Author's note: Here is a fantastic gift I've received from the wonderful FF.N author known as Sauron Gorthaur. She's translated my poem into Quenya for me! This lovely Quenya version (I can't understand it but it's Elvish-ly beautiful to me anyway!) is HER work, not mine. Of it all, I would've known enough to translate "Namárië." The literal translation back into English which follows is also Sauron Gorthaur's work.

Way to go, Sauron! You haven't lost your touch at Elvish poetry since the inscription you put in the One Ring! Seriously though, thank you. You rock!

Farewell, my friend
A debt unsettled
You came for me
But yet I let you die
When we meet in Mandos' halls
How shall I ask you to forgive?
