Lucy smiled as she drove her jeep into her father's property. She then clicked the vehicle off and took the keys out. Michael and Sam quickly jumped out of the jeep, neither wanting to be cramped up anymore as they had been in the jeep for hours now. Anook, the family husky also scampered from the vehicle, quickly darting this way and that. Picking up all the interesting smells in his wet black nose. The two young brothers laughed as they watched the dog run off and begin to chase the horses which were in a paddock beyond the house. Both males then looked around silently and then followed their mother up to the front door where they could see a man laid out on the deck."Dad? Dad!" Lucy called to her father leaning over him slightly, sounding worried for the elderly man. "Looks like he's dead" Michael intoned with a snigger as he looked down at his little brother. Sam made a face before saying "If he's dead can we go back to Phoenix?". The older man, named Joel sat up and blinked at his grandsons. He stood and began to have a conversation with them and their mother as he helped them unpack. It was all rather uneventful.
Soon enough the family had finished unpacking the minimal amount of gear they had brought with them. "Mum can we please go into town? Mike will come with me" Sam asked as he pulled slightly on his large band tee-shirt. "Alright. But not out too late okay?" Lucy replied smiling as she watched Sam run upstairs to tell his brother they were going into town. Her two sons had grown up so fast, she really couldn't believe it. At least they hadn't been badly effected by the divorce. Michael himself had even stated that he thought it had been the best thing for all of them considering their father had a second whole family which he certainly cared more about. Sam banged several times on his brothers door, attempting to gain entry though his brother likely couldn't hear the knocking over his headphones which would have been up at full volume. Sammie sighed and walked into his brothers room, earning a 'Hey! What're you doing in here!' in response. Michael pulled his headphones off after yelling at his little brother from the bed, who stood silently staring at him. "I was knocking for like ten minutes man! Your going to go deaf with all that metal music you play" Sam stated as he flopped over on his big brothers bed. "Haha yeah right. So what did you want?" Michael asked as he shoved his feet at Sam making the boy fall from the bed with a groan. "Mum said we can go into town! She didn't even say we couldn't take your motorbike!" Sammie announced as he bounced back to his feet. Michael merely laughed and stood grabbing his keys and leather jacket, Sam hot on his heels.
Meanwhile somewhere up near the point loud ruckus was going on as a group of teens played there version of catch. The lost pack as their only female member called them, were enjoying a game of see who can toss the ball the furthest off the cliff and retrieve it before hitting the water. Marceline shook her head at the males antics. She really couldn't wait till the others joined their pack. She was sick and tired of being the only female, having any sort of female influence other than hers would do the pack a world of good in her opinion. Speaking of the new members she decided it was about time they left for the boardwalk. So she quickly stood and jumped onto her bike, revving it loudly and roaring off down the dirt track.
"Where's she going?" David the unsaid leader asked, looking across to the slightly hyper Paul. "Oh crap um… She told me earlier that something awesome would happen on the boardwalk tonight! I forgot haha!" Paul managed to get out before he ended up cracking up in laughter. He was always like this when he was excited about something. Also it normally meant he had been feeding of someone else's emotions, mostly Marceline's. Dwayne shook his head at the ditsy blondes antics and slowly walked back into their abandoned hotel home, taking it upon himself to inform the last member of their gang that they were heading out for the night. Within seconds he was at his destination, in front of the darkest part of the caves. "Bro…" Dwayne asked quietly, staring into the dark attempting to see something though he knew it was futile. These weren't ordinary shadows after all.
Within the shadowy darkness a rough voice sounded "Yeah?". Dwayne smiled to himself, Broderick seemed to be in for once, rather than mysteriously missing like he normally was. "We're all going to town. You coming?" Dwayne inquired as the shadows before him began to lessen. The room in front of the long haired brunette was a large one, large enough to be a garage which it seemed to be half made of. This place was Broderick's domain, where he created all sorts of things. Mostly stuff for the other guys, and sometimes for Marceline too. Things that while they could easily buy just hadn't gotten to getting. Currently it looked like Broderick was working on something electrical as far as Dwayne could tell. Broderick looked up at his friend, saying nothing for a moment before he stood and put on his leather jacket obviously deciding to join in on the happenings.
"So any clue where we're going?" Broderick asked loudly over the roar of their bike engines. Paul laughed and shrugged while pointing to his mate who was ahead of them some ways, stopped outside some shop on the beach front, that all the boys recognized and couldn't help but sigh about. It was the 'Tattooed Frog', a Tattoo parlour run by two guys who looked barely 15 themselves. Though if one was to go into the shop on certain days they might catch a glimpse of two much older people behind the scenes, though both looked to be totally out of their minds and no one paid them any heed. And what made the Lost boys react negatively to this place? Well the two guys running it were under the impression that the lost pack were a bunch of vampires. Blood thirsty vampires ready to kill anyone they wanted to. Plus David still owed them money for the last tattoo he'd gotten through them, and that was certainly a sore spot for the Frog brothers.
