That's it, they were dead. No exceptions, no doubts, and no way were they going to make it out of here in one piece. Here he was, staring in horror at the remains of an absolutely ancient vase, in Russia's house no less, with a "friend" smirking down at the wreckage triumphantly.

How had it come to this?

The day started as average as could be. That would soon change, as it always did on days like these.

Namely, days Poland suggested he and Lithuania get together for some classic "bestie time" (as he would often put it). And he absolutely dreaded it.

Now, it wasn't as if Lithuania didn't like Poland or appreciate him making room for the two of them to spend together, it was just.. Things could get a little.. Hectic, with him. Constantly. In fact, he could recall a number of times where things didn't quite go as planned, or got a little too messy, or a little too hostile or.. Various other things.

Needless to say, Lithuania felt justified in his apprehension for the day ahead. Which was why it took him by surprise when Poland had only called him over because he had a new movie that he didn't want to watch alone, and things continued to play out as an average day. Until..

"Liet, I'm bored," Poland sighed, making a show of dropping back into his couch cushions and watching his friend out of the corner of his eye. That was the first warning sign.

There was silence in to room for a moment, mostly due to Lithuania trying to find a way to respond to that, before Poland shot back up with that grin of his plastered on his face.

"Let's do something fun." That was the second sign. It should have been clear at this point that he was up to something, and that a not-so-safe and not-so-conventional plan was forming in his mind.

"...What did you have in mind, Po?" And that was the trigger.

"We're going to.." Poland paused, before jumping up off the couch, pulling Lithuania with him, and continuing. "Do some recon at Russia's place!" By that he meant break in and snoop around. Lithuania was not amused.

And yet, somehow, here he was. Time to take control of the situation.

"Poland!"

"Yeah, bestie?"

"We're getting out of here," Lithuania practically hissed the sentence, as he grabbed Poland's arm and began to tug him away. "Now."

Poland just shrugged, and allowed him to do so. He had obviously gotten what he wanted out of the expedition, and was content to see themselves out.

They ended up climbing out of a window. Lithuania decided Poland was a terrible friend. But later, when thinking back to experiences of tossing caution to the wind and then running as fast as you could from a situation, hand in hand with a dear friend.. He realized it was actually pretty fun, and that maybe Poland wasn't so bad after all.

A/N: Okay this is probably the worst. I wrote and published it on my phone, AND in less than two hours at that, so I know it's terrible. But.. Well, I'm writing again. And I have plans.

Among those plans are hopefully more stories for this collection, but I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing with this. Annnd on that note, if, for some reason, you like this... I will do requests! They can be vague as "story about character a?" or something specific, and I'll do mostly anything as long as it isn't rated above T.

Thanks, til next time!
