Pokemon of Flower-Bud Village

(JamiexJessie, OcxAsh, BrockxGina, DawnxBlue)

I do not own Pokemon OR Harvest Moon. I'm just a major fan and thought this would be fun. Kay? Kay.

~Chapter One~

A groan escaped the blonde farmer's lips as she attempted to lift the blue feather. She'd come to find it wasn't from the bluebird that signified love- it was from a bluebird that had never existed until then! Looking at the feather, she saw it was indeed blue, but the length and the way it felt to her delicate fingertips were far off. It was ice-cold! Rather than signifying love, the feather reminded her of the cold bitterness she once had when that wall was built between herself and Jamie. It was cold like a bitter rivalry. That was far difference from the warmth of the love she felt for him now.

She took it with her to the clinic, knocking on the door. When she got in, there were a group of strangers, one being treated for a wound. "Um... Is this a bad time, Alex?"

The man turned around after helping the girl on the seat, smiling to the farmer. "Welcome, Kana. Is something wrong? You're not working too hard again, are you?"

"No, no, I'm fine. I wanted to ask you if you've heard of any odd bluebirds coming around recently... I thought I found the blue feather, but this can't be it... It's so cold!"

"Cold?" Alex touched it briefly with his gloved hand, jumping. "It's like ice!"

"Why do you need a feather anyway?" One of the strangers looked at Kana. It was a boy around her height, wearing a simple blue and white jacket and jeans, his black hair covered by some sort of red baseball cap. The girl on the patient bed gave an awkward look, and the tall, tan man that reminded her of a friend, Basil, showed nothing more than a hint of curiosity himself. The doctor looked to the strangers with a smile.

"In this area, giving a blue feather to someone is a way of asking for their hand in marriage. The blue-bird only comes if it can sense two hearts truly connected."

"Mayor Theodore told me a blue bird was seen on the mountaintop, so I went to look for it. When I got there, this strange feather was all that's there. This feather... It's not the right one... It's so cold. The blue feather used to propose is supposed to be warm and a sign of love, not cold like being enemies..." Kana sighed, when suddenly the black haired boy walked over, touching the feather in her hand.

"It feels familiar..." He turned to his friends. "It feels like Articuno's feather."

"Articuno's feather?" The girl on the bench replied.

"What is this Articuno?" Alex gave the three an odd glance. Kana soon added on.

"And who are you guys, anyway?"
