Apologies!: I am so sorry for the massive lag on this new chapter. Life got the better of me and I found it hard to actually sit down and take the time to write this. But here we are, practically 2 years later, after multiple edits and dedication, it's finally up! Lol. To be truthfully honest I've been trying to finish this chapter for close to a year now and it's not even finished. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to writing but thanks to ANKWHAT for PMing me on regards to my lag today I figured I needed to finally post what I currently have. I will try to make the next chapters longer. Also, I feel as though it is necessary to tell you all that I am not up to date with the series; so if anyone sees any discrepancies, PLEASE ignore them. Thank you all for baring with me and I hope you all like it! =]
Warnings: Yaoi in future chapters.
Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto *cries*
Chapter 2: The Appearance
Sasuke, rather uncomfortable, slowly awoke to the sweltering temperature in his confinement. His eyes opened lazily as he attempted to take a look around his cell. After a while, when he wasn't really able see much other than the ceiling, he begrudgingly decided to sit up. Lying with his back to the ground, he slowly shifted upwards. He was profoundly aware of the gruesome feeling of his clothes clinging to his body with every bit of movement. He was completely drenched in sweat from head to toe. His hair was sleek to his forehead and neck, his clothes were clinging to every inch of his body, and his skin was disgustingly moist and clammy.
Once sitting upright, he attempted to block out the thoughts of his current state. As beads of sweat trickled down his forehead, he made a swipe at them with the back of his hand, only aiding in more dirt getting on his face. He let out a frustrated sigh. Settling for just staying where he was, he drew his legs up and rested his arms on top of his knees. He took a quick look around his pen and noted that not much had changed while he was asleep. Another masked AUBU was standing motionlessly at the gate and there was a new plate of food placed on the floor just inside the metal bars. Completely uninterested, he glanced over to his left to take a look out the window of his cell. The sun was just about to its peak in the sky.
Mid-day huh? No wonder. He thought, unconsciously running a hand through his hair, immediately regretting it. His hair felt filmy and full of grime. He lowered his arm back onto his knee, still feeling the remnants of sweat and dirt from his hair like a lacquer on his fingers. Despite being able to take a shower the day before, if you could even call a hose spraying freezing cold water and a bar of soap a shower, it seemed this heat was going to do anything but help his stay here.
The moment I get out of here I'm taking a real fucking shower. Sasuke continued to sit there for a moment, mentally re-prioritizing his to do list, the shower gaining slight priority to hunting down Naruto, but only slight. Growing tired of just sitting around, Sasuke pushed himself up off the ground and set forth to go about his daily routine.
The time he had spent here had passed by at an agonizing rate. The days felt like weeks, the weeks felt like months, and the months felt like years. Not that Sasuke would ever show that he minded or even less noticed. Since his arrival, Sasuke spent most his time attempting to stay active. Since there seemed to be some sort of seal keeping him from using any of his chakra, he settled on perfecting his taijutsu and hand signs, not that he really believed either needed much work. Seeing as he was an Uchiha after all, he was perfect at everything he did. Never the less, he filled most of his days with non-stop training.
Every so often he'd receive a visitor or two, not that he really paid them much mind. It was mainly Sakura or Kakashi who would stop by to check on him. Sakura would check on his old wounds as well as tend to any on his new ones he had received from his constant practicing. Kakashi would, for the most part, just sit there and read one of his icha icha books. Once in a while Kakashi would make some sort of remark that Sasuke would respond with a simple 'hn', if anything at all. If he had to choose, he'd probably say he preferred Kakashi's visits better than Sakura's. It really came down to the fact that Kakashi didn't talk much, and also never seemed to expect a repose from him. On the other hand, with Sakura, she would be talking and asking questions so much he long ago decided she was probably answering for him in her head. Always with this sad broken look on her face like someone just killed her puppy. The visits with her always seemed to go on forever, but he couldn't really say they upset him that much. Was she most of the time irritating? Yes. Did she piss him off? Sometimes. Does he hate her? No. If he can deal with Karin, then he can certainly deal with Sakura.
What bothered him the most was, the fact that in the painstakingly long amount of time he had been locked up here, that Naruto hadn't shown his face once. After everything, all the trouble, the frustration, and the bullshit that Naruto had put him through by dragging him back here, he didn't even have the fucking balls to show his face. This fact alone was enough to steadily fuel the fire that was constantly raging inside of Sasuke. There was always another feeling, ever so small, that accompanied his anger that he didn't quite understand. So, being who he was, he completely disregarded it and pushed it to the back of his mind where he couldn't analyze it. He focused all his efforts on training and slowly coming up with the perfect way to get revenge on that idiotic little blonde.
He would soon be the reason for Naruto's demise. With this thought in mind, a mischievous grin slowly grew on his lips and he put more force into his punches. Loud crackles erupted from the walls with every blow.
Then finally the day came, and the person he had been waiting for, for what seemed like ages, made her appearance. A tall, large breasted woman stood outside of the metal bars that was his confinement. She was an attractive blonde woman with blue eyes that irritatingly reminded him of another annoying blonde.
Well I hope you all liked it! Thanks again for baring with me.
