The other day Tygra was watching his younger self fighting with Lion-o using wooden swords. Two of the best warriors were there to supervise the fighting, although they weren't on Panthro's or Grune's level. They were telling them the mishaps they made. Tygra was leaning to the wall and watching precisely his younger self's moves. Young Tygra made many mistakes but young Lion-o didn't see them, so he was losing, again, as usual. After some time they stopped, having a break.

"You're too proud." said the oldest prince as he looked at his younger self, who seemingly got irritated by the remark.

"I'm a tiger." the boy spat.

"So what? Our species died because of it." the older tiger said calmly.

"What do you know about them?" young Tygra yelled and the older Tygra smiled, making the young one to get angrier.

"Tygra!" Lion-o, the Lord of Thundercats appeared and signalised to his brother to follow him.

"Where are we going?" said the tiger after he had come to his brother.

"Jaga said he needs some information from us." the young king informed his brother. "And I thought we can debate with Father about letting us teach some manners in those brats." he smiled mischievously and Tygra smiled back.

"We are not sure if you will end on the right date in the future. We need some information about the future. Were there any bigger events?" asked the oldest cat, the cleric known as Jaga.

Lion-o stood with pride, just like his brother, Prince Tygra, but he shifted a little and looked at his older brother for reassurance. Tygra looked pained and lost a little but watched the youngest cat, and looking at each other there was a bond. A bond that would never be affected by any evil. They were brothers. They will be brothers. And over there just by looking at each other they were communicating silently, using the sight's language.

After some time Lion-o sighed and nodded.

"Lastly we found a stone, the Tech Stone and there was a fight between me and Mumm-Ra. I was betrayed." the boy looked sad, his brother watching him, like a hawk. "By my own kind. I lost, losing the stone… and my heart." he sighed. "Then we and all the other allies, animals of all kind made a pact. United Animals Alliance, we work together. All the species we helped, all of us forged a steady and powerful alliance. After that we all went on our roads. We were on the way to find the last stone, but the others said they want some rest. I couldn't rest after all what happened, so I went on. Apparently neither Tygra could rest. He came after me and we found ourselves here."

"It must be a trial then." the oldest one stated, and everyone watched him.

"Another one?" Lion-o made a face, and saw Claudus sceptical face. "I-I had some with the other stone." he showed the Spirit Stone. "Long story, no time to tell, we must focus on getting us back to the right time as fast as we can."

"It would make a little of a fiasco if the others see that both the king and the prince vanished…" Tygra smiled sheepishly. "…again…"

He was thinking about the time when their father died and both princes had to go away from their home. They had to find the Book of Omens, so they had to leave everything and everyone behind, though that hadn't gone unnoticed…

"As I see many will happen in the future." Claudus looked his son in the eyes and the boy visibly straightened and nodded seriously.

"Yes, many will… But Lion-o is doing fine." Tygra stated with a slight smile on his face, though Lion-o shook his head and looked at the floor knowing he shouldn't start debating with his brother, Tygra is too stubborn to admit Lion-o is too young for the role he got by a shameful act of sabotage… Grune… He hated that name so much, but he had to hide it, Grune is his father's friend in this timeline, he cannot ruin the future, his present. Damn this travel mishap. "…so can we train them this evening?" the young lion snapped back to the present, apparently he was daydreaming.

"Yes and I would love to assist." Claudus crossed his arms. Tygra nodded and the other lion was trying to focus on the reality, he must be tired…

Later on that day Lion-o was in his guest room. He was sprawled on the bed and thinking about all what happened. He felt tired but he couldn't sleep, not now, thinking about her… The betrayal… The trip… Pain… He had to get together, he was so willing to be happy and to tell his father what will happen and what happened, to save him and to avoid many things… But that way he would have never meet the twins, or see how much other cats are counting on him, how he changed… He thought about his father, not this one, that one that died because of betrayal… "No matter what happens, you made me proud today" his words echoed in the boy's head. Did he know that his friend will betray him? That his species would turn against him? No, he didn't. The greatest king ever…

Knocking on the door, made Lion-o he was daydreaming again.

"Hey, little brother." Tygra entered and took a seat on the chair next to the little table. "You look a little dazed, are you feeling alright?" Lion-o sat up and looked at his brother.

"I'm tired, that's all." he said, without thinking his brother would know that's not all.

"Lion-o." Tygra warned with a softness in his tone that he used just when there was a problem with a family member. Lion-o sighed.

"It's weird, all of this and I'm thinking about dumb things… Like changing what will happen, but that would be selfish!" he groaned louder. "A king is not selfish. And seeing my father, our father, it's…I cannot accept the fact that I can see him again… Even if it's just a trial." he got up walking in the room stopping for some moments and waiting for his brother's response.

"Maybe it's not a trial-"

"Of course it is a trial. A trial to test us. To show how bad I am as a king." he sat down burying his face in his paws.

"Maybe it's a gift."

I'm sorry I couldn't put this online earlier, but I have some health issues and yeah... I really don't want to talk about it, especially when one doctor said I have something nasty and the other said I have nothing... But it hurts, very much... So, I'm kinda trying to push all of that away and try to write as fast as possible, I won't leave this story just like that, but it'll take some time especially if I'll go to the hospital which will happen next month.

Anyway, I'm really grateful for the reviews. :) And about the twins, if I know correctly young Tygra and Lion-o do not know them, but tell me if I'm wrong.

Thanks for reading and until next chapter, have amazing holidays and bright days. :D
