Next chapter! Yay! Sorry for the wait! PS if anyone wants to make me a picture for the cover that'd be super cool

And dedicated to sam again for leaving the best review I was smiling

The bell rang and Dez and I walked to his locker to get his lunch. We got mine on the way to his. The lunch food is gross and it takes, like, ten years to actually get so we usually bring it.

"Brooke thinks you spilt your coffee cause you were distracted," Dez said, mentioning it for the first time since it happened.

"Oh yeah?" I asked, casually.

"Yeah," he replied. "She thinks you for distracted because Ally walked in."

I tried not to choke on air. "Trish walked in, too."

"Yeah," Dez said as he entered his locker combination. "But you've talked to Trish before. Never were distracted then."

I'm so sick of hearing about Ally. They keep acting like I'm gonna stick with one girl.

"How would you know I don't talk to Ally?" I asked. "She's in my gym class, you know."

Dez shut his locker, holding his bag. "Yeah," he said. "I'm in your gym class, too. And you never talk to her. Not even when you're on the same team."

"Because I don't have a reason to."

He shrugged. "Whatever. Just be lucky she said it to only me and not the whole table."

We eventually got to the table and Cassidy jumped from her seat, giving me a huge kiss on my cheek. This captured the attention of many girls.

"Hey babe," she said. "What time are you babysitting your neighbor?"

I turned to Dez and he mouthed 5 to 7.

"Uh, 5 to 7. Why?"

She twirled her fingers in my hair. "I just wanted to hang out with you after school. Think we can?"

There is an extremely hot girl with her fingers in my hair. Why would I say no?

I smirked and grabbed her waist. "Of course we can hang out. I'll walk you home."

Dez shot me a look but I have him a "I'll talk about it later" look.

So my plans for today:

Hang out with my hot (yet annoying) girlfriend, go to the movies with Dez and his friends, and then go to Dallas's place.

This is gonna be fun.

I walked out of the locker room with Dallas. We sat on the bleachers waiting for everyone else.

"Hi Austin," Kayla Henderson said to me.

She's okay. She has auburn hair and bright blue eyes. She's not hot, but she's nice, and I've been trying to be nicer, so I said hey back.

Dallas was next to me fixing his sneakers.

We usually like to tie them after the locker room because, well, I don't know why.

I leaned down to tie mine when I heard a familiar laugh ring through the gym. I look up and see Ally walking out of the girls locker room with Trish.

I try to look away and clear my throat. I can't make it seem obvious.

The gym teacher took attendance then told us we were gonna play soccer.

I'm great at soccer, just like most sports, so along with other guys, I let out a "yesssss."

"Team shirts go on that side of the gym," Coach Ryan said. "Pinies go on the other. Shirts will be Dez, Peyton, Brandon, Kayla, Nicole, Dallas, Ashley,

Rafael, Valery, Juan, Austin, Mariah, and Alexandra. Rest are pinnys."

I for up and went to the further end of the court.

"Who plays soccer?" I asked when we reached out spot. Dallas, Rafael, Juan and Brandon said they do. "Do any of you girls?"

Kayla shyly rose her hand. "I do."

"Me too," said Alexandra.

Valery said she also does.

We so had this.

I mean, gym class soccer sucks, but whatever.

The game eventually started with Me, Dallas, Peyton, and Rafael playing forward. Kayla, Valery, And Dez played defense, and Juan had goal.

The rest were sitting out.

I just happened to notice Ally was sitting out with Trish on the other team too.

The game started playing it went well. We were dominating.

Then it happened.

Dallas passed me the ball and I jogged it up the court, faking people out as I did.

Then I fell.

I tripped over my shoe laces, got all jumped up, and tripped forward, landing straight on my stomach.

If this was school I wouldn't yelled out a swear word, because that hurt like hell.

Every stopped. Coach Ryan asked if I was okay because he legally had to.

"Uh yeah," I said trying to stand up. "I guess I forgot to tie my shoes; I don't know why."

"How's your leg? Can you play with it?"

I stood up and pain shot through it. I guess I twisted it when I fell. "Not really."

He called in a sub and told me go to sit down for now. "Uhhhhh, Trish! Can you go get an ice pack for Austin at the nurse?"

She nodded her head and left.

"You can sit there," Coach Ryan said.

I mumbled a thanks and limped my way over there.

Right next to Ally.

The game started up again and I watched.

"That was some fall," Ally actually spoke up.

I looked at her. "If you're gonna laugh at me-"

"I'm not gonna laugh," she cut me off. "It wasn't really funny. Are you okay?"

Shocked by the sincereness of her voice, I rose my eyebrows. "Uh, yeah. I guess today's just not my day."

Then Trish game back with an ice pack and didn't complain about how I took her seat. She sat next to me and gave me it.

"Thanks," I said, putting it on my calf.

"No problem," she replied. "So I hear you're gonna to the movies with us tonight?"

"Uh yeah," I said. "If that's alright with you guys."

She shrugged. "Cool with me." Then she looked at Ally.

"I'ts cool with me too," she said.

"Cool. What are we watching?"

"Well we were gonna watch a scary movie," Trish replied. "But Ally is a chicken and wanted to watch Divergent."

I nodded. "Oh cool. The book was good."

Ally widened her eyes and looked at me. "You read Divergent?"

"Uh," I replied. "I actually read all three."

She looked very impressed. "Wow," she said. "I didn't really pin you as the type of guy to read for fun."

"Judging a book by its cover, now, are we?" I teased, smirking.

She laughed. "I would never! I think it's cool that you read."

I smiled. "Thanks."

After talking it over with Dez he agreed that he's gonna walk home with Trish and Ally, but he'll take the opposite way with them so he can drop off his back pack at my house before he goes to Ally's.

Apparently Cassidy didn't like walking, so we took her car after I wait almost a half hour for her to reorganize her locker.

"Cassidy come on," I bugged her. "Everyone left. Hell, everyone's probably already home by now."

"Hold on!" She hissed. Then she placed a mirror right in the middle, looked at her self in it, fixed her hair, and then shut her locker. "Alright." She grabbed my hand.

When we got in her car she blasted the radio, playing some annoying song that was literally all electronics. Was the artist a singer or robot? I don't even know.

Once she pulled into my drive way, she quickly got out of the car and came over to my side. The second I shut the door she pushed me against it and put her hands around the neck. Without any hesitation she started kissing me.

And I happily kissed back.

It was getting pretty intense and my hands were lower than most girls would've liked.

"Austin?" I suddenly froze and opened my eyes, to see Dez, Trish and Ally standing there.

Today was definitely not my day.

I pushed Cassidy off of me.

"Sorry about that," I said.

Trish rolled her eyes and I was too scared to even look at Ally.

"It's okay I guess," Dez said.

"Here I'll take your backpack for you."

"Thanks man," Dez said, waking away with Trish and Ally.

"See you later!" Trish yelled, smirking as she did.

Cassidy and I walked into my house and I put my bag, along with Dez's on the floor.

"Um, why is Trish going to see you later?" Cassidy asked.

"Oh, um, she and Ally know the neighbor and they're just gonna give us a few pointers before we go over."

"Wait, Ally's gonna be here?" She seemed mad.

"Yeah, why?"

"Nothing," she snapped. "I mean it's totally okay for you to hang out with a pretty girl without me there."

"You think she's pretty?" I asked, shocked.

"Well, yeah," she hesitantly said. "Still a loser, though."

I got closer to her. "Cassidy, relax. I never even talk to her."

Then I calmed her down by the best way possible. I kissed her and she immediately kissed back.

At 4 Cassidy left. She was unsure of why I was dressing up, asked if it was cause of Ally, and then left after I said she has to stop worrying about that. I don't like Ally.

Kira picked up her.

Then I took a shower, and once I got out I dried my hair with a towel and styled it while it was still slightly damp. It should dry in about ten minutes. I put on a tight white black t shirt, jeans, and sneakers. After putting deodorant on me and spraying cologne on my neck and wrists, I grabbed a hoodie and ran out the door.

Less than a minute later I was in front if Ally's house. I knocked.

No one answered for a minute and I start to feel rejected until Ally opened the door.

"Hey," she said.

"Hey."

"Come in."

I walked inside her house cautiously. I'm awkward in new houses.

"Hey man," Dez greeted from the couch. "Done sucking faces with Cassidy?"

I couldn't help but crack a smile. "Shut up."

"The movie starts in ten minutes." Trish said. "Let's get going."

When we got to the movies I end up sitting at the end, next to Ally. We talked about the book and what we were expecting before Trish told us to stop with the spoilers.

"What faction do you think you'd be in?" Ally asked, whispering.

I sighed. "I don't really know. I feel like I wouldn't belong in any of them."

"Maybe dauntless?" Ally asked.

I thought about it. Am I really brave? Or am I just a very loud and confident extrovert? In all reality, it seems like I'm not even brave enough to be myself.

Ally watched me as I thought about it.

"I don't think so."

She nodded. "That's okay." She then smiled. "Maybe you're divergent."

"I don't think I'm that special, though." I said. "I feel like I'm too ordinary."

"There could be a lot you don't know about yourself, Austin. Sometimes it just takes time to find out."

Then the movie started.

We walked back home in the dark, or light dark, and it was actually really fun. We were talking about the movie, cracking jokes, and laughing.

I was actually sad when I got back to my house.

"I can't believe I'm saying this Blondie, I mean Austin," Trish corrected herself. "But you're actually pretty cool. We should all do this again."

I nodded. "Yeah, I had fun."

"Here," Trish said, taking my phone and giving me hers. "Do not think I'm flirting, though. I'm just making things easier for all of us."

I punched in my number and exchanged phones again. I then looked at Ally. Should I ask? Yep, too late, I already decided that I am. "Ally, do you wanna swap?"

"Oh," she said, looking surprised. "Um, sure.

She gave me her phone and I gave her mine. Once we exchanged I gave her the phone back. "Okay, cool. See you guys later."

We all said bye and Dez and I went into my house.

"Mom? Dad?" I called out.

My mom then walked out into the living room. "Oh, hey boys."

Dez smiled. "Hi, Mrs. Moon."

"Who was the girl with you guys and Trish?"

My mom knows Trish because we had to work on a project together one before.

"That was Ally Dawson from school."

"Dawson!" My mom smiled. "From around the corner? Her mom and I have talked before. You know, she's very pretty."

I rolled my eyes. "Mom, stop. Anyways, we're heading over to Dallas's so I'll be home later."

"You'll be home at 1o."

"I'm 17!" I complained.

"Fine, 11. But you will not get home after midnight.

On the way to Dallas's I kept thinking about today. I never had that much fun. Everyone always wants to be friends with my group, but they don't realize how boring it is. I'd rather hang out with just Dez, Trish, and Ally.

Ally. I've started thinking since she came around, and I've never been so helpless in my life.

I blame her. Her and that dress of hers.

IF YOU LISTENED TO THE SONG YOU SHOULD GET SOME LINES ;) (again, I blame you by plug in stereo.
