Morning in hell is no different from the world of the living, except for the flaming bird-like creatures screaming instead of chirping, right outside my window. And the creepy, grinning, red sun rising and all that stuff. 'Ahh the only thing missing is my old man's morning surprise attack. '
"Kurosaki-sama" I was snapped out of my musing when one of the servants spoke to me.
"Um yes?"
"Your bath has been prepared and your clothing is already in the bathroom. Do you desire anything else, my lord?"
"Ah, no thank you" she bowed before leaving the room. Jeez. I don't think I'll ever get the hang of being treated like royalty.
"GET YOUR FILTHY HANDS OFF ME!"
I snapped my head over to the direction of my lovely fiancé's screaming, as if he was competing with whatever-the-hell those burning birds on my windows are. I should've asked the servant to kill them.
"A-ah Shirosaki-sama p-please calm down…" Ah, the poor girl.
"I WILL NOT CALM DOWN!"
"What's with all the ruckus?" I asked the one of the servants, who bowed before answering.
"She is trying to help Shirosaki-sama wash his hair; His hair is long and it takes a lot of effort to maintain its beauty," she answered. "However Shirosaki-sama does let just anyone touch his hair, so please be cautious."
"Thanks for the warning." she nodded and went out of my room. After bathing I went to see if Shiro was done yet, not that I wanted to hang out with him, but I don't know anyone else, other than the servants, besides we're supposed to get along.
"M-my deepest apologies S-Shirosaki-sama."
"Oi, stop it already, you're gonna make her cry." I exclaimed, leaning against the door frame.
"It ain't any of your business!" he snapped at me before resuming hollering at the girl. "GO AWAY DAMMIT!"
"B-but Shirosaki-sama, you have businesses to attend to." the girl stuttered, her voice shaking with fear.
"Cancel them. 'm not getting out of bed." The Albino demon crossed his arms before looking away stubbornly.
"Shiro, just let the girl do your hair." The girl looked at me thankfully, while Shiro continued glaring.
"Make me!" he spat, words dripping with hate.
I've never been so frustrated in my life. I've had to deal with many types of people but none were like him; even Kon couldn't get on my nerves as fast as he can. Then I heard a low grumbling behind me, I turned around to see a black serpent glaring at me with milky white eyes. I could only stare in shock as the thing roared and tried to bite me, a chain and leather collar preventing it from doing so.
"Someone undo Halua's chain so she can bite his head off." Shiro commanded making the servants panic, not knowing what to do. Meanwhile 'Halua' was still trying to kill me and the chain that's keeping her from obliging to her master's wishes looked like it wasn't going to last very long.
"Down girl." a calm voice ordered from behind the serpent, making it stop trying to attack me. Aizen walked over and petted her, making the snake calm down a little, but she was still staring at me, baring he sharp pearly white fangs. "No need to be scared she's a sweetheart once she gets used to you." Aizen smiled at me, his hand not leaving the serpents black, scaled head as she continued to glare and hiss at me, unhappy for some unknown reason. He looked over to Shiro, but the albino looked away stubbornly. Aizen sighed, then reached down and started to undo the leather collar making my eyes go wide 'oh shit! He's not going to-'.
"W-Wait a sec-"
"It's ok; It's like dealing with a dog, let her get use to you. Oh and she can smell fear so keep calm." he said in a singsong tone of voice. Lovely. Just fucking lovely; just like dealing with a dog he says? Yeah a rabid dog perhaps.
As soon as the collar came off she flew over to me, circling and wrapping most of her tail around me loosely, much like a snake when it's trying to kill its prey. It flicked it's tongue out to touch my cheek, before it stopped and hissed, baring her fangs that were dripping with what I guessed was poisonous venom, before she quickly flew to Shiro who looked surprised.
"She didn't kill you." he stated in disbelief, as Halua curled up around him, squirming under his hand which was placed on his lap and spread her tattered ebony wings, hiding Shirosaki from my view, making him chuckle softly. "Oh Hau-chan, he's not replacing you. No, he's just a mistake." Shiro whispered lovingly to his pet.
Oh the pet was jealous of me… wait what'd he say? Shiro cupped the serpent's head and kissed her nose lightly. "You're so cute when you're jealous."
"Yeah she's frickin adorable." I muttered to myself, making the serpent glare and hiss at me. Great; his pet hates me too.
After a lot of convincing from Aizen, Shiro had let the poor girl wash his hair.
"Ichigo-sama, please step aside for a moment." she asked politely, I blinked in confusion but stepped aside nonetheless. Then she started chanting something, causing small circles to appear and cleanse Shiro's hair.
"Wow, that's amazing." I stated in awe. The girl smiled sweetly and was about to say something before Shiro interrupted.
"Heh, you think that weak-ass spell is good? You've obviously never seen real magic." then he chanted a few words but nothing happened.
"Ah, is this one of those invisible spells?" He obviously didn't like my sarcasm, judging by the way he glared at me.
"I just put a curse on you; from now on you'll only have bad luck." He sang, smirking victoriously.
"Sure, I believe you." I rolled my eyes.
"You'll see soon enough."
I scoffed at him, not believing what he said… that was until I turned around and tripped on Haluas tail. 'Oh shit'. And with that I spent half the morning running away from my fiancés pet. If my life didn't depend on him I would have killed him by now!
