chapter 2 : the opening ceremony

"Welcome one and all, to the 50th installment of the renowned Law of the cards elimination tournament. As this is the 50th installment, me and my brother have added a few unique twists to this tournament." Dylan spoke exitedly, while standing atop a large podium next to his brother who spoke up.

"Now then as my brother has just told you all." Ronan said pointing towards the large crowd. "We have decided, to add a few extra additions to this tournament as it is the 50th. Now before we'll tell you what these extras are, I would like to thank each and every one of you in that crowd for your undying support. Without you we would never have gotten this far, with our small card gaming business. Now then as some of you may remember, the game card law started out as just a hobby project between me and my brother. And neither of us had ever expected it to grow into something this big. Ronan finished after having grabbed a card law starter pack, from when the game was still very new. out of the pocket of his jacket and placing it on a small pedestal in front of him.

"Now then, about these additions." Dylan spoke up again, after grabbing the card law starter pack off of the pedestal. Anf putting it in his jacket. "We have thought long and hard on what to do to make this tournament stand out, from the 49 before it. And after a few months full of careful planning, we decided to add in three special additions. The first of these being that the winner of this tournament, will be able to battle me and my brother with this game, in the master arena." after having said that, loud cheers could be heard, from the massive crowd.

"Alright then, quietdown everyone!" Ronan spoke to be able to continue his and his brother's speech. "As my brother just said, we had come up with three ideas, Not just one. The second one is that the tournament takes place, across seven different arenas. Each with their own gimmicks. Now then the first day of this tournament, will take place in this arena. But me and my brother have added six unique arenas, just for this tournament. Although each of these arenas are spaced apart by fairly lagre areas. So for that reason the contestants get a day to travel to each arena."

"And finally last but not least, we have the third addition. Out of the 128 contestants in this tournament, eight have gotten a special invitation from me and my brother." dylan spoke, and while he said this eight cloaked figures walked up to the podium he and Ronan were standing on. "Now these eight are children, of some of the winners of earlier tournaments, these eight are.

"Ramin Igal, son of Jolant Igal, winner of the 39th tournament."

"Minea Alar, daughter of mikal Alar, winner of the 45th tournament."

"Tian Sira, son of Aktara Sira, winner of the 40th tournament."

"Siara Miro, daughter of Lota Miro, winner of the 32nd tournament."

"Latau Quto, son of kamar Quto, winner of the 30th tournament."

"Zara Butil, daughter of Talan Butil, winner of the 44th tournament."

"Kamil Azio, son of Tarita Azio, winner of the 31st tournament."

"And last but not least, Narina Karim, daughter of Simar Karim. Winner of the 35th tournament."

While Roanan listed these eight contestants, the eight figures one by one. Removed their cloacks revealing themselves to be the eight listed Dylan spoke up one final time.

"Now then with all of that out of the way, let the 50th law of the cards tournament, BEGIN!"

Hey there my loyal subjects I know that the month is nearly over, and that I still have to finish my other chapter. But i've had a very busy month. So it might have to write three chapter for next month to reach my quota, and with that i'll hopefully see you in the next three days.
