"C'mon, Inuyasha. Will you stop sulking?" Kagome re-adjusts the straps to her canary yellow backpack while walking out of the well house. "We'll be back to shard-hunting tomorrow, I promise!"

Crossing his arms, Inuyasha rolls his eyes. "Keh. I don't understand why you have to come home today. Weren't you just here last week?!"

Kagome slides the door to the shrine open, puts her shoes away, and proceeds to the kitchen to put on her apron. Inuyasha plops down on the living room floor, cross legged. He watches her look through the cabinets and refrigerator, pulling out random spices and ingredients.

"I already told you. I have to baby sit Souta this weekend since Mom and Grampa out of town." She steps into the living room and glances around before calling out, "Souta! Where are you? Inuyasha's here."

"Your customs are crazy. The kid's far from a baby, Kagome."

"Just because he's not a baby doesn't mean he doesn't need to be babysat. We have to make sure he stays put and out of trouble." Kagome goes back into the kitchen to continue preparing their meal. While scooping rice into the rice cooker, she hears a crash from Inuyasha's direction. "Inuyasha," She calls out, shaking her head. "Are you tormenting Buyo again?"

"No. I'm babysitting like you said. You're right, he won't stay put."

Kagome sighs and removes her apron. What the hell is he talking about? After stepping in the doorway of the living room, she deadpans at the sight of Inuyasha sitting on a struggling Souta. He doesn't quite get the concept of babysitting.
