Second chapter! Kowalska shows up in this one! For anyone wondering the name was suggested by _ saying it was the feminised version and I've decided to go with it because it sounds kind of cool. I'm combining the 3rd chapter here to make it longer the original plan was to put this with the first chapter but I wanted that to be a introduction to Private and this to be the introduction to the rest of the team.

Mary Kowalska was ready to bang her head on the her steering wheel, this was torture. She was very late to her meet up, and she loathed being late, though it was completely out of her control. She was seriously considering getting out and walking in the rain.

Kowalska was a tall woman 6'3 with a slim build, cat like ocean blue eyes, a long face with square, wire framed glasses perched on her nose. Her short hair ending at her chin was a dark auburn, and she had pale freckled skin. She was 23 years old, and a brilliant scientist, strategist, and agent in A.N.I.A. She always had a plan and was currently thinking of one to get to her destination faster

Her train of thought was broken when her phone went off signifying a text message.

"What?" She said out loud, but as the car was empty no answer came. She picked up the phone and checked to see what it was.

S- Meet spot compromised make way to second location.

Kowalska let out a curse then replied

K- Potassium

S- Nerd

Well at least the second location was closer.

The Rain had long since let up by the time Kowalska walked in to the second meet spot. She took a seat at one of the empty tables in the coffee shop and waited, she didn't have to wait long though as the door opened revealing her contact Private Emily Callen. She seemed young , but Kowalska learned a long time ago that appearances were deceiving. The girl spotted her quickly and came over to the table.

"This seat taken?" Emily asked gesturing to the empty one across from her.

"Not at all." Kowalska replied, with smile, "I like your shoelaces."

The secret phrase

"Thanks, I stole them from the President." She responded.

The Code, this was indeed her contact, well she already new that but she had to be sure.

"You must be Emily Callen." Kowalska said in greeting.

"I am, it's a pleasure to meet you Mary Kowalska." Emily said with a smile, "And please call me Emily."

"Alright then Emily, you can call me Kowalska." Kowalska stated. She hated going by Mary it was to common. Emily nodded in acknowledgment.

"So Emily, where is your stuff?" Kowalska asked.

"Back at the Hotel I was staying at." Emily stated, "It's actually close by, I can see it from the window."

"Well then lets not waste time." Kowalski says standing up. "Lead the way."

It was a quick drive, the two women now had the luggage and were on their way to the house the team stayed at. It was a awkward silence so Emily decided to break it.

"What do you do?" She asked not actually having that much information. "On the team I mean."

"I'm the Scientist, Strategist, and I'm second in command." She replied, "What are your skills are you on a team? Or are you just a loner?"

"I'm a loner I suppose." Emily replied even though she never thought of it that way. "I'm a marksman and hacker, and do more stealth missions than not. Though I've been temporarily assigned to teams before."

A loner, Emily had never really thought about it but yes a loner. That sucks; Emily was at her heart a people person, but her skill set always had her alone. In the distance providing cover, or sneaking into enemy bases stealing information. Jobs best done when on her own.

"That's actually quite impressive for some as young as you." Kowalska said pulling Emily from her thoughts. "You can't be older then 20."

"Your right on, though I should say the same for you." Emily replied with a chuckle. "You're how old?"

"23." Kowalska provided.

"You must be a Bloody genius then!" Emily exclaimed.

"I am my IQ is 198." Kowalska bragged.

"Humble" Emily said sarcastically.

"Always."

A man paced back and forth in a living room periodically glancing at the door before returning to pacing. Close by on the couch another man sat watching the other closely.

"Sit down Rico, pacing isn't going to get them here any faster." Said the man on the couch. This man was 24, had tan skin, and a strong build. His hair was black and cut short. He had dark blue eyes and a strong jaw line. He was shorter then his pacing companion standing a 5'11. His name was Skipper Tyler. The captain of a small team of A.N.I.A. agents that included the pacing man and Kowalska.

The pacing mans name was Ricardo (Rico) Mores, he was a 22 year old latino man with a Mohawk that was dyed an electric green. He had green/ blue eyes and a scar running down the left side of his face to his chin. Rico stood at 6'1, he was well built and had tattoos of various explosives running up his right arm.

Rico stopped his pacing and looked at the door then at Skipper and back to the door. He stared for a minute then started pacing again.

"Get a grip solider, Kowalska is a big girl and can take care of her self." Skipper stated once again trying to calm the psychopath.

"Uh-uh" Rico replied shaking his head stubbornly. Skipper sighed, Rico had always been close to Kowalska, and had a tendency to worry when she did something risky. Like meet up with a contact when the first meet had been compromised. Skipper frowned at that thought, he was worried for Kowalska they had been friends and teammates for a long time. But he also knew that if something went wrong she could handle herself, this isn't her first rodeo after all. Besides if the report was anything to go by this Private Callen was no pansy either.

Though wether or not she could be trusted was another matter. Skipper never liked having new agent around. He understood the reasoning behind sending her, but he never met her before and knew nothing about her except her skill set and that she worked mostly on her own. It concerned him, and he already had her pegged as a possible threat. He'd have to keep an eye on her.

The door opened revealing Kowalska and the private and Skipper had to do a double take. He had gotten to see her file, and already new what she looked like but seeing her in person well. She was pretty, Skipper would even venture to say beautiful, and it had caught him of guard. He had to stop him self from staring, he couldn't afored to let his guard down, even for a pretty face. If she turned out to be bad news he had to know as soon as possible, he had to protect his team.

"Hello, you must be Private Callen." A statement not a question. Skipper extended his hand to be shook.

"Yes sir." Emily replied, shaking the offered hand.

"I Capt. Skipper Tyler, and this is Sgt. Ricardo Mores." Skipper said gesturing to Rico who at the offer of a hand shake; proceeded to give Emily a fist bump.

"'All me Rico." He said, in a gravelly voice damaged by a previous injury.

"Alright then Rico, call me Emily." She responded.

"Now that the introductions are out of the way; Kowalska could you show Private here her room, then we'll give the grand tour."

I have nothing against the name Mary I just wanted something fairly common. I The story's really getting kicked off now. Yes Kowalska is going to be a bit of a dork sometimes. I happy with how this turned out. I wanted to show a quick friendship with Private and Kowalska, and Rico is just supper casual. Skipper is a bit mistrustful but it wouldn't be Skipper if he wasn't. Give me your feed back.
