{Finally guys, I'm so sorry for the delay. I've had most this chapter written for ages. But just couldn't figure out how to get the information to Kamaria before recently. So I've done the best I could on that. Sorry it's not the best.}

As I continued walking around it began to rain, it wasn't bad, just a little drizzle, it felt rather nice. It was the middle of the day, and not all that uncomfortable of a day. But I was getting a little lonely and very tired, maybe a bit hungry as well. Pulling the money from my pocket I counted how much I still had left. I had about $10, I was just wondering where I could find some food now, and even just a gas station would do.

Continuing my walk down the road I looked around at the buildings and the blue gray sky. Taking in a deep breath I closed my eyes and smiled before falling on my butt.

"Ow..."

I opened my eyes to see a brunette girl sitting across from me her phone on the ground next to her.

"I'm so sorry!"

I hurriedly apologized to the girl and stood up reaching my hand down to her. Looking at me she sighed and grabbed my hand pulling herself up.

"It's alright, I wasn't watching where I was going. I was trying to calm an argument over the phone between my friend Beck and his girlfriend."

My eyes widened at the name that fell from her lips.

"You don't mean Beck Oliver do you?"

"I do... how do you-"

I shook my head and released a scream in my mind, maybe things would become a bit easier.

"Could you by any chance... point me in the direction of his home. I've been trying to find it for hours. I haven't been there in a really long time and can't remember how to get there."

She looked at me a bit baffled and in disbelief but once she got her thoughts together she smiled and nodded at me. Writing directions down for me she waved as she hurried off.

"I wish I could take you there myself but I'm really late for a meeting with my friend Andre. Maybe we'll see each other later."

I smiled brightly as she ran off and out of sight.

"Now... maybe I can finally find Beck."

The day slowly started to fade to night, the rain hadn't stopped only intensified from its soft drizzle, and the temperature was turning cold. Pulling my coat around my arms I zipped it up and put the hood on as the rain started coming down heavier. The streets had been evacuated and abandoned as people made refuge in their homes, I however, kept walking, I had nowhere I could go. After awhile the sun had set and the moon had risen coating the world in an icy blanket. From what the girl earlier had told me I wasn't to far off, just a few more miles, I even had an address now.

Keeping myself close too walls of buildings and gates I continued too follow the direction I had been pointed in. The shadows of the night made the fear building within me stronger and the fear build faster. Every now and then the thunder would clap loudly causing me to shake and cower away in fear. I just wanted to get to my destination, I wanted to get there soon, I wanted to be near the one whom always made me feel safe.

I wasn't sure how long I had been walking in the thick rainy night but I finally stood in front of a house, looking up the driveway, a trailer sat just off too the side. Walking up toward the door I remembered what the brunette had mentioned about him living in the trailer, turning around I walked back down toward the small trailer and stood in front of the door. Reaching up, my hand balled in a fist I stopped myself from knocking on the door. I came to a sad realization that the chances of Beck wanting me here was slim to none.

Closing my eyes I took in a deep breath, and drew my hand to my chest. It felt like someone had a grip on my heart and was squeezing it tightly. Beck and I would have conversations with each other over the phone from time to time. But those occasions were rare, and only when my parents were out or passed out drunk. Keeping my eyes shut tightly I reached up and knocked on the door. Listening for some sort of sound I heard nothing at first, but to my surprise I heard the sound of rustling bed sheets and feet on the floor. Opening my eyes I kept my gaze locked on the ground as the door opened.

We stood in silence for what seemed like hours, and I took a chance to scan my gaze up and look at the tired boy. His brown eyes were heavy with sleep yet they stayed locked on me, something in his eyes told me he recognized me but was unsure as to where.

"Beck..."

I spoke quietly, unsure of what to say to the boy. His eyes then opened wider as realization hit, and he grabbed my wrist pulling me toward him. He kept one arm locked around my waist the other around my shoulder blades. I finally was able to let my body break a bit and shake against him. I could feel him shiver as the water from my body began soaking him, and the wind blowing violently.

Pulling me into the trailer he shut the door and locked it. We stood there face to face, both of us a little more awake then before. We just stared at one another as I dripped water all over his floor. He tried speaking multiple times, but the words weren't there, like he didn't know what to say. But I couldn't blame him for that, I would react shocked too if I were in his position. After a few moments the words finally fell from his mouth.

"Kamaria... what... are you doing... here?"

They were slow unsure words, but they were the first words I had heard from his mouth in so long, and his voice felt so comforting and nice to my ears. But all I could do was shake my head, I myself couldn't find the words. Sighing he shook his head in return as well before turning his back to me, and grabbing me a towel from an overhead compartment. Handing it to me I wrapped it around myself and tried drying myself as well as my clothes. I then felt something shake my head back and forth and looked up at the boy drying my hair off, and the smile he had on his face.

"Kam, it might work easier if you take off your soaked clothes. I'll get you something dry to wear."

Turning and walking toward his dresser, he looked over his shoulder at me.

"Kam, I'm not kidding take the wet clothes off."

He growled walking back toward me and ripping my coat off my body. Standing there in my jeans and T-shirt I shivered as a new cold took control of my body. Stepping forward he grabbed my hand and sighed handing me the dry T-shirt that he had pulled from the drawer.

"Just change okay, you'll warm up and then we'll talk alright?"

Nodding my head I slowly unzipped my jeans and stepped out of them, followed by my shirt. It was the first time I realized that the water had soaked through my clothing and down to my underwear. Taking off my bra I pulled the dry T-shirt on, sighing I wrapped my arms around the torso of the boy facing away from me. Without hesitation I felt his turn in my embrace and return his own. Burying my head into his chest he buried his face into my hair.

We stayed like that until he sat me down on the couch and looked me in the eye.

"Kamaria, what are you... doing here?"

Folding my arms I looked at his face. I watched as his gaze trailed down my body and landed on my folded arms. Gripping my wrist in his hand he pulled it forward to examine the scars on my arms.

"Stupid, what's the point?"

"There... isn't really one.

Sighing he wrapped his arms around my shoulders and shook his head.

"Sometimes I wonder if you're smart at all."

"That's not nice..."

I replied looking up at the boy who had began laughing. Pulling away he looked me in the face before coughing and turning away from me. Picking up the television remote he flipped the TV on and settled himself into his seat. Setting his arm on the couch behind my head he flipped through the channels. Grabbing the remote from his hand I flipped to a single channel before sitting on the remote.

"You've done that since we were 5. Learn to settle on a single channel."

Growling at me playfully he punched me softly in the arm.

"Now why would I ever do a thing like that?"

We teased and tormented one another for some time before we finally settled back and watched television in silence. I curled up close to Beck as a chill ran through my body, who in return, wrapped his arm around my shoulders.

"Better?"

Nodding my head I leaned onto his shoulder and slowly fell into the black darkness of sleep.

The next morning I bordered on the edge of consciousness and sleep I could feel the heat from the sun on my face coming through the window. Turning my head I tried blocking the light from piercing my closed eyes. Trying to pull the pillow closer to my face I jumped when I heard it sigh and felt it pull me in closer. The previous night ran through my head, finding my way through the dark streets of Beverly Hills and finally finding Beck's home. I remembered knocking on his door in the dark night and poring rain. I remembered his brown eyes widen in shock and the warmth that he provided in physical and emotional manner.

Slowly I opened my eyes, the light stinging and forcing me to re close them. Eyes still closed I sat up, Beck's arm falling away from my shoulders. I opened my eyes once more, this time, the sun didn't burn them senseless. Looking around I gathered my surroundings, gathered the sights of Beck's small trailer. Standing up I turned and looked back at a sleeping Beck who in return fell to his side on the couch in the after affects of me standing up. He was still completely unconscious on the couch and I wasn't sure what I should do. I didn't want to do anything that would upset Beck, I was just a guest after all. I sat back down on the edge of the couch. After a few short moments I jumped when I heard a knocking at the door. Turning back around to face Beck he lied there half asleep sighing and groaning, his hand waving through the air.

"Kam... will you answer... the-the door?"

He yawned in the middle of his sentence, turning over in his sleep. Walking toward the door I reached for the knob, stopping when I heard shouting from the opposite side of the door.

"HEY BECK! Wake up!"

I jumped back away from the door landing on my butt. Looking around I slowly stood back up and reached my hand out again. Turning the door knob I smiled at the boy standing in front of me. He looked back at me in shock and confusion before he shook it off and entered the RV. I watched as he walked over and pulled Beck off the couch. Beck in turn was startled awake, his brown eyes shooting open and his body standing up right. He looked back and forth as if searching for someone, and sighed when he realized that they weren't there. Beck grabbed his phone from the charger. Groaning he slumped back down on the couch, his hands in his face when he saw the time.

"After everything that happened last night I compelety slept through my alarm."

The boy that I had let in looked at Beck and then at me before grinning.

"What did happen last night Beck?"

He said nodding toward me, Beck stood up and smacked the boy across the head. I just sat there on the couch looking at the two, confused on what was going on and what Beck had been late for.

"Nothing like that happened last night Andre. Kam- I mean this is Kamaria, she's been my best friend since we were children. She showed up late last night in the pouring rain, and I wasn't going to let this girl of all people stand out in the cold. We stayed up watching TV for awhile before we both fell asleep. I was so tired I slept through my alarm."

Beck turned back toward me and put his hands on my shoulders.

"I have to go to school Kam, but we will hang out and talk more when I get back. My dads at work, but mom's in the house. I know she would love to see you. So go hang out with her for a bit. My RV is free game regardless though. Have some sort of fun alright?"

I watched the ceiling as Beck got ready for school but was soon interrupted when a shadow blocked out the light. I was pulled to my feet from my sitting position and embraced in a warm hug, after a few moments I was released and watched Beck grab his back and fly out the door.

"That was fast, less than 5 minutes."

I sat back down on the couch and sighed now bored. Beck told me that his mom would love to see me, but would she even recognize me? I sat on the couch for a little while longer before standing up. Walking toward the door I pushed it open and stepped out into the bright sun. I jumped down from the platform and walked up to his parents door. I stood there looking like an idiot for a little while, but found myself knocking softly on the door.

I looked around at the yard and house before I heard the door open and looked to see a woman standing in front of myself.

"Mr-Mrs Oliver..."

I didn't understand why my voice was cracking and my body was shaking, she was like a mother to me when I was small. She starred at me, her eyes revealing disbelief before she wrapped her arms around me and shuffled me into the house. We chatted for awhile, just like things had never changed before we had some lunch. She was still the same loving lady who had taken care of me and loved me like her own growing up. Hearing the sound of a door opening and closing we both looked over our shoulders to see who had entered. I couldn't help but smile when Beck walked toward us, it didn't seem like it had been that long. But I guess time flies when you're having some fun.

"Good Beck, your home. Take Kamaria too get some new clothes."

"Mr-Mrs Oliver... that's alright, really there isn't a need."

"You came with just the clothes on your back, did you not?"

I nodded my head as she proved her point, I did need some clothes. I couldn't live off one set of under clothes, a pair of jeans, a jacket, t-shirt and coat. Sighing in defeat I wrapped my arms around her in appreciation.

"Thank you."

Beck grabbed my hand and pulled me out the door, heading back toward the RV. He opened the door and tossed his bag in before returning it to it's closed position. Leading me to his car he opened the door for me, I stood there like a fool not knowing what to do.
