me." He hugged me even tighter. I felt a wet tear drip down my back. It was Bon-Bon's. I hugged him back. We stayed like this for a while. Bon-Bon cried heavily into my shoulder, his oily tears falling from his face and onto my shirt. I cried slightly into his fur.

After a while, Bon-Bon finally leaned back from me. "Stay here, okay?" He told me. He got up and crawled back through the vent. I sat in silence as I waited for him. I was in shock. Maybe...maybe they'll all remember me. Maybe I won't be in danger after all. The thought made me feel better, but a cloud of doubt formed in my mind.

Or maybe...maybe Bon-Bon is just acting. Maybe he's pretending like he misses me just to lure me into a trap. Maybe he really does want to kill me after all. The thoughts made me turn worried. I grabbed the tablet and flipped to the Parts and Service room. Foxy banged heavily on the door, but it wouldn't budge. "At least I don't have to deal with them." I muttered to myself. I flipped back to the stage. Bon-Bon was talking to the others. I saw Chi-Chi make a gasping motion, and then jump up and down in an excited manner. She seemed happy. Maybe they really do miss me... I smiled as I saw her hug Bon-Bon lightly. Bon-Bon turned back around and left the stage.

I put down the tablet as I saw him crawl through the vent. "Follow me," he said, gesturing for me to follow him through the vent. He climbed back in, and I followed after him. My knees and elbows banged on the cold, hard metal, but it wasn't a problem. Luckily, the vents were large enough for me to fit through.

We crawled out the other side and ended up in a long, dark hall. "This way." Bon-Bon grabbed me by the arm and dragged me down the hall. We entered a large room. My eyes flooded with light. We were at the stage.

"Sean!" Something yelled. I felt something hug me tightly. It was Chi-Chi.

"Hi, Chi-Chi." I said weakly. My voice hurt from crying so much.

"Oh, Sean! It really is you!" She leaned back, grinning at me. Something touched my shoulder. Fred.

"Welcome back, bud." Fred smiled at me.

"Glad to be back." I grinned. "Hey, where's Bon-Bon?" I looked around. He was looking down at the ground, guilty. "What's wrong?" I asked him.

"Well...I, uh...I just..." Bon-Bon couldn't get the words out.

"Just what?"

"It's nothing. Don't worry about it." He finally said. "I'm just glad that you're back." Bon-Bon turned towards me, an expression of true contentment on his face.

"Yeah. We missed you." Fred said cheerfully. The words played over and over in my head.

We missed you.
