A/N: So this is like a late birthday update...yeah, sorry for not being on for so long! I know quite a few people were probably looking forward to the next chapter, so here it is!

Spain woke up, drowsily looked around, then realized that a certain cheerful Italian was missing. He got up as fast as he could with his sore body and walked around the library. When he didn't see Romano there, he decided to wait a few minutes before leaving to look for him. When Romano didn't come back after about five minutes, though, Spain could just sense that something was up. So he carefully left the room and walked around the house, looking for Romano. Everyone was thankfully in the safe room, so Spain didn't have to worry about explaining himself to the past countries. As he walked around the fourth floor, he heard a noise coming from inside the wall. He followed the noise and found a door that he hadn't seen before. He tried to open the door, but found that it was locked. He cursed under his breath before deciding to look for the key. He walked around the mansion, searched every floor, but still he couldn't find it. Eventually he somehow got the annexe to open, so he went in and found the key in the big library there. But before he could exit, one of the monsters appeared as if on cue. Spain tiredly pointed his sword at the thing, pocketing the key and running up to attack it. The monster could sense that Spain was exhausted, though, and used that to its advantage. It knocked him over, causing him to lose his sword and hit a bookshelf. As Spain watched the monster approach him, he knew that he was going to die. But before it could attack him, it stopped, then disappeared. In the monster's place was America, gun now pointed to Spain.

"What the heck are you doing here?" America asked, glaring intensely at Spain.

"I'm...from the future..." Spain mumbled, head foggy.

"Oh, are you now? As if I would believe something like that," America sneered, gun still pointed at Spain.

"C'mon, you have to believe me... I need to save Romano.."

"Romano's here too, hmm?"

"Yeah...in a hidden room..." Spain said as he started to sit up.

"Look, I'll let you live, but only this once," America said, putting his gun away.

"Gracias," Spain said, getting up and grabbing his sword. But before he could leave the room, America stopped him.

"I didn't say I would let you go though."

Spain sighed and sat back down with a plop and a, "Good. Then I can sleep some more..."

America sighed and said, "Really?"

But Spain was already fast asleep, head tilted against his chest. America sighed again before leaving the annexe and getting all the other countries. He wanted to show Spain to them and the place where he had found Spain in. But when he got back down to the annexe, Spain was already gone.

"I thought you said Spain was here!" England exclaimed, an odd gleam in his eyes.

"Yeah. Guess he must've bolted though..." America said, searching the room for Spain.

"Oh well, I guess we'll just have to find him later then," said Russia, already leaving the room.

"I'd rather not find him at all~" England said, leaving with Russia.

After all the countries had left, Spain came out of his hiding spot in the ceiling and quickly and quietly went back up to the fourth floor. He unlocked the door and entered the room behind it, shutting the door behind him. It was dark, but after letting his eyes adjust to the darkness, he was fine. He walked up the stairs he could barely see and found himself in a room covered in blood. Upon entering the next room, he found Romano tied up in the middle near a button.

"Spain, you came! Grazie~" Romano said happily, struggling to get out of his restraints. "Could you please help me out now?"

"Sí, un momento..." Spain said, walking up to Romano to start untying him. But before he could reach him, monsters came out of the wall and surrounded Spain and Romano.

"Mierda..." Spain murmured, pulling out his sword yet again and cutting Romano's ropes with it.

"Grazie again!" said Romano, pulling out some knives. "I guess we'll have to fight these guys then~"

"Sí, looks like it..."

Spain and Romano then started to fight the monsters, but it turned out to be too much for them. The monsters had completely surrounded them and were attacking from all sides. When they defeated one, another replaced it. The monsters seemed never ending, and Spain and Romano were already worn out, so that just made fighting the monsters even worse. Eventually, one of the monsters swiped Spain across the room, sending him into the wall and into the clutches of more monsters.

"Spain!" Romano called, hoping Spain would answer. When there was no answer, Romano started to fight his way towards Spain. But there were still hordes of monsters. and they all seemed to be trying to keep Romano away from Spain. When Romano was finally able to get to where Spain was, he found nothing there but some blood from his wounds.

"Spain!"

...

Back in the safe room, everyone was bored out of their minds waiting for England's magic to return.

"Ugh, I'm booored!" America groaned, yawning to prove his point. "Can't we do something?"

"No, we don't want anyone dying while we wait for my magic to return!~" England chirped.

America rolled his eyes and went over to the beds.

"I'm gonna take a nap, don't bother me."

"That actually sounds like a good idea," China said, also walking over to the beds.

"Tch, what a waste of time..." Japan muttered.

"No it's not! Here!" England said while shoving a cupcake in Japan's face so fast he didn't even have time to react. Japan had soon collapsed on the floor, asleep.

"England, don't do that," Italy said boredly. "We don't want you killing anyone."

"Oh don't worry, that only put him to sleep~" England giggled.

Everyone sighed, slightly annoyed with the Brit, and also annoyed at the fact that him being blind didn't faze him at all. Silence came over the room after that, being broken only by the breathing of Prussia, America, China, and Japan. England soon came over to everyone with a fresh batch of cupcakes, offering them to everyone. England was the only one to eat any, but he only ate one due to the awful taste. Since he couldn't see, some of the ingredients he put in weren't correct, making them taste awful. More people went over to the beds to sleep, and soon everyone was sleeping.

...

"Hey, this looks like the place!" Sweden said excitedly, walking up to the mansion with the other Nordics. "I wonder if it's as creepy as everyone's said it is?"

"Probably..." Finland said, uncaring.

"So where should we go now?" Denmark asked, looking around the mansion.

"Yeah, I heard everyone else was fighting monsters out here," said Iceland, also looking around.

"Well then, we should go find them and help them!" Sweden said, leading the way to the back of the house.

"Are you sure about this?" Norway asked skeptically.

"Yeah, it'll be fine! Hey look, I think I see someone!" Sweden pointed ahead of them to a group of people in the woods. "Hey guys!"

One of the people in the woods turned to Sweden, waving. When the Nordics got closer to the people, they realized it was Greece and Turkey.

"Did you guys just get here too?" Greece asked.

"Yup! What about you?" Sweden asked.

"Yeah, we got here a few minutes ago," said Turkey.

"Have you found anyone yet?" Denmark asked.

"No, but we've heard faint sounds of fighting."

"So there are other people here then," Iceland said, looking around now.

"Yeah probably!" Greece said. "Wanna join up with us to look for them?"

"No, I'd rather die" Finland said bluntly, already walking away.

"Well...I guess we aren't then... Sorry about him, he doesn't like people that much..." Sweden said awkwardly.

"Meh, it's fine," said Turkey. "Let's go Greece."

"Okay! See you guys later!" Greece said, waving as he and Turkey left.

The Nordics left also, following Finland to wherever he was going. Eventually he stopped, a big gray monster standing in his path.

"Where'd that thing come from?!" Norway exclaimed, hiding behind the others.

"Don't worry bro, I've got this!" Sweden said, running up to the monster and slashing it with a sword. Finland followed up that attack with bullets to the head, making it disappear.

"What was that thing?!" Norway asked, looking around fearfully now.

"They did say there were monsters," Finland said, walking ahead again.

"Where are we even going?" Iceland asked Finland as they continued to follow him.

"Dunno," Finland mumbled.

"It looks like we're going in the right direction, though," said Denmark, pointing to the trampled weeds and blood on the ground.

"True..." Iceland said, still a bit skeptical about Finland's directional skills.

Everyone continued to follow Finland, fighting off more monsters and eventually coming to a random clock.

"What's that doing here?" Norway wondered as they approached the clearing with the clock.

"I'll text one of the other countries and ask," Iceland said, taking out his phone and texting the first person he saw. He got an answer moments later. "He says we have to destroy it."

"Then let's destroy it!" said Sweden, walking up to the clock. But before he could reach it, three monsters appeared out of nowhere, blocking his way. He jumped back in surprise, swearing in Swedish. Finland quickly shot each of the monsters in the head in hopes that they would disappear. When they didn't, Norway hit them with some magic while Sweden slashed them. These consistent attacks soon made it disappear, also letting Iceland break the clock.

"Awesome!" said Sweden. "Now what? Should we look for other clocks or other people?"

"Let's go for both and just keep following Finland," said Iceland.

"Sounds good to me!" said Norway.

...

"How many more clocks are there?" Korea groaned, sick of Austria's attitude.

"I hope there aren't too many more..." said Switzerland, eyes open for any other clocks.

"Pfft, I don't care," Austria muttered.

Korea resisted the urge to punch Austria in the face, while Switzerland called out, "Found one!"

Korea and Austria looked to where Switzerland was pointing and found, sure enough, a shiny clock in the woods.

"Let's get this over with..." Austria sighed, rolling his eyes.

"Agreed..." Korea muttered.

The three nations headed towards the forest, taking out monsters as they walked. When they reached the clock, Austria and Korea defeated the monsters while Switzerland got to the clock and broke it. Once the last monster was down, the three nations plopped onto the ground to rest.

"I hate this so much..." Austria groaned, lying down in the grass.

"I know... But we have to go on. It's almost night anyway, so we can sleep then," Korea said tiredly, trying to get back up.

"Let's just sleep here..." Switzerland suggested, too tired to say any more.

Korea looked at the now sleeping nations and sighed, knowing that he had to be the one to keep watch. He stood up and started walking around, trying to keep himself awake. But just as he was about to lay down and fall asleep himself, he heard a scream from close by. He quickly stood up again and ran over to where he heard the scream, finding the girls there.

"What's wrong?" he panted, looking around.

"Umm, well..." Hungary muttered, trying not to look at Liechtenstein.

"N-Nothing happened!" Belarus said nervously.

Ukraine just rolled her eyes and said, "Liechtenstein got mad at Hungary and Belarus and threatened to kill them."

"We heard that if you die here, you actually die!" Hungary said, fear in her eyes.

"Tch, like I care," Liechtenstein muttered.

"Please don't kill each other," Korea sighed, tired of all the fighting.

"Whatever," Liechtenstein said, pocketing her gun.

Korea walked back over to where Austria and Switzerland were then, seeing that they were both still sleeping, fell asleep himself.
