"I'll stay back here for a while, if you like." Alana said, Felix nodded and walked into their front garden to go and talk to Oscar.
Alana stood behind the bush for a while before Felix called her, she came out from behind the bush and walked up to the window.
"I think I might be in here for a while, I don't know if you want to come too?" Felix suggested.
"I don't mind" Alana said, Alana looked at Oscar, Oscar knew Alana. Alana would always say that Oscar's ideas about aliens were interesting, causing Oscar to take a liking to Alana.
"She can come in too." Oscar said, smiling at Alana. Alana walked round to his front door and he let her in.
"I love your room." Alana said, she was easily fascinated and Oscar felt very glad she was here. Alana asked where the toilet was and Oscar directed her down the hall.
"Is she your girlfriend?" Oscar asked Felix as he watched her leave the room.
"No but she helped me out today and yesterday. Also it seems that whenever I need help she always seems to appear out of nowhere." Felix said, Oscar nodded.
Alana soon returned to find the two boys looking at a magazine, then there was a sound outside, it was Ellen. She's usually always mean to Alana, yet Felix seemed to be excited by her being here.
"The three freaks reunite." Ellen said rolling her eyes.
"Oh? And who's to say you're not a freak?" Alana said, snapping back quickly.
"My popularity, which you do not have." Ellen said smiling fakely and wincing her eyes. Oscar's mum soon joined them.
"Wow Oscar you seem to be popular today." Oscar's mum said as she walked up to him.
"She is not my friend." Oscar said pointing out Ellen, Ellen left after giving evil eyes to Alana.
"Hi I'm Felix." Felix said smiling, little did Alana know that this is Felix's mum, well was...
"Well it's nice to meet you Felix, you should come over more. Alana it's also nice to see you again." She said smiling, Felix put his hand out to shake hers, but suddenly she began to sneeze. Alana felt something wrong, there was a bad aura in presence but it's as if the presence wasn't here. Oscar's mum soon left, yet still sneezing. Felix and Oscar walked back in but Alana stayed put, watching the woman sneeze as she walked over to her car.
The three spent a few hours just talking. Felix helped Oscar with his coupons while Alana drew. She drew a magnificent still life of Felix and Oscar talking. It was soon Oscar sent the two home
"Thank you for helping me with my coupons and I hope you and your girlfriend have a lovely productive life together." Oscar said, Felix looked at him in panic
"She's not my girlfriend." Felix stated, his cheeks were slightly flushed.
"That's not what you said to me yesterday." Alana teased around, sounding sad, Oscar smirked.
"I'm only joking!" Alana laughed and smiled.
"I believe you." Said Oscar to Felix and still smirking.
Suddenly there was a loud collective sound, it was a bees nest inside a tree.
"Oscar we need to go back inside, now." Felix said in a serious tone, Felix grabbed Alana's arm and the three ran back inside. Once they were in, the bees were banging and swarming up against the window.
"Weird stuff like this keeps happening, bad weather, creepy things in the night." Felix stated, Felix pulled out one of the crystal charms he bought from Phoebe's shop and tried to use it.
"You must think I'm mad." Felix said to Oscar.
"You're doing it wrong." Alana said, she gently took the charms and held it up, she muttered a few foreign sounding words. None of the bees moved or left.
"Hm." Alana said, confused, studying the charms, she then began to throw them away and rummaged through the other packets Felix had.
"Well there's all my money gone." Felix sighed as Alana was looking at the charms and throwing them out.
"Strange, yet fascinating" Oscar said, the two boys watching her.
"I try my best." Alana smiled. Oscar walked up to the cupboard and pulled out bug spray.
"You got any more?" Felix asked. Oscar pulled out a couple more. Felix then mentioned something about the secret escape, it's as if Felix lived here. Oscar just claimed it was telepathy.
"We can go to my mum's shop, she'll help." Alana said, Felix agreed.
The three ran out the secret escape and through a couple short cuts, they could hear some bees following them, but they soon reached Phoebe's shop.
"That was quite an entrance, who you trying to scam today." Phoebe said as they ran in. Alana was last to enter.
"Hi mum." Alana said awkwardly with a little laugh.
"How did I know you were going to end up with him today?" Phoebe said looking at her daughter and then rolling her eyes.
"Those charms don't work." Felix said
"He has telepathy! I saw him do it!" Oscar said excitedly:
"Alright then... What am I thinking of." Phoebe said smiling fakely.
"I wish teenage boys would stop coming into my shop and I wish my daughter would stop hanging out with the goth loner boy." Felix said quickly, Phoebe looked impressed.
"Close enough." She said smiling, the three walking into the back room, where Felix and Alana went when they were trying to get that book.
"Are you sure you didn't just disturb the bees nest?" Phoebe asked.
"No they definitely chased us into the house." Felix said. He was lighting some candles.
"Also, this morning there was a weird storm." Felix said
"And the bees were swarming up against the windows to get in." Alana contributed
"Seems like an elemental attack." Phoebe said, Alana nodded, knowing exactly what her mother was talking about. When Alana was young, strange elemental attacks happened around her house back when Phoebe lived in the countryside. Oscar asked about it and Phoebe explained.
"You know most people that come into my shop are looking for incense, scented candles or mini dolphin statues, but you're different Felix." Phoebe said.
"Maybe that's why my irresponsible daughter likes you so much." Phoebe said rolling her eyes again, Alana smiled and looked down, Felix smiled a little.
"Yes." Felix replied simply, Phoebe nodded and then grabbed a box that rested on a shelf.
"Take this, this can keep you safe from elemental attacks." Phoebe said to Felix.
"The talisman!" Alana said excitedly, she remembered trying it on a lot. Phoebe pulled up a book. Oscar asked what it was, Felix said it was her 'book of shadows'.
"Here's the spell to activate the talisman. You do it." Phoebe said handing him the book.
"Why me?" He asked, confused.
"She wants to know if your for real, you might have potential." Alana said to him, Felix nodded. The four formed a circle holding hands.
"Definity of the elements, I summon thee: earth, water, air, fire." Felix said slowly. Felix continued with the rest of the spell and Phoebe put the talisman round his neck.
"Behold, the elemental talisman." Phoebe said, Felix wanted to test it out, he ran out and it didn't work, the bees began to sting him.
Later on Alana shut them out, she sat next to Felix putting antiseptic cream on his stings, she handled his arm with care.
"Well that was a disappointing." Phoebe said, relaxing on a lounge chair
"And painful." Felix said sounding annoyed.
"You're clearly not the talisman holder." Phoebe said sighing.
"I was just doing what you told me to do." Felix said defending himself. Oscar spoke up and mentioned something about aliens and getting something from another universe, Felix agreed.
"I have a plan." Felix said, he got up and began to look around.
"I need boxes, large boxes." Felix said, Alana got up too and found two next to a book case, she handed them to Felix
"What on earth..." Phoebe asked, leaving the sentence.
"Phoebe get the van started, we'll run out and get in without the bees seeing us." Felix said, Phoebe nodded and got up, Alana followed her.
"He is crazy, you'll look crazy." Phoebe said, they ran out to the van, luckily no bees following them, Alana sat in the front with Phoebe who started up the van, suddenly Alana heard two screams, it was Felix and Oscar running up to the van, with boxes over their heads, they looked mad. They got in and closed the door, Phoebe drove off.
They came up to the shack in the forest where Felix and the other boys were living.
"This is where you live?" Phoebe said looking disgusted.
"And you live in a magic shop." Felix replied.
"I like it." Alana said smiling and getting out of the van with Felix and Oscar.
"Also don't bother talking about magic with them." Felix said about the boys who lived with him. Suddenly the bees came over and were swarming towards them. They ran inside the shack, barging in on the other boys.
"What's he doing here? And who's she?" Andy stood up and asked.
"That doesn't matter right now." Felix said.
"You are all aliens and there are alien bees out there!" Oscar shouted. Jake let open the door and a couple dozen flew in.
"Don't let them in!" Alana shouted, Felix threw bug spray to the boys.
"The gaps!" Andy shouted, the bees were swarming in through the gaps. More were swarming in and Felix was explaining to Oscar about the boys and how they represented elements.
"Why didn't I stay with my mum in the van!" Alana shouted over the swarming sound of the bees. Felix ran under a desk with a lighter, he was beginning to try to work the talisman, Alana sprayed more bees and tripped over onto Jake, who knocked over sam.
"I'm so sorry!" Alana shouted, Jake helped her up and shouted back it was okay. And then suddenly, all the bees disappeared, everyone stopped spraying.
"Where's Felix?" Alana asked, he was under the desk.
"Hiding away like a chicken, freak." Sam said
"He got rid of the bees with his magic powers." Oscar argued.
"He hid away under the desk." Jake said angrily. Alana helped him out.
"Again who are you?" Andy asked Alana.
"Just a girl." Alana said with a smile. in a rush, she walked out the door to find her mum. The boys watched her leave in confusion.
"Looks like Felix found a girlfriend, she's definitely going for the wrong guy though." Jake said.
"When did she say she liked you?" Felix snapped back, he walked out with Oscar.
Alana found Phoebe, she was walking behind Felix and Oscar, watching them.
"You and Alana should come over more often, I think we'd make a great team." Oscar said to Felix.
"Me too." Felix agreed and smiled.
"Why are you looking at them weirdly?" Alana asked her mum, the two were walking not too far behind them
"He's definitely different." Phoebe said looking suspicious
