Cyborg was rewiring and fixing his leg that had gotten blasted off in a mission they had earlier that day and grumbled to himself the stresses of being a hero. Robin walked into the room, his demeanor mean and rugged, Cyborg tensed as he felt his leader walk up behind him.

"I need you to fix the security monitors in the evidence lab"

Cyborg ignored his demanding attitude and continued to attend to his leg before replying to his leader.

"Good morning to you to. Also, the breach was just Silkie falling through the air vent and in the room."

He remembered the whole fiasco a few days earlier. The mutated larvae had began to eat the air vents from Starfire's bedroom all the way to the evidence room and had fallen through because of his sudden weigh gain. Luckily, Cyborg was able to quickly seal the damage and everyone kept on their merry way. Except for one member.

"Yes, but Silkie is stupid creature and if a stupid creature like him could get into that room so easily, why couldn't someone else? One of our enemies maybe?" Robin began to spit out and defend himself.

Like a cornered dog bearing his fangs. Cyborg couldn't see through the mask but he felt the intense heated gaze of his team leader and sighed in defeat. In a way he was glad the 'Grass stain' was gone; so he didn't have to put up with Robins bullshit.

"Alright Rob, lemme finish up here and I'll be right over" He said indicating to his very busted leg. Robin nodded his head, his stoic facade unchanging and proceeded to walk out of the room.

He walked passed Starfire but didn't acknowledge her. She eyed him bitterly as she still didn't understand his motives. She felt threatened by him and found it hard even sleeping at night. What if he turned his back on her the way he did with Beast Boy? The thought made her shiver but she pushed those thoughts back and proceeded to check on her robotic friend. She walked up to him with a smile, placing a hand on his metallic shoulder.

"How is your leg?" He smiled and shrugged nonchalantly as to try and not worry his female friend.

"Well, it's not done for. It looks worse than what is really is. Nothing I can't fix" He assured her. Her eyes brightened and her smile widened.

"That's joyous news! So you can walk again?" She asked innocently. Cyborg chuckled at her with a wide smile of his.

"Hell yeah Star. Who do you think I am? I can walk with sticks if you get me enough of them" The alien princess began to giggle and pointed out

" I think a tree stump would be better"

"Hey are you calling me fat?" Starfires expression changed from joyous to worried and she began to studder and babble

"No! I was only doing the jokes with you. I didn't mean to harm you feelings in any manner-"

"Star... I was just kidding"

"Oh.." Silence was passed and they burst out in a roar of laughter. It gave them a sense of relief because even now when times where getting difficult, moments like this gave them drive as it reminded them of a more perfect time. They cherished being able to stay the same if anything this made them closer.

Cyborg finally reattached his leg and stood up, swaying his leg back and forth, twisting it side to side to see if he had done everything correctly.

"Well, I gotta go fix something in bird brains lab" He stretched out his back before yawning and walked toward the door, waving his friend a temporary goodbye.

Cyborg had spent a good amount of time securing every nook and cranny in the room. He finally had been almost done with the rooms control box, updating and installing the security defenses and offenses. The control box was huge. Not enough for him to stand up straight, but enough for him to hunch over and work on anything.

He wiped sweat off of his brow and began to tidy as he found himself finished when something had caught his eye. Behind some of the wiring was a bottle. a small orange pill bottle. He pulled his head out of the control box and scanned the room, making sure he was alone and the coast was clear before continuing to examine the bottle.

"Just some weird pills?" He said to himself bringing them closer to his face, scanning them with his eyes.

'It's probably Robins Viagra" He snickered at the thought.

'These aren't your usual pills" Their odd color mixture of brown and blue seemed strange to trust, and Cyborg knew strange. In his honest opinion, it looked like vomit compressed into a pill. He's seen just about every pill/ antidote there was, genetically enhanced, mechanical, medicinal, but this one just didn't seem right.

he opened the bottle and brought a pill to his nose sniffing and letting the scent kick its way through. His face contorted in disgust. The smell was putrid, like sulfer... and rotten skin.

"This shit smells like vomit" He said half gagging. He was about to place the bottle in his chest compartment for further examination but stopped as a thought crept into his head. Who's is this? What if someone put this here for a reason? He didn't want to take any chances and get caught red handed. He grabbed a couple of pills and hid it in the compartment in his chest, putting the bottle back in its place. He closed the control box and screwed the back back on.

He smiled mischievously as he scanned the room once more proudly. He knew, he just knew that Robin was up to something and he would be the one to catch him. At every corned and under every table, desk and chair he had placed microscopic cameras and microphone.

"Now, I don't have to feel guilty about setting these up" He had planned to bug the room as soon as Robin told him to secure the room. It made him suspicious, hell anything Robin has said or done has been suspicious the past month. For a moment, Cyborg had began to feel guilt for not trusting his comrade, but that was before he had found potential evidence to Robins new psycho case.

"Now, I can test these new babies out" He turned the lights off in the room and activated the bugs before walking to the Living room and yelling out.

"WHO'S HUNGRY? I'M FEELING BRAZILIAN TONIGHT!" He said enthusiastically. There had been a new Brazilian restaurant that opened a couple blocks from the pizza place and Cyborg had fallen in love with it when he first tried it 3 months ago.

"Sounds good, I'm down" Robin said jumping off the couch and the girls followed behind.

B.B POV

"Mark! Get over here!" Fuck. There goes my boss. He had been chasing me around the restaurant all day for stupid shit and I was on my literal last nerve with him. I finished counting my tips that I had earned from serving today and stuffed the money in my pocket, muttering curses and quickly ran to my boss' office. I peeked my head into the room and watch as my boss was angrily shuffling through paper and I quietly asked him

"Yes, Mr. Balboa?" His face had been startled for a moment as I had just cut off his moment of grumbling and then he yelled out to me

"Get in here! I need you to work an extra shift tonight. " I walked in coolly and sat in the chair that was waiting for me in front of his desk.

"How long extra?"

"6 hours" My eyes widened with shock and then my eyes went to his old fashioned clock on his desk that read 8 o'clock pm and felt dread warm up my body.

"Sir with all due respect, I can't. I have school tomorrow and I would end up leaving here by 2am" The man slammed his hand on his desk before grabbing a lose cigar and lighting up, blowing smoke in my face. Typical.

"Do you think I care about your school? I have a business to run and bills to pay, and the last time I checked, so do you! Right now this job is saving you from being in the streets. NOT YOUR SCHOOL" He yelled out slamming his fist against the desk once more and he stood up, his dark brown eyes peering into my deep blue ones. I felt my nostrils flare as we continued to stare each other down. Like the alpha and omega in a wolf pack about to fight for dominance. I squeezed my nails into the palm of my hand and looked away attempting to hold back my anger. As much as I hated to admit it, he was right.

"I understand " I got up and tried to exit the room, but of course, was stopped by him again.

"And where do you think you're going? I didn't dismiss you"

I looked over my shoulder giving him an icy look

"Yes, but I have two full tables. One with four and one with six that are still waiting for their drinks, think of the money that pays your bills walking right out of the door. I have a business to run and bills to pay, right sir?"
