Chapter 2
Jaden was crying on his pillow . How could Chazz do that? Chazz had gotten his hopes up, making him think that he had a chance at theatre. Wel hell,he did make the school play and got the lead role, but he couldn't tell Chazz that he got the part. Not after that argument.
" Why is he being so difficult?" Jaden asked himself aloud, knowing perfectly well that he was all alone in his dorm. Jaden was all alone ever since Syrus got promoted to Obelisk Blue and Chumly graduated.
Jaden looked at the time and realized that he had dress rehearsal. Jaden got up and started walking to the door when he saw that he still had on the necklace Chazz gave him for their one year anniversary. It was a black and red heart hanging on a gold chain. Jaden looked at it once more in the mirror before taking it off. He didn't want to think about Chazz after the argument and during rehearsal.
Jaden ran out of his dorm and went off to rehearsal. Rehearsal was going to be interesting since its for reviewing the costumes before the big show tomorrow night. When Jaden had gotten the lead role in the play, he was ecstatic. He wanted to tell Chazz immediately but unfortunately Chazz wasn't on campus for two months due to some family troubles.
So Jaden had over two months worth of rehearsal, so now it was time for him to look at his costume for the play. Jaden wasn't going to listen to Chazz, instead he was going to do it anyway. He worked hard on this play, and there was no way in hell he was going to quit the day before opening night.
Chazz was just being an asshole and he just needs time to cool down. Jaden walked down the hallway that lead to the auditorium. This was it. Jaden opened the doors and walked into the world of theatre.
