Author's Note: Hi guys. I would like to thank you guys so much. I first posted Tadashi's Still Here about 3 days ago and ever since, my email has been full of notifications saying that people are following and/or liking Tadashi's Still Here and/or me. I really appreciate it. I'm not a huge fan of writing, but you guys encouraged me to stick to this. In fact, I've already figured out the ending. It will eventually be very dramatic. I will try to have an update every few days or so, but I'm a very busy person with school work and a lot of extra curricular. Worst case scenario is that there will only be one update a week, but for now, expect another update in a few days. Without further ado, here is chapter 2 of Tadashi's Still Here.

Warning: This chapter has cursing

Chapter 2: Speed is Key

Hiro's POV

"C'mon...hurry up." I impatiently say to my computer as it turned on. When it turned on, I quickly put the card into the computer. It had a few different files. I clicked on the first one, a video file. The video had Tadashi. I miss him so much. The video finally loaded.

"Hey, Hiro." Tadashi said...well the video of tadashi said

"Tadashi!" I said joyfully

"Hiro, listen." He continued. "I don't have much time. I can't say where I am or where the next clue is. I'm being tracked and the person who is going to take me can pick up my conversations...and the tracker has a bomb. If they don't like what I say, I could get blown up."

Tears started to roll down my cheeks when I heard that last sentence. One wrong move and my brother will be gone for good.

"But don't worry." He said. "With some help from some other people, you will hopefully rescue me. I'm not giving up on you. There are other files on this card. They're puzzles that can lead you to the next clue and possibly have someone help, but the files have a problem. After 5 minutes, you can't continue them. They just print what you have done. Speed is key. I believe in you." Tadashi said before the video ended.

I saw three other files. I clicked on the first one, a puzzle. It had a lot of pieces, but I remembered that I only have 5 minutes. I started with the boarders, then the middle pieces. It wasn't easy. Most of the pieces were black with purple solid lines or pink dotted lines. 4 minutes down, only 1 minute left. I'm almost done. Only about a dozen more pieces left, when something popped up and my cursor disappear.

"Damn it!" I said angrily before I remembered the printer. I quickly flipped it on and the image got printed.

It looks like a map. There is a pink line leading to a purple area, but there are some missing areas. I click on the second file. It had a note that read "You may need a helping hand. The next clue is somewhere on their land. Their price is simple: gum and a bag of sand."

"Hmmm...gum and a bag of sand? Seems odd, but I should probably get those." I said before printing the list and going to the store.

About 15 minutes later, I returned from the store with a bag of sand and some bubblegum and returned. I took a deep breath and clicked on the last file. It was an encrypted code.

"You've gotta be fucking kidding me right now!" I scream. I hate codes. I know how to solve them, but I just don't like them. A bunch of numbers. The A1Z26 cypher. Child's play.

(Author's note: if you want to try to solve it, the A1Z26 cypher is easy to solve. The alphabet is written in numerical order. A-1, b-2, c-3, d-4, e-5, f-6, etc...)

The code read the following message:

"25-15-21 11-14-15-23 8-5-15 16-18-9-3-5 1-14-40
9-20 19-5-5-13-19 16-18-5-20-20-25 6-1-9-18.
25-15-21 11-14-15-23 23-8-5-18-5 20-15 6-9-14-4 8-5-18
20-8-5 13-1-16 23-9-12-12 7-5-20 25-15-21 20-8-5-18-5.
7-15 20-15 13-25 6-18-9-5-14-4 23-8-15 8-1-19
16-21-18-16-12-5 9-14 8-5-15 8-1-9-18."

I went for my usual strategy: start with the vowels. Then I figure out the rest of the word. After about 4.5 minutes I solved it successfully. (Author's note: There is going to be a bit of a huge space so the answer won't be revealed for if you wanted to try to solve it. If you just want to find out now, sorry for making you scroll so much.) It read the following message:

"YOU KNOW HER PRICE AND
IT SEEMS PRETTY FAIR.
YOU KNOW WHERE TO FIND HER
THE MAP WILL GET YOU THERE.
GO TO MY FRIEND WHO HAS
PURPLE IN HER HAIR."

Then it hit me. The purple hair; the gum; speed; they all lead to one person: Gogo

I grabbed the bag of sand and gum. Then I ran to SFIT. It's about 1:15 in the afternoon. Almost everybody is at lunch. Everybody except for Gogo. I ran up to her, despite her being in the middle of working on her project. It took me a few minutes to catch my breath.

After I caught my breath, I pulled out the bag of sand and gum and said "Can you help me find my brother?"

Author's Note: Thank you guys for reading. Chapter 3 is in progress. In the next chapter, there will be someone else's POV other than Hiro's. Feel free to review or make predictions. Please don't forget that I appreciate you guys.
