Chapter 2:

Residents of the Diagon Alley were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much. There would be of no such bizarre and crazy actions such as cleaning yards using their energy, no no no, what in the name of Merlin! Here, the residents of Diagon Alley are all witches and wizards, and thumping good ones too. Here is the last place you'd expect any trouble at all, because they just didn't hold that nonsense.

It was a fine Autumn day, with cool breezes which can give you the most pleasant feeling ever. Lauv is in the air, Lauv is everywhere, from radios to witches and wizards humming his magical tunes, Chasing fire. Just when the absolutely normal residents of Diagon Alley thought that life couldn't be any worse, the sky suddenly turned to a dark shade of grey. A rather abnormal surprise, but nevertheless, it couldn't have hurt their good Thursday morning, where students from everywhere pour all over in this place to buy their last-minute equipments for the great school of Hogwarts.

April was no exception. She was on her last day of shopping for some interesting books for the journey on Hogwarts Express. A few ominous looking books caught her attention. She had always been interested in spells, especially jinxes. Her mum, a ministry witch, knew a few loopholes that only an experienced ministry worker would know, knew how to get pass the underaged-detecting charm at specific times by doing specific actions, so that her daughter could have a few small lessons before going off to Hogwarts.

April was a gifted witch. Each spell her mother taught her was absorbed pretty quickly. She was especially surprisingly good at the Disarming spell. That might be because she was descended from a very gifted family, yet extremely old, might've been the second oldest pure-blood family, only behind the Marvolos'. All family members were sorted into the green-emblem Snake party, Slytherin.

When it came to her mother's generation however, Miss Kendra Lou broke the family tradition. Mr. Kendra Matt, her dad, was a muggle-born, but nevertheless a skilled wizard. Mrs. Kendra was in the wise, blue house of Ravenclaw, which matched with the colour of her eyes perfectly. She met Mr. Kendra there, where they fell in love and married each other. Though Mrs. Kendra's mum didn't approve of this certain relationship and did everything in her power to prevent both of them from going out together, including blackmailing, threats, or otherwise taunting Mrs. Kendra, both of April's parent just fell in love deeper than before, wanting to leave and protect themselves from Mr. Kendra's wife's family. Mrs. Kendra's family obviously disowned her, and she and her family separated. Nevertheless, Mrs. Kendra still had a great life with her husband, and they had a child which was April herself.

Now, April was well prepared to go to Hogwarts. She had her wand, her robes, her books, and her enthusiasm. As the start-of-school day draw steadily closer, she found it really hard to go to sleep every night, both anxious and excited about going to Hogwarts. After all, she still hasn't got any friends who went to Hogwarts, due to the fact that she lived in a muggle-populated neighbourhood, and all of them were non-magical. But it didn't matter, she thought to herself, since she was quite an extrovert and can make friends easily.

The day finally arrived, April gave her mother the last hugs and goodbyes before going on the red-and-scarlet Hogwarts Express. She was off to her dream school after all. Little did she know that besides having a normal magical life of a magical witch, she might be facing things that may well not be suitable for witches and wizards her age, or she might be in fact developing a special relationship with the Hogwarts headmaster, Albus Dumbledore. But well, April won't be experiencing all of that yet at the moment, since she's now busy finding herself a spare compartment, which most were mostly full of peers. In the end, she decided to go in a compartment near the end of the train, with the occupant being a first year boy. This is the beginning of her great adventure, whether she knows or want it or not. But of course, again, she won't be knowing about that yet, since I am the author and I still have no idea what I'll make her do in the future so yeah :p. That marks another end of another chapter, and I really, really appreciate all of your feedbacks and reviews. Thanks for reading this chapter.

Peace out,
