Donna groaned as she began to blink her eyes open. She tried to look around, but fabric blocked her vision. She began to struggle, and vaguely noticed through her pounding headache that her limbs felt strange. Donna's breath came faster as she struggled to escape. At last she poked her head out and blinked at the size of everything else. Well that's different. She looked down at herself to make sure that everything was alright. She gasped as she saw red fur. "Doctor!" She yowled.
A brief thumping came from her right. Turning she saw a brown cat. "What!?" She yelled at nearly the same time as the Doctor. "You're a cat." She stated, "I'm a cat."
The Doctor stumbled over. "This is quite strange." He murmured. "I've never had four legs before."
Donna stepped out of her clothes. "What happened?" She demanded.
The Doctor's ears twitched. "I don't know." He meowed. "I suppose that I'll have to run some tests." He turned and leapt for the console. His front paws caught and his hind legs clawed for support. Donna's whiskers twitched as she watched the Doctor climb up.
The Doctor's tail twitched as he walked to the screen. He began to paw at it, frowning at what he saw.
"What is it?" Donna asked.
"The Tardis got damaged in the crash. She's not showing me useful information about our location." He sighed. "We have to leave until she repairs herself."
"For how long?" Donna questioned.
"At least a day. I could access more information if I was still in a humanoid form, but I'm not used to trying to operate her as a cat." He jumped down and stumbled, almost landing on his face. "Well then, I suppose that we should head outside and figure out our new bodies and where we are." The Doctor meowed as he walked closer to her.
"We might as well." Donna agreed as she attempted to walk toward the door. She watched as the Doctor easily overtook her. "How are you so good at this?"
"I'm used to getting used to new forms." He replied as he stopped at the door and looked back. The Doctor grinned at her, "Shall we?"
