Slowly time is trickling by her
Unknown to her
Slowly destroying her...
Her very being evaporating
Her will slowly disintegrating
Everything...fading away into a bootless heap of memories
Oh, how she wishes she could turn back time
If only for a moment
But she can't,
No matter how she yearns
No matter how much she wishes
It can never be
Time is a universal factor that holds no self-restraint
Uncontrollable
Insuppressible
Like the sand in an hourglass
Onecan't halt it
One can't stop it's path
But ratherone can only watch as it quietlypasses by
Minute by minute
Hour by hour
Day by day
But at that moment
To the young girls fragile heart
The unceasing sands of time had reached a standstill
