Hello Readers! Here is the chapter I promised last night. Well, I lied. Oh, get over it, I was watching Pee-Wee's Big Adventure. Anywho, REVIEW!

I walked swiftly into the Great Hall, and made a beeline for the Gryffindor table. "Scram!" I snapped at some small first years. They scuttled out of my way, and I slid onto the bench.

"Someone's in a bad mood." a girl with long honey blonde hair and a pretty heart shaped face that drew out her ice blue eyes said.

"Shut it Tess." I told my twin. Tess grinned.

"Whoa, what happened to you?" the other girl with curly black hair and olive skin asked.

"Shut it Nikki." I glowered at the girl.

"Well, what happened?" a brown haired brown eyed girl asked.

"I don't wanna talk about it, Lay." I told her snappily.

"But," the girl tried, looking nervous.

"Let me try, Layla." Tess cut across her friend.

"Chloe," Tess poked me. "What did you do?"

"I'll tell you later!" I snapped, hoping they would realize it was no longer on the table for discussion.

"But," the dark haired girl asked, twisting a dark curl around one finger nervously.

"Later Nikki!" I turned to the food, hoping she would take the hint.

She didn't. "Please?" Nikki pleaded.

My temper flared. "No! Stop asking Nicolette!" I shouted. People looked over at them.

Tess blushed furiously and stared at her plate, shifting uncomfortably. I started piling food on my plate, ignoring the onlookers.

Tess sighed. "Alright. If you're sure."

"I'm sure." I muttered around a mouthful of food. Tess sighed again, and began picking twigs, leaves, and grass out of my curly, reddish brown hair.

"Guys, let's go!" Nicolette urged, gesturing around at the slowly emptying hall.

"Ok, ok, we're coming!" Layla grumbled, pushing back her plate away and standing up. We made our way to the Gryffindor common room, chatting animatedly about the most meaningless things we could think of.

When we got to the Fat Lady, she asked, "Password."

"Uh, did Lily tell you guys the new password?" I asked hopefully. The others shook their heads. "Did Remus?" I tried.

"No." Tess said, flipping her hair behind her.

"*CENSORED*" I muttered, scuffing my shoe on the floor.

"That is not the password, Miss Meadows." the Fat Lady told me. I was about to deliver a stinging retort, when a girl with long auburn hair flying behind her came running up to us.

"Sorry guys! I forgot to tell you the new password!" she panted, skidding to a stop.

"We'd realized." Layla pointed out sarcastically.

"I'm sorry! I've been so busy I forgot!" Lily gasped, wiping her forehead with the back of her hand.

"Don't worry, Lily, just tell us now." I said understandingly. Tess nodded shyly in agreement. Tess never talked much around people. Okay, not at all.

"It's toad spawn."

"Precisely." the Fat Lady said, swinging to admit them.

"Thank you!" Layla sighed, then frowned. "Wait, is that really the password?"

"So Tess, still not gonna talk?" Lily asked Tess. Tess blushed and shook her head, her golden hair swinging.

"It's not you Lils, the Fat Lady was there." I explained.

Lily looked shocked. "You've known her for six years." she said.

Tess nervously pushed her sheet of blonde hair behind her ear and stared at the floor. "I don't know her that well." she said quietly.

"Tess!" Lily groaned. "Open up! You've known us girls for six years as well, you can't say you don't know us!"

Chloe grinned. "Lil, she talks to you. She only talks to me, Layla, Nikki, Jazzi, Maia, our sisters, Kaylani, Dorcas, and Naomi. That's it. Be thankful."

Lily looked at Tess sadly, sympathy glittering in her emerald green eyes. "That's it Tess?"

Tess nodded.

"She's just really, really, super shy." I stated the obvious unnecessarily.

"Yeah." Lily agreed. "Hey, who are Kaylani and Dorcas?"

I started. "Oh, they are our cousins."

"Oh." Lily looked guilty. "Guess I really don't know much about you. I promise to get to know you guys better."

"Don't think on it. Not many people do know us." I turned and headed up the stairs to the Girls Dorm. There, already in bed, were three girls. First Jasmine "Jazzi" Tucker, a pretty girl with dark skin and super long black hair that fell to her knees. She loved to draw, and was very good at it. She was smart, lovable, and really sweet. Second was Maia Scott, a petite girl with brown hair and blue eyes. She was kind and quiet, and is the go-to person for homework help. Next to Lily, she was the smartest girl in school. Lastly, Naomi Ivy, a tall, gorgeous girl with long strawberry blonde hair that flowed down her back in soft curls. She is very popular, but a little cold. She didn't think much of grades, but was extremely intelligent.

I was friendly with them, but not friends. They were just really good acquaintances. The other four I knew better, but Lily wasn't really my friend. My friends were Layla Brown, a chestnut haired goofball who was fiercely loyal to her friends. She sang like a bird, but couldn't dance to save her life. She was academically impaired though, didn't do better than Es and As on her O.W.L.S. She was also exceedingly naive. Nicolette Bennett, a tall girl with curly black hair. She was smart, excellent at Herbology, but can't make potions. She has a pet ferret named Archie, who proved her obsession with care of magical creatures. Tessa Meadows, a pale girl with waist length honey blonde hair. Shyest person on the planet. She was impossible to offend, helped people left and right, never handed in a late assignment, and was very, very organized. A complete opposite to her twin, me, who was...

Chloe Meadows: I am tall, with reddish brown, super curly hair. I am extremely outgoing, I offend easily, have a huge temper, I'm disorganized, I don't really care about schoolwork, but I'm just as kind and caring as Tess. I am obsessed with making music. I have a beautiful voice, but I never show anyone but Tess my songs. Or, at least that's what Tess said I'm like.

"Hello guys." I said, sinking onto my bed, next to Tess, who had followed me upstairs.

"Hi Chlo." chorused Jasmine and Maia. Naomi just grunted. I grinned, and changed quickly, watching Tess brush her hair. The silky strands caught the moonlight, and practically glowed.

Naomi stood up. "I will see you later."

"Where are you going?" Layla asked.

"Oh, naive Layla," I teased, "It's a Friday night. Where do you think?"

Layla nodded in realization. "Another party?" she asked Naomi.

"Of course. How do I look?" Naomi asked, knowing full well she looked amazing and not actually caring what we thought.

I studied her. She was wearing jeans and a pretty turquoise sweater. They set off her blue eyes nicely. "Good." I decided, pulling my book out of my trunk next to me.

"Thanks." Naomi told me with an absolutely emotionless tone. "Goodbye." she said sharply, waving at us with her royal blue painted claws.

"Goodbye!" the others yelled back.

"Adios!" I said to be unique, then slid into bed, propped up the pillows, and grabbed my song book, thinking of the Saturday to come.

Yay! First real chapter! Ok, guys, has anyone seen Warm Bodies? The movie? IT WAS SO FUNNY! I loved it! Anyways, please review! Naginis getting hungry. 0o
