"This is B…" the nurse started, pointing at me.

"NOOO!" I yelled gaining a look from both of the people in the room. "I don't really like my name." I said. The boy held out his hand.

"I'm Marshall Lee." I stared at his pale hand that was reaching out for a handshake. He dropped it to his side after an awkward minute.

"I am… Gumball." I blushed at him looking at my hands.

"Ok gumball, can you stay here?" he asked getting a quizzical look from the nurse.

"Why wouldn't I?" I asked. This time it was my turn to get confused 'are you stupid?' looks from both of them.

"Umm…" he replied "do you not go to school here?" he asked. Cue facepalm.

"Yes, yes I do. I just had a stupid moment… of course I'll stay for a bit." I said, little crinkles formed at the sides of his red eyes, he laughed. The nurse muttered something about calling the teacher and getting some pain killers.

"So umm… thanks for carrying me here." He raked his hand through his hair making it messier than it was. he stared at me with big red eyes.

"No problem… can I ask you a question?" I asked

"You just did." He smirked.

"Can I ask you two questions?" I asked.

"Just did." He smirked more. I saw his plot so I did something I thought would outsmart him.

"Can I ask you four questions?" it was my turn to smirk I thought but his expression stood un-wavered.

"You just have." He said.

"No!" I said exasperated.

"But you will." He shrugged.

"When…?" I paused realizing that his point was proven. "I'm asking you a question." I proclaimed.

"okay." He said "what's on your mind, Gumby?" He asked.

"Why are your eyes red?" I asked.

"'cause I'm an albino." He shrugged.

"But your hair…it's black." I say confused.

"Hair dye doofus, white haired teens are generally ostracized." He explained.

"Oh. But so do red eyed people." I countered.

"that's why I wear this people don't generally see my eyes." He pulls a pair of red rimed sunglasses from his pocket.

"But I did!" I said triumphantly.

"No duh." he rolled his eyes and smiled.

The nurse came back into the room and shooed me out to go to class. 'Marshall lee' I thought. this guy was definitely worth getting to know.
