Hello everyone, thank you for all the follows, reviews, and favorites. I'm doing a small time jump, this is the same year but late winter. I really hope y'all like it, it was kinda inspired by my trip that I went on with my school. Enjoy and review.
"This is so FUCKING stupid." I snarle stuffing the second pair of red rain pants in my duffle bag. Maka lets out a small giggle, I look at her out of the corner of my eyes and watch her but her fifth or sixth book into her hiking backpack. "What? Also guys don't giggle, so uncool dude."
She turns to look at me crossing her arms and scowling "I'm not a guy remember." She yanks at her long hair and rolls her eyes.
"Ya, but-" I'm cut off by her grunt.
"Ya but nothing." She slowly walks into the bathroom to grab something. "If it weren't for you...BlackStar wouldn't even know." I flinch at that and blush.
How he found out
I was in the dorm and didn't know Maka was in the shower, so mt and Star where working on a school project when she walked out. She screamed, Star's nose bleed (mine as well, I know, I know not cool) He asked a lot of questions and wouldn't leave till they were answered.
"Ya sorry about that." I rub the back of my head and watch her come out of the bathroom. I notice her face is a little pink, but chose not to say anything.
"So, what else is on the list." Maka looks over at me green eyes locked on my red ones.
"Ummm," I look down at the list Stine gave us to pack by. "Gloves." I say look back at her.
"Ok, where did I put them." She turns around and looks in her dresser.
Flashback to that day in Dr. Stein's class.
"Good morning boys, today I have a big announcement." He say wheeling in on the stupid rolly chair that goes everywhere with him. "We are going camping for a week and a half." He smiles tightening the screw on his head.
"And why the hell are we doing this?" I ask being the first one.
Stine's glasses glare at me and he smirks. "Well, thats not important right now." He says letting out a low chuckle.
"Stine stop being a creep." Spirit says slapping his mister on the back of the head before looking at us "You will be working on finding a mister, we will be going with the girls academy thats down the road. You will be excused from all classes this after this class to pack and get this other stuff you might need. You will need to be in the common room at 7 o'clock tonight for a back check. The bus will leave at 8:30 tomorrow morning. The overall goal for you is to find a weapon partner or mister in this school or the girls academy." He finishes then looks at us, his eyes pushing on Maka for a brief second before flitting away.
"Creep…" I mumble getting a glare from Maka.
"What the hell are you all still here for, GO!" He yells dragging Stine away from the door. We all stand and walk to the dorms.
End flashback
2 hours later
"Come on Soul, we have to be there in five minutes for the pack check." She taps her foot and stands by the door glaring at me. I slip off my headphones and walk to my bag, pick it up, and walk out the door with Maka on my heels.
"Yo, Soul, Mak...o wait up." I hear Star yell then his footsteps.
"Hey dude was up." I fist bump him
Maka rolls her eyes and pulls her hood up making sure her hair is tucked away. The she arranges her bag over her shoulder. My eyes start to drift down before I catch myself and dig my nails into my arm to get so unwanted thoughts out of my mind. We walk down the hall with Star bragging about some random shit and stuff that no one cares about. Once we reach the gym we stop at the door and look in.
Mine and Stars eyes go wide due to the gym being full of girls, keep in mind were locked up in school a lot of the day so when we see girls we kinda loose it. My eyes go back to normal almost immediately and drift over to Maka who is trying to ignore the girls that are around her. I sigh and walk up to her then drag her over to Stein and get checked off. We are all go to go and get on the bus. The girls go and hover around Star and a few other guys, also me and Maka but we just ignore them.
"Oh lookie here girls, the first stage of bromance." A girl with her black hair loose says looking at us. The other girls laugh making Maka slide down in her seat and cover her face more.
"Leave him alone." I stand up and block the girl from Maka's view. I cross my arms and stare her down.
"Ok love birds." She smiles and turns around and sits next to her friends.
"Who the hell was that?" Star asks looking over the seat behind me and Maka.
"A bitch." I shrug and sit back down pulling my headphones on and giving Maka her's. She nods at me and slips them on. I turn on the music and look over her shoulder as the bus starts to move.
It takes us about 3 hours to get to the mountains. Once where there its dark.
"Ok everyone, get some coats and gloves. We need to be at the top of that mountain in 5 hours." Stein says while twisting his nob. We all groan and nod getting what we were told to get and putting on out backpacks.
