Chapter 2
Adrian POV
Rose was asleep right beside me. Damn I wanted her. I would have asked her again except that she didn't look like she could handle my crap right now. I had a theory as to why she was sick. But it didn't make sense. Two dhampirs can't have kids together.
So I was stuck here with a major boner. Trying to ignore it. I figured I'd sleep it off. It was hard to get to sleep but I finally managed it. And yes, my dreams did include sex.
I woke up to something touching my cock. I was still half asleep and I started rubbing against it subconsciously. I figured it was a pillow or some part of the blanket. I didn't think twice about it and thought I'd just have a mess to clean up when I cummed until I heard an intake of breath like someone waking up. Then Rose screaming, "Ewwy ewwy eww!"
Damn it! I'd cummed on her. I sat up and tried to apologize but, she was already running for the bathroom. I could hear the shower running.
I got up and changed. Then I stripped the bed and put the dirty sheets and stuff in a pile to be washed later. I made the bed with clean sheets and turned the tv on just as Tose was walking out of the bathroom in clean clothes.
I hugged her and apologized. "I'm so sorry. I forgot you were laying there. You know I would never do that to you on purpose. I'm sor-"
"It's alright. I was just surprised to wake up to that."
I hugged her again. "Okay. Will you come with me to Dr. Olendsky's office?" I had to see if my theory was right. Even if it was impossible.
"Why?"
"To see why you've been sick of course." I didn't want her to freak out. Who Knows? She could be so mad about Belikov leaving her pregnant that she goes and kicks his ass herself.
"Okay. But you can't tell Lissa. She worries too much already."
I nodded and led the way out of the room. The infirmary was a little farther than Rose's dorm. We held hands the whole way. Earning a few stares.
The doctor wasn't surprised to see Rose. "Wht did she do this time?" I wondered how much Rose was in here. I looked at her curiously. She just shook her head
"I've been puking a lot and tired lately. Adrian made me come in." Dr. Olendski nodded her head. She dug in a cabinet by the sink, grabbed something, and handed it to Rose.
Rose shook her head. "I don't need that. The only person I've slept with is a dhampir."
"Take it anyway. It couldn't hurt." Rose took the pregnancy test in her hand, rolled her eyes, and went into the bathroom. The few minutes it took were excruciating. I wanted to know what was wrong. Finally se came out. There were tears in her eyes. She ran straight into my arms and sovved. I had my answer Rose was pregnant and the father didn't want anything to do with her.
