TWO.
"This has to be the most boring class I've ever had." Alice whispered to her best friend, Jenny Richards.
"I know, right? And there are no hot guys in this class either." Jenny whispered back.
Alice ran her fingers through her shoulder-length dark brown hair, "All the teacher does is talk. I still don't understand what the hell pi is."
"Oh my God, I still can't believe you broke up with Joe." Jenny said, changing the subject.
"I know, I know. The thing is... I just stopped liking him. Now, I don't like anyone." Alice said. Jenny looked at her for a few seconds.
"You don't get it, do you?" Jenny asked, "I didn't break up with him because I wanted to go out with another guy, or even liked another guy. Should I really have stayed with him If I didn't have feelings for him?"
"But Joe is like, the nicest guy ever. And not to mention HOT! How could you not have feelings for him?" Jenny seemed confused.
"I-I'm not sure. I just don't like him anymore. Maybe some other hot guy will come along and I won't break his--"
"Attention class!" Everyone turned to faced Mrs. Branford and a guy that Alice had never seen before.
"We have a new student today. His name is Brundon."
"Um, Mrs. B., It's Brandon." The guy said to Mrs. Branford.
"Oh, yes. I'm sorry. Brandon, Brandon Basset."
"Speak of the devil," Jenny whispered in Alice's ear.
Alice smiled.
