Hey guys so thank you for the feedback so far! So the cover image for the story is going to be of Stefanie Scott I thought she would make a cute Beth so I hope you approve. Thank you so far for the nice reviews! Keep them up! Here's Chapter 2 enjoy :)
Beth was sitting at her desk in her bedroom after a long grueling day. She had nailed her auditions for her school's musical which this year was going to be Grease. She was sure she was going to get the part of Sandy, the lead, she was blonde, sweet, and had a rebel side of her. Beth had also been thinking all day about the musician who Rian had talked about all day. She decided to google him.
"Noah Puckerman," she said as she typed his name into Google. There were so many results she clicked on the first link that brought her to his YouTube channel. She looked for his cover of Beth by KISS which was one of her favorite songs growing up because it was her name. It took her a little bit to find it because it was from a few months ago her birthday to be exact. Once she found it she clicked play and Noah Puckerman appeared on her screen in uniform sitting on stool with his guitar in hand. Something about him looked so familiar to Beth, but she couldn't put her finger on it.
"Today sixteen years ago I had to give up the most important girl in my life my daughter. I sang this song to her mother with the help of few friends to name our beautiful little girl," He stated. Beth could tell the man on the screen looked like he was trying really hard to keep it together. "Happy Birthday Monkey Face this one's for you and your mother," Noah said as he started to play.
Beth froze she had a picture her dad had colored her that was supposed to be a clown, but looked more like a pig. Beth had found it when they had moved while Beth was in first grade years ago and it had said "To my Monkey Face Love your daddy". When she had found it her mom had told her that her dad loved her, but he couldn't be with her. Beth had always thought she was abandoned by him. Beth paused the video looking at the guy Rian said he was only thirty three so how could he possibly be her father unless her mother had a thing with a seventeen year old. The thought of it made Beth sick to her stomach. She knew she would have to talk to her mother about this.
Noah Puckerman was packing up his bag he was heading off for some military training for a weekend in Virginia. He needed the distraction things had been tense lately with his relationship with a certain blonde beauty by the name of Quinn Fabray.
The two had rekindled their romance after trying to save the glee club, but a few years in it got tough. The distance was hard while Quinn was going to Yale, but then she started her teaching career in California to eventually Boston where Puck decided it would be a good idea to move into together. He had done a few tours overseas with the Air Force and it was tough for the both of them. Puck wanted Quinn to marry him years ago, but he also wanted to so he knew she would be fine if anything were to happen to him while he was overseas, but she wouldn't. Puck knew it had to do with something with Beth. Beth was still a tough subject for both of them because one moment she was back in their lives and the next she was gone again. Neither Puck nor Quinn knew where Shelby had moved Beth to and that was the biggest struggle for them. They just wanted to know Beth was okay. Now Quinn was staying at their home in Boston and Puck was staying with a friend constantly going out of town for military training and going around the country playing gigs.
Puck picked up the photo of Quinn and him happy as can be. He missed her so much, but he knew she busy teaching at the moment and wouldn't want to see him anyway. He sighed putting the picture in his wallet next to the picture of Beth, Quinn, and him. It was one of the few they ever got to take as a family. He still couldn't believe his little girl was now sixteen he consistently thought about her. He wondered if she was more like Quinn or him. He hoped she still looked like Quinn, but with his eyes. Most importantly was she happy?
"Puckerman your cab is here," Puck's friend called from living room making Puck come back to reality. He headed out getting into the cab bag in tow airport bound.
Quinn's day was finally over as she entered the quiet house. It always seemed quiet without Puck around. She missed him, but things were just weird lately. Her brain had been all over the place. It wasn't that she didn't want to marry him because she did, but it just felt wrong without Beth. She needed space to think.
Quinn hadn't fully recovered from losing her baby girl. She knew it was for the best to give Beth up to Shelby, but at the same time she wished she had the opportunity to raise her little girl and to see the young woman she was today. Quinn knew she had made many bad decisions in high school, but Beth was her perfect thing and she just wanted her baby back.
Quinn looked at her phone there was a missed call and voicemail from Airman Noah Puckerman. She sighed and played the message.
"Hey Q I'm about to get on my plane to Virginia. I know you said you needed space and I get that, but it's been like a month now and I just wanted you to know I love you and I miss you like crazy. Please call me back or at least let me know you're okay," the sound of Puck's voice filled her ears. She ran her hand through her long blonde hair. Puck was not helping her with the whole space situation. She still didn't know what to say to him.
She decided to text him because she knew he would show up in protective mode if she didn't tell him she was okay, "I'm okay."
So I know this chapter was a little short, but thought I would just give you guys a glimpse into what's been going on with Puck and Quinn. I also would like to know if you would like me to continue with it or just mostly focus on Beth. Don't forget to review please! The more feedback the better
