Hi Guys!
I promised in my PMs to explain what was happening on the train in Premonition so here goes...
I thought about Alfred going forward in time and seeing Arthur's ghost when he went into the carriage and when he left it, went back to his own time and saved Arthur but then that would mean that Arthur didn't die and so never haunted the carriage which means Alfred wouldn't see him and so never saved him so Arthur did die and did haunted the carriage which meant Alfred would see him and would save him and...
Well, any way, temporal paradox, wibbly-wobbly, timey-whimey, blah, blah, blah, you get the picture!
I never thought about why this happened, weird quirk of physics, divine intervention, take your pick but as to the how ….
Somehow the storm turned the carriage into a portal into another reality, one where time is a little further along than ours, in this case after the suicide of that reality's Arthur where Alfred sees that Arthur's ghost and finds the newspaper, hence the date on the paper. When Alfred left the carriage and returned to our reality, it was three months before our reality's Arthur's suicide so Alfred was able to save our Arthur without messing up time and creating a temporal paradox. Then they all live happily ever after!
Well, I hope that made sense to you and you'll enjoy any future stories I write so until then,
Hasta la Pasta!
P.S. Ha Ha, Sardonyx! XDDD
