I awoke the next morning to the sound of someone knocking at my door but I didn't answer right away, still too sleepy to want to get out of bed. With a groan I pulled a pillow over my head in attempt to drown out the noise.

"Miss Tetra.." the voice of the person outside the door called.

"What is it..' I grumbled as the door slowly opened as Nudge entered, the sound of his boots hitting the floor reverberated throughout the otherwise silent room.

Nudge was one of my crew members back when we used to sail the seas, usually guarding the door to my cabin. He was basically my second mate, the first mate being the ship's steering man Gonzo.

"The guest will be here soon, so you must get ready." he stated.

"Ugh...fine.." replied, yawning as I stretched in bed and sat up "I'll get ready, you can get back to work."

"Yes, Miss Tetra" he answered before leaving.

I got up and washed my face at the water basin to wake myself up a bit more, then headed to the wardrobe. I got stuck deciding what to wear, I considered wearing one of the dresses I was forced to get made when my crew and I founded what is now known as New Hyrule. It was a nice green dress with straps instead of sleeves and a golden design on the front and gold belt. I only wore dresses for the most important occasions that required it like balls or festivals in neighboring countries. Thank Goddesses those event were rare so I didn't have to wear dresses that often.

After a lot of consideration I opted to wear my favorite outfit consisting of a white button up blouse with frills on the front that would be seen under my blue and white patterned overcoat all worn with a black skirt and black high-heeled boots. I also put on my white hand gloves as a finishing touch.

Overall the outfit was one fit for a pirate captain which is what made it my favorite, it reminded me of a time when I was much more rebellious and mischievous. It also was an outfit that was normally deemed inappropriate for a lady which is another reason to love it. It said "piss off" to whoever didn't like it and stated that I wasn't here to win anyone's approval, I'm here to get things done and that's that.

With a smile on my face I looked in the mirror one last time and left the room, putting my hair into a high pony-tail as I went, leaving my side bang and some hair to frame my face as I made my way down to the dining room for breakfast.

I was greeted with plenty of "Good morning Your Highness" and "Good morning Miss Tetra" as I entered the dining hall where some of my men were already sitting down to eat as maids and other staff not part of the kitchen group left as their meals were finished. I nodded and gave a smile in reply as I sat down in my seat next to Gonzo and Link.

"So busy day with the guest coming and all huh?" Link smiled as one of the staff put a plate of food in front of me.

"Thanks" I told her with a smile and turned back to Link "Yeah, I wonder who Ocaodon sent, probably someone with a stick up their arse" I replied, winning a laugh from others at the table.

Most of the bureaucrats and ambassadors I negotiated with were definitely stuck up and unpleasant to be around. They looked upon New Hyrule as primitive or perhaps more of a commoners home since we were still getting started, building up villages and gaining a larger population. I was just glad my men, now as appointed ministers of my counsel were there to help me out. I was also a bit glad that since the whole ordeal with Ganondorf oh so long ago, my more princess-like side that comes from being Zelda has been showing a bit more as I adjusted to this life, probably the reason I haven't smacked some of those snobs from the other countries in the face when they made rude snarky remarks about New Hyrule and its people, especially my swabbies. I did not appreciate anyone insulting my loyal men.

"Probably" another old crew mate of mine, Niko, answered "that Dmitri from Yalella was a right prick."

"He called the people 'a lot of dirty renegades'" Zuko grumbled out over a bit of breakfast in his mouth.

That was not too far from the truth, many of the newcomers in New Hyrule were people who had left their own countries for one reason or another, a very common reason being that they were considered renegades back home and came here for a fresh start., though I still was irritated by that comment. Such rudeness was uncalled for.

"At least Miss Tetra here gave the ol' jerk the what for" said another crew mate, Mako, over his book. I smirked at the thought of the witty retort I had given.

"Oh, by the way Lord Dmitri, next time you call a countries population a bunch of low-lives, perhaps you should take care of your own countries number of rogues that you still have not succeeded in putting behind bars. Does not show much competence does it" I recited, earning another wave of laughter and "true that" from my boys.

The rest of the conversation over breakfast was some more reminiscing of other stuck up visitors I had to endure the presence of. Afterwards I told my men to go back to work overseeing things in the kingdom while I took a few guards outside with me to the entrance to Castletown, one of the first living areas built in New Hyrule, that quickly became a city as it sat right in front of the castle walls.

It was about ten minutes later that a carriage arrived, my view of it soon blocked as my guards formed a line in front of me. I could hear it coming to a stop and as the sound of horses' hooves quieted and the coachman got up from his seat at the reins and headed to the carriage door.

"Now presenting, Prince Seth of Ocaodon" spoke the coachman's voice and I knew he had opened the door once I heard the sound of someone stepping out of it. A prince huh? That just might be worse than an ambassador or bureaucrat, they tended to be even more stuck up and spoiled, never having to have worked to make a living. They thought that being born wealthy and with high status gave them all the rights in the world. I couldn't help but roll my eyes as the word 'prince' reached my ears.

"Now presenting, Queen Tetra of New Hyrule" my head guard spoke and soon I could see Seth, the coachman, and the carriage as my guards parted to make a path for me.

I looked at who I assumed to be Prince Seth, seeing as he was the only one not bowed formally and he was wearing clothing worthy of a prince, well cut trousers with a formal jacket with cuffs, a sash, and a cape, finished off with well polished boots. I all creamed royalty. I wouldn't say he was bad looking though, in fact, I would even call Seth handsome. He had brown hair that seemed to defy gravity as it stuck up in the front, side burns framed his face but it made him look more attractive. His eyes were a warm chocolate color and I could tell that if I looked closely at his face, I would probably spot a few freckles. Yep, Handsome alright, but I wasn't gonna worry about him being a pretty boy, this was all about business and once that was done I probably wouldn't see much of him again.

I couldn't help the smirk that formed on my lips as I approached him as I walked on the path the guards and made me. Seth's eyes widened and his mouth formed an "O" of surprise. Awww, he's scandalized by my clothes. I chuckled internally. I quickly composed myself with a neutral expression as I drew closer to him.

"Greetings, Prince Seth" I spoke, bowing instead of curtsying "Welcome, to New Hyrule."
