My Final Battle

I do not fear my death,

Now rapidly approaching;

I only revel in the death I have wrought upon

Others.

I lay smiling in the field of

Carnage around me, the bodies of my foes

Completing their purpose: my bloodlust, my need to

Kill.

I have yearned long for this moment of glory;

Of thrusting my spiked sword,

Piercing souls, memories, causing the legends to die.

I have avenged the deaths of my innocent family.

Now I am a legend, a warrior, now I am at

Peace.
