Thank you for continuing to read my little story, I hope to update as often as I can. Again I don't own Star Wars, otherwise I wouldn't have to put this story here :D:D Thank you for your reveiws ahead of time :D
Anakin looked around the empty apartment, he had returned from Mustafar only a few moments ago. Frowning he again looked at the hologram he had found on Padme's bed, it showed a crying figure of his wife. She explained how she had seen a security hologram of him killing the younglings at the temple and seeking Lord Sidious's approval. Padme also said how scared she was for him, how much she loved him and hoped he came to his senses, but until then she didn't feel safe around him. And with a child coming she needed to be safe, so she left; without telling him were she was going, she had just left.
Tears started falling silently down his face, how could she do this to him? Everything he had done was for her and now she was running away from him. Anger towards Padme surged through him, he hated her for what she was doing to him, lying to him like that.
Brushing away his tears angrily he stood up, he was going to find Padme Amidala, let her live long enough to deliver his child, than he would raise his child with out it's mother's help. Quickly he moved to the veranda and climbed in to his fighter, speeding to his master's cruiser. His master would help him, he would agree that the child would be needed.
Padme pulled her cloak closer as she, Obi-Wan, Master Yoda, and the droids stepped of their transport on to the hot surface of Tatooine. They would be safe in the outskirts for a time, until the baby was born at least. Padme shivered, not from the hot air around her, but from the memory of seeing her love killing the youngling. The father of her child, some one she hoped he or she never met.
The company reached the small village in a short amount of time and made short order of getting the supplies they would need, and the speeder for the little traveling they might need to do.
It didn't take them long to reach the home of Shmi's widow. They were excepted warmly, with the hard news that Cliegg Lars had died, leaving Owen and Beru, who was now Lars's wife, in charge of the farm. Obi-Wan explained only part of the situation, but did not tell the Lars were the company was planning to do. After a short visit they moved on, but they didn't travel too far from the Lars farm before stopping at a small sand house.
"There are two rooms, m'lady. Please take your choice, Master Yoda and I will share the other." Obi-Wan informed Padme as he took her two travel cases into the hut.
"Thank you Master Kenobi," Padme moved to look around the small hut she found it larger on the inside than it appeared from the out. The bedrooms were on opposite ends, a medium to the left and much smaller one to the right, in the center was the entry and small kitchen and living room area. "I'll take the room to the right," Padme said taking her cases and moving to the right.
"Hard it must be," Yoda said, "to loose a loved one has she has. Strong she is" Obi-Wan nodded but didn't reply.
Padme sighed as she started placing her cloths and necessities in the containers and organizing what she had. The movement of mechanics turned her attention to the door way were C-3PO stood. "Would you like anything my lady?"
Padme shook her head than changed her mind, "Wait, yes. I am a bit hungry from the journey, 3P0. If you don't mind making something for Master Kenobi and Yoda as well."
C-3P0 nodded, "Of course my lady." With that he left the room.
A few moments later Obi-Wan stepped into the room, "3P0 has finish the meal," he turned to leave but than stopped, "I really am sorry about all this, Padme."
"Don't be," Padme answered, "There was nothing you could have done. But thank you, Obi-Wan. I am glad to have your company in these dark times."
Obi-Wan nodded then moved to the living area followed closely by Padme.
