"See I told you so."
Draco said leaning against my bedpost; starring at his hand of cards.
"You don't need too be such a prat about it."
Shrugging his shoulders he sat down on the bed and laid down his hand.
"Four 7's and a 10."
"I think I won again."
"Seriously?"
He replied annoyed collapsing backward on the blankets. We had been playing cards for the past two hours or so, and lets just say Draco's skill for cards was less than stellar.
"How is it you've won just about every hand?"
"Not sure, you may just need too learn some new skill when it comes to cards."
He glared darkly at me and all I could do was giggle. His scowl immediately changed into a smile as he started laughing.
"And there is Alex's lost smile."
I stopped laughing but continued to smile.
"Thank you Draco, for everything."
He really was a great person and fantastic friend. I watched him as he began gathering up the cards and putting them away.
"Ah, don't you want too play again?"
"Not likely, I'm tired of loosing to you."
Folding my arms I pouted before hearing a knock on the door. Both Draco and I looked up as his mother walked in the room smiling.
"Bed time kids."
She said walking toward us. Draco stood up and walked to the door, cards in hand.
"Sounds great."
He replied grinning as he vacated the room.
"I take it you've been winning your card game."
"He's just a soar loser."
She chuckled lightly and wrapped me in a hug, before standing up, heading to the door and shutting off the light.
"Sleep well Alexandria."
As soon as the door was closed I lied down and curled up in a ball under my blankets. Closing my eyes I sighed, I guess there were some good parts of living here.
