First day of school*

~*Ariel and Belle*~

Ariel pulled into the parking spot that had been assigned to her when she signed up for classes. It took a few minutes to find and she had almost taken the wrong exit, as there were many places to go in the Disney parks area. People drove pretty crazy, missing their turn and cutting across traffic in this area so it was a little nerve wracking for the girls to get to their destination. The students would be meeting up at Epcot, as it had the most space of any of the parks, the perfect place to house a school.

"I can't believe we're finally here." Belle said to her friend, looking up at Spaceship Earth. The girls wouldn't be going through the normal entrance for guests, there was a special back entrance they would be going to, to get to their dorms. They were supposed to meet up with the rest of the students and get their room assignments in Future World at the Glass Pyramids of Imagination by the jumping fountains. After getting their room assignments and getting unpacked, the students would attend a welcome class, sort of like orientation, where they would be given their class schedule and given their respective park assignments for their on the job training.

The girls walked into the Glass Pyramids and were greeted by a hologram of Figment, Epcot's mascot, at the counter.

"Hello, we are new students here and are ready for our room assignments." Bell stated, stepping up to the desk. Figment smiled, not saying a word as he handed the girls their room keys and numbers.

"208, what do you have?" Ariel asked Belle, turning the key over in her hand and looking at her best friend.

Belle's shoulders slumped as she looked back at Ariel with pain in her eyes.

"209." She replied shortly. Ariel knew Belle was upset with her. It was her fault after all. She had been lazy and taken too long to register.

Ariel looked back at Belle, trying to find the words to apologize, even though she knew whatever she said at this point wasn't going to make a difference and she was just going to have to let Belle get over her anger alone.

"Well, alright, lets just get to our rooms and get everything unpacked so we don't miss orientation." Belle said, venom in her voice.

Ariel sighed and followed after her friend. At least their rooms were next to each other, right?

~*Jasmine*~

Jasmine was the next to arrive, walking through the doors to the Pyramid and up to the counter where Figment's hologram sat. Without word, Figment handed her the room number and key.

Jasmine took the elevator up to the second floor and looked at the room numbers as she walked down the hall, looking for hers. She found her door and slid the key into the lock slowly opening the door and taking a look around her new room for the next 10 months. There was a kitchen to the right, with a full sized fridge, a stove/ oven and a rather small counter with a sink right in the middle. No dishwasher but she didn't really mind. It might be kind of nice to do something so menial as washing dishes without making palace workers do it for her.

There was a bathroom to the right and further into the room, there were two twin sized beds up against either wall, on either side of one long desk in between with two computer chairs pushed up against it.

"You must be my new roomie." A voice came from the bed on the left side. "My name is Belle." The girl continued, setting a giant stack of books on her side of the desk, which Jasmine noticed were the required reading for the semester.

"I'm Jasmine." She replied, looking back at the girl. "Very nice to meet you."

The girl nodded and went back to unpacking. "Likewise."

Jasmine noticed something off about the girl, like she was upset about something. I hope she isn't going to have this attitude for the rest of the semester. Jasmine thought, throwing her bags onto her own bed and starting to unpack.

~*Mulan and Shang*~

Mulan and Shang had arrived at the Orlando airport and looked around at the gigantic area. They were both taken aback with how many people were there, as well as shops and restaurants. They boarded a special bus for students, that would take them directly to the back entrance to Epcot. They noticed another boy in the bus, sitting all the way to the back by himself. He had a sour look on his face that made them sit in the front, far enough away form him that no one would have to attempt any type of small talk. The boy was pretty big in the shoulders and Shang couldn't tell how tall he actually was because he was sitting down of course but noted that he would make a great soldier.

He must be on the football team. Shang thought to himself as he slipped his bag into one of the overhead compartments and slid down into his seat next to Mulan. The ride took about 20 minutes and in no time, the three students were making their way to the Glass Pyramids. As the bus started to slow down, the quiet brooding boy rushed to the front. He had reached the bus door before they had even come to a full stop, ensuring that he would make it off before them.

As Mulan and Shang walked in, the boy was already walking towards the elevator, key and room number in hand.

"Man, I hope I don't have to room with him." Shang grumbled to Mulan as they walked up to the counter and Figment's hologram. The two were handed their keys and room numbers, Mulan 208 and Shang 107. The elevator let Shang off first and he said a quick goodbye to Mulan as the elevator doors closed behind him.

Mulan continued up to the second floor and slid her key into the lock of room 208. As soon as she entered, she was greeted with music blasting from a speaker somewhere in the room. The room was set up the same as 209 where Belle and Jasmine were, the only difference being the kitchen was on the left and the bathroom on the right. And speaking of the bathroom, when Mulan looked in, she noticed it was already a complete disaster. There was water all over the counter and floor and the clothes of her new roommate were strewn about. Some on the floor, some hanging off the side of the tub.

"Hey roomie!" Came a shout over the music. Mulan looked into the room and saw a girl laying on the bed on the right hand side, feet up on the wall, phone in her hands. Mulan looked from the half empty Starbucks cup on the desk that separated the beds to the luggage bags laying open on the floor.

This girl is a disaster. She thought, holding back a look of disgust because she knew her new roommate was watching her.

"Hello." She half yelled over the deafening trance music that was filling the room. Her roommate started to yell something but Mulan stopped her and put her finger up to her ear indicating that she couldn't hear anything. A look of realization crossed the girl's face as she hit the pause button on her phone and the room went silent.

"Sorry about that. I was just going to apologize about the bathroom. It's just so hot here and I was sweating so bad that I had to get a shower in right away. I'll make sure I clean it up after orientation."

Mulan plastered a fake smile on her face and nodded as she set her bags down on the bed and began to unpack.

I'm not going to clean up after this girl all year if that's what she thinks. Mulan thought, pulling out her clothes and beginning to put them away in drawers.

~*Beast*~

Beast started to set up his trophies on his side of the room when he heard the key turning in the door. He spun around to see the boy he had seen with the girl on the bus earlier. He rolled his eyes and grunted before he went back to unpacking.

"Hello, I'm Shang." The boy said, walking into the room and closing the door behind him. Beast raised his hand in a hello, his back still turned. He already knew that he didn't want to be friends with this boy and to him, there was no sense in making friends with him. They would just be roommates and that was it. Beast didn't plan on staying in the room much anyway, as soon as he made some friends in this school that he actually wanted to hang out with.

Shang, taking the hint, went to his side of the room and started unpacking his own things. It didn't really upset him that the boy didn't want to talk, he knew when not to pushing a friendship, he just knew he wasn't going to have a friend in this boy and that was perfectly fine with him.

~*Eric and Aladdin*~

Eric unloaded his luggage off of his ship, that he had docked at Port Canaveral for the school year, and boarded a shuttle bus to Orlando, almost another hour ride. In that time, he had made pretty good friends with another boy on the bus named Aladdin, who wasn't carrying much but a bag and a weird purple carpet. The boy looked like he didn't have a lot of money and rather than be rude and ask what the deal with the carpet was, Eric just assumed it was some family heirloom or something that was important to the boy and left it at that. He did see it move strangely a few times but assumed it was just from the bus bouncing up and down.

The two were dropped off at the back entrance and made their way to the desk and Figment's hologram like the rest of the students had done.

"Nice! Same room!" The boys exclaimed, high fiving after realizing they had both gotten room 106. The boys made their way to their room and played rock paper scissors over which bed they would each get. Aladdin was excited at the prospect that he would be making a friend so quickly and hoped that he and Eric would stay friends for the remainder of the school year. Of course, had hadn't had many friends growing up, never experiencing school before. The only friends he ever had were some of the other street boys and they weren't always the nicest to him.

Eric on the other hand, was very popular in school, although he assumed it has something to do with the money he had. At least with this boy, he didn't know anything about his wealth and wanted to be his friend regardless. Now, if he would just work up the courage to talk to Ariel this year it may just be the best freshman year ever.
