Hey guys! Hope last chapter wasn't too bad even though it was short...anyway, here's chapter 2! Hope chu like!
I sighed angrily as I sorted and filled out Matsumoto's papers. I knew I should do her's first cause we all know she isn't going to do it. I growled inwardly at the thought of the Lieutenant. She was lazy and spoiled. She doesn't deserve to have such a high rank. I sighed again. I don't have the right to say such things. But she really makes me upset sometimes. I remember when I first met her and Captain...
*Flashback*
I knocked shyly on my new Captain's door. Izuru, Momo and I finally finished Soul Reaper Academy, however, I was only appointed 5th seat rather than lieutenant. I knocked again. A tall, dirty blond-haired lady with HUGE boobs answered.
"Who are you?" she asked me. She took a step back to get a good look at me.
"My name is Mamoko Hirosan. I've been appointed to 5th seat under the 10th Division." She laughed in my face.
"You're kidding right?" I shook my head. "Listen, our division only takes the best of the best. I don't think Toshiro would accept a kid like you."
"That's Captain Hitsugaya to you, Lieutenant." Matsumoto sidestepped to reveal the short and cute Toshrio Hitsuyaga. "And I did accept her to become our new 5th seat."
"But Captain-"
"That's enough. Go back to your duties."
"But thats so much paperwork!"
"Matsumoto!" the tone of his voice was enough to get her to stop talking and slowly walk back to her desk to resume working. He looked back at me. "Good day, Mamoko." he closed the door, leaving me nothing else to do but go back to my room and polish Loka Luha.
*End Flashback*
Almost everything I did, I was either doing it wrong or getting on her's and Hitsugaya's way. She needs to accept the fact that I'm not just a damn kid. Suddenly, I thought of Momo...the actions that she took back there...unbelieveable. I wonder how she's doing. I hope she has calmed down. I sighed and set Matsumoto's papers aside. I stood and stretched.
"Done!" Then I looked at Captain's desk and nearly died. "Urghhh, of all the Squad's I had to get the one with the most paperwork..." I sulked over to his desk and began to work. I looked at the clock. 1:00. I've been here for nearly 2 hours. I groaned. The door opened.
"You're done here." Matsumoto said rudely as she and Captain walked back into the room. Why is it me that she has an attitude with? She's never like that with anyone else. I didn't say anything to Captain Hitsugaya, he looked aggravated and confused.
"I finished your paperwork, Lieutenant. Maybe if you actually worked on it you wouldn't have to rely on me." I can feel her glare burning into the back of my head. But it was true and I really don't care. Right now, all I want is to see Momo.
I walked around. Pretty much no one was outside. They were either in their offices or fighting off those intruders from the world of the living. I wonder what they look like...as I thought of this, I reached Momo's cell. She was reading a paper.
"Momo? You ok?" I asked, walking in the room. She looked at me with tears in her eyes.
"He knew." she told me.
"Who knew?"
"Captain Aizen! He knew he was going to die! He knew someone was after him!" I didn't know what to say. She looked so heartbroken.
"Momo...it'll turn out alright." she gave me a bewildered look.
"Alright? How is it gonne turn out alright?" Momo stood up to face me. "My captain was killed Mamoko! How would you feel if Captain Ichimaru killed Toshiro instead?" I said nothing. Maybe because I knew I would've done the same thing. Maybe because I would've cried my eyes out if ANYONE killed my beloved captain. "Exactly." Momo sat back down.
"I hope you get out soon, Momo." I said as I left. I went to the training ground so I can practice with Loka Luha. I just hope I'll be alone...I've got alot on my mind. I unsheathed my zanpakuto and began gracefully slashing the air around me. Back in the Soul Reaper Academy, Momo and Izuru would joke that I would dance with my sword than actually fight with it. Loka Luha doesn't look like much, I'll admit. It looks like a long saber. Light, easy to carry, yet effective. I focused my attention on the wooden dummy that stood before me.
"Fly, Loka Luha!" Loka Luha began to glow a deep purple before stretching its length and spurting out small sharp spikes. It "flew" towards the dummy and wrapped itself around the dummy's neck tightly. I began to pull on Loka Luha as hard as I could. If it were an actual person, it would not only be choking, but also bleeding, due to the spikes. Out of the blue, I thought of Aizen. Could someone really have the power to kill one of the Squad captains? Then I remembered Captain Ichimaru's uncaring, cocky grin. I pulled harder. He killed him...I know he did...I just need proof. Before someone else dies.
CRACK
I snapped out of my thoughts as I heard the crack of wood. I looked to see that dummy's head has broken off.
"Oh great." I mumbled. I dragged the now floored Loka Luha to see if I can fix the stupid dummy.
"Thats quite a zanpakuto you got there." I jumped, startled, and snapped Loka Luha towards the sound of the voice. I turned my head to see my zanpakuto tightly around the wrist of my captain. He was bleeding a bit. I jumped up and ran to him.
"Captain Hitsugaya! I'm so so so sorry!"I began to unwind Loka Luha from his wrist. "I've just been so nervous lately with the intruders and all...I didn't mean to cut you." I said quickly. He nodded in understanding.
"Everything has been in chaos hasn't it? But you shouldn't worry about it. We'll handle it."
"And what am I supposed to do? Sit around filling out papers all damn day?" I bit my tongue, remembering who was talking to. "Sorry again, Captain." he sighed and ran his fingers through his silvery, spikey hair.
"It'a alright, Mamoko. I understand that you feel helpless just sitting around doing nothing." you got that right. "However, I need you to stay safe along with Rangiku. I cannot and will not let you risk your lives."
"But Captain, isn't that our job?" I argued.
"Don't question me Mamoko." he said crossly. I nodded, but I was furious. Along with EVERYTHING that just happens, he expects me to just sit and watch? That's just wonderful! What if he got hurt? I sighed as he left.
"Yes Captain." I angrily threw Loka Luha at the dummy, striking it in the chest. No. I won't let him risk his life. I refuse to let him die.
Is this a bit better? I hope so! Review please! :D
