I do not own Naruto

Obito is dead, team Kakashi reunited, Naruto and I an item. Tsunade asked us to destroy a clock Obito covered in seals, not hard. Suddenly we found ourselves 20 years in the future, with Sasuke's parents and brother alive? Oh and I'm dead 20 years from now, and Sasuke is my husband...what the hell is going on? And these kids we've just met for the first time-I'm their mother?

Valley of Fire

Chapter Two-Home Movies

The eight of us followed Kai and Miko through the brush. Tsubaki clung to my side, nearly hanging off of me. Naruto held my shoulder in his hand, asking if I felt like throwing up as well. The headache had passed, but the nausea continued. Tsubaki eyed Naruto, not liking that he was touching me. Her grip tightened on me.

When Naruto had smiled in her direction she pulled away, running to catch up with Miko, holding her hand, but keeping her head turned so she could look at me. She was worried that I would disappear. I winked, telling her I wasn't going anywhere. It was so strange, knowing that I am dating Naruto, have been for five months, with no reason to break up, to now know that I end up marrying Sasuke. I tried to not think about it.

His parents kept looking towards me, Sasuke kept his gaze forward. Was he freaking out too? First his parents and brother come back to life, then without proper time to think on that, we get shoved roughly twenty years forward, meet our children, and meet his future self. He seemed to be quite proud of the man he became, reveling in how powerful he would become. Even his children. Fugaku Uchiha seemed even more enthusiastic. Mikoto just smiled and went along, telling Sasuke that they had watched over him, how proud they were, even of Itachi, who seemed to be so relaxed that he ignored almost everything.

Tsunade seemed to be worried, she was running through plans in her head, I could see it. She and Kakashi seemed to be perplexed with our situation and how to get back to our time. I was fine the moment that our Sasuke and Future Sasuke met, clearly two of the same people wouldn't cause the universe to combust like the comic say.

The tree line ended, the little pathway became a large rock slab pathway, staggered. The smooth stone reflecting the sunlight. Miko and Tsubaki started to hop from one to the other. I smiled, following them with my eyes, the then bigger picture caught my eye. Holy shit…the house they lived in, it was freaking huge. One story, but spanning at least two apartment buildings from home, maybe more. As we approached, everything became sharper, small trees lined the yard, small flowerbeds decorated the edge of the walkway, a few children toys littered the yard. Kai headed towards the opened arched screen door and turned to us.

So this was home...?

"Wow," that was all I could say, the house was huge! A one story and absolutely large, ornate and traditional, with screen doors and windows, perfectly trimmed shrubbery, and a manicured lawn.

"Yeah," Kai laughed, leaning against the door, "Mom and Dad couldn't find something they liked so they built what they wanted. And will all of us kids, the room was needed." He smiled, looking so like my father when he did, bright, fully animated.

"Exactly how many of you are there?" Naruto asked, "You're said you had a sister who died?"

"Yes," Kai looked into the yard, under the small little willow tree, I followed his gaze, there was a small remembrance rock tucked under the leaves, "Sasami, she was the second child." Kai looked towards me, our eyes connecting, he had dark green eyes.

"I'm the third." Miko laughed, "Then Hayate he's thirteen, he should actually be coming home soon." She held Tsubaki close to her as they faced us, "it gets a little hectic here." She winked towards me, "Kyo is ten, Sae is nine, and Tsubaki is seven—and the seventh child!" seven….wow…. "Sora is three, and the last is Kori, she's two."

I gulped, I would have nine children…?

Naruto looked at me, I could see his large blue eyes, and his expression was wide with shock. Sasuke chuckled. I felt really cold all of a sudden. I kept my gaze forward, honing onto the Uchiha pendant around Kai's neck, I was afraid that I was spinning. Naruto waved his hand in front of my face, breaking my concentration. I turned to look at him, he was clearly not amused.

"Sakura," his emotion changed from shocked to worry, "you okay, you're green?" his hand was at my forehead in an instant.

I looked from him to Tsunade, she shook her head at me, and Kakashi gave me a thumbs-up, what the hell was that for? Mikoto had her hands laced together, stars in her eyes at the knowledge of grandchildren, she looked like a kid in the candy store. Fugaku was blank, unreadable, so was Itachi, who looked like he was sleeping standing up. Then there was Sasuke, who was looking at the house, clearly more interested in the architecture.

"I'm…" what was Sasuke thinking? "Fine." I pushed Naruto's hand away, instead moving closer to him, wrapping myself in his warm embrace, I wanted comfort. This was all so strange.

Kai scrunched his nose. Miko too had this awkward look on her face when Naruto held me. This must have been strange for them as well. Their mother with someone else? But I, Sakura Haruno age eighteen, was not their mother. Yet…

Kai and Mikoto led us into the house. Tsubaki ran off when Naruto kissed my cheek, on the verge of tears. Miko explained that she was my shadow, my partner in crime, I was her best friend. Understandable. We all removed our sandals, I realized then, my shoes were missing…odd. The house was large, but it was cozy. Clearly a woman lived here. Cream walls, dark floors, modern furniture mixed with ornate old. Pictures lined the walls, many of children. Single shots, group shots, and one family portrait that was the largest.

I stood before it, examining it. I was in the middle, dressed in traditional robes, purple with gold threading. My face had matured, I looked like my mother, if I didn't know that was me, I would have thought that woman stunning. Long rosette hair, curling at the ends. I sat next to Future Sasuke. He looked so regal, black robes, gold threading revealing the image of a wild cat. Proud patrician features, his hand held mine, we sat so close to each other. The children all piled around us. Kai standing in the middle at the back, a happy smiled on his face.

A tall and slim girl at his side, dark brown hair, green eyes, and Sasuke's skin tone. Illuminating as the moon. She was a wonder. In my heart I knew who that was, Sasami. She smiled shyly, her thin blade-like nose housing childish freckles, eyes crinkled in joy. Miko stood opposite her, holding a baby, the baby was swaddled in a cloth, but dark black hair, light skin, and dark eyes, and the cutest chubby cheeks in the whole world. She looked dead into the camera, not knowing what was going on.

A boy stood beside me, his hand on my shoulder. His robe top falling off his shoulder slightly. Dark black hair fell into his face, but couldn't hide his eyes, large and green. He too had my features, rounded cheeks, defined lips, and a swan-neck, Hayate. I knew the boy next to Sasuke was Kyo, he looked like a mixture of Sasuke and I, blade-like nose, thin and long, lanky and tall for his age, small chin, and swan-neck. Tsubaki knelt at our feet, with a rosette little girl, holding a doll, Sora. She and Tsubaki could have been twins. Seeing them all together, this looked like a real family. Next to it where informal pictures. The kids growing up.

One where I was holding a baby, I didn't look much older than I am right now. Maybe a few years older. I looked so happy, holding the baby close to me, my eyes looking down at him. The baby was Kai. Wait, in a few years I was going to be married to Sasuke and having children? I needed to sit down. Miko lead us into a formal sitting room, but it was anything but formal, large L-shaped dark couch facing an equally large TV, movies and games lines the built in bookshelf around the TV. A coffee table sat between us.

I nearly fell down into the couch, instantly loving the feeling of the material. Miko laughed, mentioning it was something I always did when I came home exhausted. The others all filled out the other sides of the couch, Naruto almost fell asleep. Stretched out next to me.

The younger children all cried hysterically when they looked at me. Not knowing what was going on. Sora cried that I looked like her mommy but I wasn't mommy. True. They looked at all of us, wondering why we were there. Their little brains not grasping what was going on. At this point I didn't even know what was really going on. I took a play from Naruto, just go with the flow.

The baby thought I was her mom, and cried and cried, begging me to pick her up. The babysitter who was holding her, winced at the sound. It was blood curdling, heartbreaking to hear her cry. I could see the desperation in the sitters face as she tried to sooth Kori, looking all around for older Sasuke. Fear laced her eyes as she went pale. Was she afraid of him? Were the children not allowed to cry? Kai appeared next to her, making faces at his youngest sister, offering to pick her up, but she refused. Crying out for her mommy.

Mikoto cooed over the child, a happy little smile on her face as she stepped forward, looking at the baby, petting her head.

"Mommy!" she cried out, her hands reached out for me.

Big green eyes holding my gaze, my heart clenched at the sound of this child wanting me to sooth her, wanting me to hold her. I had only held newborns and children at the hospital, and on my own accord. Sure they wanted me to hold them, but I could always put them down when I wanted. Yet something in me, told me to go to her, to take her, and hold this little girl to me.

I guess maternal instincts, or rather caregiver instincts, overrode me. Plucking her out of the sitter's hands I brought the little girl to me. Her head was against my chest, she calmed instantly, placing her thumb into her mouth and closing her eyes as she listened to my heart beat. Kai sighed and smiled, crossing one foot over the other hands leaned down onto one hip.

"Yup," he laughed, "a natural."

"Shut up," I scoffed turning away, to face Naruto. He smiled and reached out to touch her head.

It was like she knew Naruto was about to touch her, she growled like a cat, one eye opening to glare at him, pushing closer to me. He laughed and jumped back.

"I miss mommy," Hayate said as he leaned his cheek on his hand, sitting down on the floor, Kyo beside him, laying on his stomach, arms folded under him, rested his chin.

"Me too," Kyo agreed.

They both sounded pathetic.

Kai walked to the television stand, opening a few drawers before finding what he was looking for, it was a small video recorder, taking out a few wires he hooked it up to the screen and a home movie started. We all sat down at that point. The two boys popped up like moles and sat in front of the screen.

"Kai's First Birthday!" appeared on the screen, written in my hand writing.

It was pulled down and I was on the screen, smiling away, laughing, I couldn't have been more than three years older than I am right now.

"Well we did it Sasuke!" I laughed, "We didn't kill the baby!" I smiled sticking out my tongue at the cameras, Sasuke must have been holding the camera. "One whole year! It seems like yesterday we brought him home, and you thought—"

"—it was one time!" Sasuke's voice interrupted, the camera shook as it was turned around, Sasuke's face came into view, he looked the same, but happier, "Kai, I thought I killed you once, just for one second," his eyes drifted, I was doing something, "okay," he rolled his eyes, "five minutes, but bud; I put you down for a nap and when I came back you were face down, what was I to think?" he laughed, I appeared next to him, slipping under his chin to get into the frame.

"We love you so much Kai," I said, as Sasuke's chin was placed on my head, his eyes looking into the camera, "happy birthday buddy! You get to have sugar for the first time, and cake, with lots and lots of frosting! And it is not mommy's day to bath and put you to bed!" I laughed, throwing my arms into the air, muttering 'score'. Sasuke rolled his eyes, but a smirk pulled at his lips.

The screen went black.

"Wow," Naruto pulled me into his chest, one arm wrapping around me. Kori had fallen asleep, "you guys were so young…"

"Mommy is the best," Tsubaki muttered as she sat down next to Mikoto, who fawned over the girl, running her hands over her hair. Tsubaki looked up and smiled so sweetly.

The screen became an image of Kai and a dark haired baby who was crawling towards the camera. Kai sat on his butt, feet shoved out, rubbing his eyes, his hair was in disarray.

"Daddy," Kai muttered, "why am I up?"

"Because I have a surprise for you," Sasuke said as the camera shifted to the baby who had crawled into him, climbing up a get to look at the camera, "hello Sasami!" the baby smiled at her name, reaching out with chubby fingers, trying to touch the lenses.

A sound was made, everyone turned towards a door. I walked in through it, dressed in a ninja vest, looking tired, but my face lit up as I looked into the camera and then to the kids. Kai stood up, running to me, shouting 'mommy!' with arms out, I caught him, bringing him into my chest and kissing his head.

"Look, Sasami!" the camera shifted to the baby, "who is that?" the baby fell to her butt, clapping and laughing so cutely, "That's right, that's mommy!"

"Hey," I knelt down onto the carpet, Kai still holding onto me, my eyes totally on the baby, "there's my best girlfriend!" I laughed, reaching out to pick her up, bringing her to me for a kiss and a hug. "Hi daddy!" I looked up into the camera, winking as Sasuke chuckled.

"Hey, mommy." Sasuke answered, "Kai was this the best surprise or what? We didn't think mommy was coming home for another three days!"

Kai turned and looked into the camera, tears falling, "I love my mommy!" he cried out, "Mommy can you make breakfast? I'm tired of scrambled eggs!?"

My face was caught between laughter and a loving smiled as I looked at him, "okay," I said, trying to hold back the laughter, I looked into the camera, "daddy can't cook, can he?" I laughed.

"Clearly they are alive," He defended.

"Did you eat eggs for each meal the month I was gone?" my brow rose.

"No,"

Kai turned, "YES!"

"Bud, I told you, that was our secret!"

"Well you didn't pinky-swear!"

I laughed and kissed Kai's forehead as Sasami giggled happily, throwing her arms in the air. Sasuke deeply chuckled, the camera rolling a bit before settling back on the kids. Kai wrapped his arms around my neck as he closed his eyes. My hand ran gently through his spiky midnight black hair, one finger tapped the button of his blade-like nose. He smiled and settled deeper into my chest.

"Are you leaving again?"

"No, mommy won't be leaving anytime soon." I said, "I promise."

The screen went black. Everyone laughed, it must have been a family joke. Kai settled into the deep back of the couch, nearly laying down on it, as he threw his head back he smiled and muttered something about how he still couldn't cook, and how they all hated eggs now. Kori shifted on my lap a bit, from the noise. Miko entered the living room, looking out at us all sitting down, but then her eyes became captured as the screen changed again.

Sasuke was standing in a green yard. Kai beside him, handing off of his legs, standing on his foot, big smiled pulling at their lips as Sasuke looked into the camera. "What do you say?" my voice asked.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SASAMI!" Kai screamed happily as he threw his hands up, falling to the grass as he was no longer using Sasuke to stand.

"Happy second birthday princess." Sasuke said sweetly, a nice smiled on his lips, his whole face relaxed.

Images of the birthday party played out, Sasami looking as cute as a button, it was a princess party, every little girl dressed like a princess, complete with wands and tiaras. Sasuke himself was wearing a tiara as a cake was placed in front of the girl who looked happily into the camera before kissing Sasuke and blushing. She made a wish and the candles were out. Sasuke was wrapped in a jump rope as he chased after Kai and other children, screaming and laughing. The yard filled with many of our friends, even Naruto who looked on laughing, pointing at Sasuke. I was standing to the side, smiling, Sasami at my feet.

The last image that played was Sasuke and I, curled up in a large wooden chair, it was dark out. I was wrapped in his arms, holding the camera up. His face hidden in my hair, as I laughed, "I think we're alone."

Snorting Sasuke looked up into the camera, "we haven't been alone in five years thanks to your parasites." He said dryly.

"You know you love them!" I scoffed, "but kids remember to tell Auntie Tsunade that you love her! Too bad she won't consider babysitting full time!" I smiled, as Sasuke kissed my cheek before rolling his eyes.

"What do you think she does at the Hokage Tower all day?" he seemed to squeeze me tighter, "turn off the camera." He said.

"Nope," I sat up, taking it with me, continuing to film, turning around to capture him, "did you have a fun day, Pretty Princess Sasuke?" I joked.

Sasuke groaned and held up his hands, the backs facing me, I zoomed in, his nails and a good bit of his fingers were blue, green, and sparkly purple.

"You let Sasami put nail polish on you?" I laughed, "And here you don't even let me pluck your eyebrows!"

His head fell back, taking in a large breath, his chest puffing up and then lowering, "had to do something, she was about to have a screaming fit because Akamaru went home with Kiba and his kids."

"Awe, you're so sweet!" I teased, zooming in.

"Turn the camera off." He snapped back up, eyes looming over the shot, looking at me.

"Got a better chance is you actually ask me and nicely."

"Turn the camera off, mommy," he ordered again.

"Ha-ha, try again Princess Daddy!"

"I swear if your kids use this as blackmail against me when they are old, I'll kill you." He said dryly.

"Testy!" I laughed, he was clearly not amused with how he reached out for the camera. "How can you kill me? I am the mother of your children. It not like any other woman in the world would waltz in and be willing to deal with your brooding butt!" the camera returned to Sasuke, he was standing, walking towards me, as I backed up. "My children are complete angles, nothing to do with you!"

"Yeah," he snorted, "complete angles when you're watching."

"All the girls say they are! They complement me all the time about them, I have the cutest babies in the whole world!"

"You act like I did nothing!" Sasuke rolled his eyes, "as if you magically wind up pregnant."

The camera flipped to me, "Kids, we'll have THE TALK, when you're a bit older, but daddy is right."

Black

Sasuke was as pale as a ghost, we all were aware of his reaction. He must have not believed that he will have done a complete change from one personality to the next. He was a different person in these videos. He sat like a bomb ready to go off, still, stiff, full of kinetic energy ready to be released. Kai chuckled and slapped his shoulder.

"You are a fun dad," he said, gaining all of our attention, "seriously, all of us, the boys, you are our best friend. We always are together, handing out, laughing, you are a seriously cool dad. But hey we know about how you grew up, you wanted us to have a different life, so you became who you wanted us to have."

Kyo groaned and flipped over, "Dad's not like that anymore, Kai!" he said with a snooty voice, "ever since mommy—"

"—Kyo!" Hayate sat up and slapped his hand over Kyo's mouth stopping the child from speaking, "shush!" Hayate looked nervous, his eyes darting about, Kai to quieted, listening.

"Dad's in his study," Miko said, "he can't hear us."

"If he saw us watching this, he'd kill me." Kai said.

"That's nothing new, Kai!" she laughed, "You always do something that annoys him."

"Yeah, like what you did last month?"

"Separate incident, I didn't expect the justsu to work, I was just trying."

"Yeah, trying to summon the dead, not at all smart, especially in our back yard."

"I just wanted to see her again, not bring her back to life."

"I guess you didn't inherit any intelligence from mom or dad, if you had gone off into the forest you wouldn't have been caught so easily, how do you think I get away with one third of what I do?"

"You'd lose your head if it wasn't attached to your neck! Remember who took three tries to pass the Chunin exam and who only took one!?"

"Just because you had the sharingan before me means nothing!"

"It means everything! At least I am not grounded most of the year!"

"Well whose fault is that?"

"Don't blame me for your lack of escaping!"

"Who always take the blame for your mistakes and has to clean it up!"

"That's what big brothers are for, dumb-ass!"

"Little sisters are a pain!"

"Can we go to our rooms?" Kyo asked, an expression of, 'I've heard this fight before' on his face, Kai dismissed them and the boys ran out of the room as if they were on fire.

Kori had fallen asleep in my arms, haply resting on me, one hand wrapped up in my hair. Naruto looked down at her, admiring her. Mikoto and Tsubaki became the best of friends, the little girl sitting across her lap as the elder braided her hair. Miko and Kai had stood, challenging each other, arguing with restraint, as to lot alert their father to what was going on. Why did they tiptoe about him? Kai said they he was a wonderful father, why do they now have to act with caution about him? I looked over at Sasuke, wondering what it was he thought, arms crossed, sitting upright with one leg over a knee. He watched the two argue with dark eyes, learning everything he could.

Itachi too watched with curiosity, waiting to learn as much as possible from this. Actually we still have not been told the whole story, or even understand everything. I suppose we all are taking this as it comes rather than trying to fully understand this. Less than two hours ago we were twenty years in the past this time, and now here we are, surrounded by children not even born to us, from a marriage that has not even happened yet. The relationship leading up to this marriage hasn't even formed yet, I don't even know what I think about Sasuke, let alone know why I would want to leave my relationship with Naruto.

When did I fall out of love with Sasuke? Did I ever? I can't remember…I must have not even been in love when I was thirteen, strong emotions like that just don't disappear without memory. I care for him, as I do for all my friends. But what about this man he is now, changes all of that. Was it him or will it be me? I felt a headache coming on.

Dinner was a…event.

All the children crammed into the dining room along with us. Miko and Kai had cooked, they tried their best to wrangle the younger children, keeping them quiet and to eat their food, which consisted of mostly processed foods and tomatoes. All the younger ones argues and bickered amongst each other. Kyo is left handed, and Tsubaki being right-handed kept hitting each other, and because of the extra people at the table they couldn't move away. Kori was being fed by Mikoto, who seemed so in love with all these kids, happily going along with it all and taking it like a champ, unfazed at all of this newness. Sasuke seemed very out of his element, green, shocked, and tightly wound.

Itachi kept to himself, not speaking, but at ease, as if all this chaotic energy was calming him. Fugaku seemed proud of all the children and yet horrified at the 'un-Uchiha-like' conduct they all acted with. Kai defended them saying 'homes are for free expression', something he claimed was my motto.

Naruto and Hayate became fast friends, talking about practical jokes they liked to pull on others. Sneakily passing on his stockpile of jokes and bomb recipes to the young boy. I slapped him when I overheard about bombing a girls locker room during showers.

"Don't corrupt my son!" I growled.

Naruto must have forgotten, that all nine of these children would be mine one day, because he blanched. Narrowing his eyes at Sasuke for a good wile. The other did not register the glare, he kept observing the fiasco that was dinner. The children all talking at once time. Miko and Kai arguing as they passed bows of food, piling it on the younger's plates and yelling about trying to be quiet.

Future Sasuke did not surface, he had not come for food nor had he interacted with the children. Miko had taken a plate to him, but that was it. Kai spoke about how great of a relationship he had with the children, but this was just sad. They didn't ask nor wonder where he was, they just went on with dinner, not questioning it, as if it was normal.

The older kids put themselves to bed after doing their homework and roughhousing a bit. Kyo and Hayate wrestling in the living room, pinning each other with all their strength. Kai and Miko were out of a job when it came to bathing the two youngest, Mikoto took over than. Loving every second of it. Fugaku got into the acting with the boys, giving those hints on how to wrestle better. Tsunade, Kakashi, and Itachi were summoned to Future Sasuke's study. No doubt trying to figure out how to send all of us home.

Miko and the children all wrested as they fought to not take baths. Kai was busy trying to fit us all into three guest's rooms. Kakashi, Sasuke, and Itachi were the odd men out, banished to the couch. I took that moment to search for Sasuke. None of this seemed real, more like a dream than anything. I need to talk to him. I felt this unnerving need to hear what he was thinking, what he felt about all of this. Everything happened too quickly. Tsunade gave us the onceover, decided we all were compartmentalizing this experience. The trauma of the justsu pushing us forward in time had given us a form of whiplash and seemed to have given us concussions without the brain damage. Which explained the aches, nausea, and dizziness.

She was busy healing Kakashi as I slipped out one of the terrace doors, sliding it shut.

Looking out into the court yard I gasped, Kai wasn't kidding, this house was huge. Large back lawn with a currently covered pool, swing set, sandbox, claiming walls and trees. This place was a child's paradise. The porch wrapped about the whole back of the house. I felt his chakra signature, and followed it. Finding him standing at one of the small stoops that opened out to a koi pond and rock garden, he was looking out into the night sky, arms crossed and stance tight.

"Sasuke…?" I approached him, unsure of his reaction, wrapping my arms around myself, suddenly cold in the night air.

"What do you want?"

"I want to know what you're thinking."

"I'm thinking that all of this is insane." He said, looking up into the sky, "my parents and brother come back from the dead, and before anything can be fully processed we all get sucked twenty years into the future. A future none of us imagined would happen."

"Okay,"

"Is that all you can say?" he turned to me, "okay? Sakura, seriously."

"Look, I'm trying to go with the flow here. I'm trying not to take everything so seriously, I hate this—being told that 'I'm this' and 'we're that' when I haven't lived this. None of this seems real—but it is."

"You hate this future?" he suddenly looked at me so coldly, "this future with me?"

I didn't know what to say. I felt my jaw drop. He quickly shook his head at me before brushing me aside. Walking back to the family room from the way I came. What the hell?

I stood there for a moment longer before a large chakra signature alerted me. I closed my mouth and waited, Future Sasuke walked from around the last corner and came into view. He slowly walked towards me, his eyes on mine, and a tick on his jaw. Was he still angered that I was here? Could he stomach the sight of me?

Stopping less than a foot away from me, he did something that I anticipated, leaning back onto the railing, crossing his arms over his chest, one ankle over the other. His smirk pulling at his lips as his obsidian eyes bore into mine. They seemed to trace my face, looking every part of my features over before he scoffed and spoke.

"I'd like to say that my rough edges are gone in the near future, but they're not. I will always be an ass." He chuckled.

"And somehow I see past that?" I raised my eyebrow at him, crossing my arms as I looked him over. "I gave up on bad boys when one particular one knocked me out and left me in the park."

"Still angry about that?" he opened his eyes, intrigue and humor warming the darkness of his eyes, "you never forgive me for that."

"Glad to know." I smiled, but his expression turned sour.

"Are you here to torture me?" he asked, looking away from me, blowing out a breath, "it's strange looking into your eyes."

"We told you, somehow a justsu pushed us—"

"—you know as well as I do that things happen for a reason," he said sharply, but still looking away from me, "you were brought here for a reason."

"Well it wasn't to cause you any pain, Sasuke." It was strange calling him Sasuke, when the Sasuke I knew was my age, and not this man. "I would never intentionally hurt you, unless you deserve it. After what Kai told us, you would never deserve this."

"what do you know about this?" he suddenly snapped back to me, looking down at me with hurt and anger in his eyes, his whole body going ridged. "You have yet to understand what was between us, what we felt for each other, how you have destroyed me."

I backed up, holding my hands up, "I'm sorry." I whispered, the pain in his voice scaring me, "I'm sorry."

"You'd better turn in, Naruto is probably wondering where you went." He sneered before moving quickly, heading back where he had entered, leaving me on the porch, watching as he walked away.

I swallowed the knot of stress that had somehow gathered in my throat, feeling the sweat I didn't know I had falling down my back. I thought about what he had said, and it was true, I had no idea what would happen between us. He must have been right, we were brought here for a reason, and that reason was what I was now determined to find out.

Okay so I know I kind of dropped ya'll into the story quite quickly but I wanted you to feel the rushed feelings of everything happening quickly and get a feeling of whiplash along with the characters. But here we are, crazy stuff is about to happen.

So stick around, rate, review, like, all that jazz!
